I’ve always been happy with Johnny and his staff absolutely nothing bad to say about them I highly recommend this shop for anyone looking to get work done
Our neighbor recommended Johnny's Automotive and so we had him check out brakes to make sure they were still good. He could have said, no, the pads need to be replaced, but instead he said, you have at least a year before you need new pads. It can be hard to find an honest mechanic, and I appreciated that he was honest by telling us to wait.
Johnny’s is great very trustworthy. They’ve been working on our vehicles for the past 10 years.

My son was down in Irwindale with his classic Mustang and was having some issues. I called Johnny’s and he had him come by to take a look. Nicest and most helpful mechanic experience that I’ve heard of and I’ve worked in automotive for years. Johnny’s went above and beyond to help him out and get the vehicle sorted, and back to the track. Words cannot describe how helpful and professional they were, and how well they took care of him. This is the type of place you can send your family to and know they’ll be treated properly.
I had been going to Johnny for about 15 years and was very pleased with his service (no one is ever pleased with prices, although he is very fair). Then I moved 20 miles away. I tried a local highly-recommended mechanic. Well, I will be driving the 20 miles to go see Johnny from now on
I've been going to Johnny for years. Great, genuinely nice guy, and an honest mechanic. He typically checks car problems for free before doing the work and lets you know the costs up front (which is usually less than other repair shops). Work is solid, and he guarantees the work for a year, so if something goes wrong, he'll fix it again for free. Only downside is that he's pretty popular, so it usually takes a day to get the work done because of other cars he's working on. Once he works on the car, he takes care of it fast. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a good mechanic. He's hard to beat on price and quality!

Johnny has assembled a great team and they seem to take each customer very seriously. Every person I met there over the last year seems to have nothing but good things to say about the operation. Johnny is a classy person and his shop produces great work at fair prices. I drive over from los Robles in Pasadena because the experiences have been that good. Johnny is the most honest mechanic I have ever met!!! He saved me several hundred dollars from what the dealer quoted me! I always take all my cars there!!
BEWARE!! They talk well and seem to know what they are doing...However the work they bill you for is NEVER done. I have three respected independent auto mechanics that state my work was NEVER done. When I meet with the owner Johnny who agreed that the belt was original until I showed him a receipt from his company that the work had already been done his story changed. If you have a receipt saying it was done then we did it. Well I am here to tell you ALL the services for $1240.85 were NEVER done. I am tired of getting ripped off! BEWARE....
