Kings Body Shop and Auto Care in Artesia

I'm confused. Ratings were high so I went over there because they were close to me. I needed my front engine splash guard and driver side fender liner to be replaced. The guy didn't even want to come out to check it and give me a quote. That's weird. He said they can't work on it. As in you don't do that kind of body work or not this very minute??? I was clear when I came in that I was asking for a quote. At least the other car mechanics around the corner were upfront and told me that they don't do that kind of work and I should take it to a body shop.

I recently got in an accident and looking for a local shop to work with. As flusterred as I was with the accident, I drove to the shop not knowing what to expect, that's when I came across Ray. His demeanor was so relaxed. He was so kind, helpful, and knowledgable. I asked a million questions about the process. How long it would take? What insurance would pay for? How is the payment handled? Whom to pay the deductible to? What if there is any additional damage? He was so patient and explained the entire process to me. I learned that the industry was heavily regulated and the price is pretty much set by the insurance company. The only variable was the quality of the work, I went based on the Yelp reviews. Well, I got my car back today ahead of schedule and the work is amazing. I asked what if the paint starts to fade because I park outdoors? He said, don't worry about it, it comes with a 10yr no fade satisfaction guarantee. They went above and beyond with all the details. After disassembling my bumper, he noticed damage to the headlight. He took pictures and submitted to insurance on my behalf. He worked with suppliers to get OEM parts. Because one light was new and the other about 10yrs old. He had his guys polish the other headlight to make them match at no additional cost. I mean, you just couldn't ask for more. He didn't even have to touch it to be honest. So in conclusion, while you don't walk into a body shop everyday like you do a restaurant, you never know what you're gonna get. I found a hidden gem in Cerritos/Artesia, and I highly recommend. I see people looking for recommendations on Doctors, Chiropractors, or Contractors all the time. Now I can recommend Kings Auto Body as I actually have been there and used their service. FIVE STARS

Been going there for the past 30 years or so. The owner does not make much social talks, rather he concentrates on the vehicle. Best of all, he never tries to upsell. Thank goodness.

My door Was replaced by my boyfriend six months ago and came loose… I called him he said to go to body shop… And ask them to tighten bolt up… So I went by there and he said $350 maybe more change the hinges… So I went to my boyfriend’s house 50 miles away and he tighten the bolt and it’s fine… They are ripoffs don’t go there… Danger danger!!

Just went for the first time. I live a few minutes away. I got serviced very quickly despite seeing many cars there. I came in for an oil change and ended up having my windshield wiper and back taillight replaced since I've been putting it off for a while. They took care of all 3 services super quickly and very well priced. Paid less than I thought I would and I'm sure less than I would've somewhere else! Thanks Kings! I found my new mechanic.

The team at Kings Auto/Body has been our families "go to" place for years. It is family owned and operated and I have been referring people for over 15 years and they are all return regular customers now. My children have grown up and now they take their cars to Kings... Honest hard working guys!! I don't live near bye buy they are worth the trip.
