Marlon, the shop owner, is highly experienced in his craft. I've taken my car to him before in the past and recently for alignment work, including front suspension work. Here's my experience with Marlon so far. The first time I worked with him, I found him online and the ratings for his shop were good. He had pictures of some of his work on Instagram and google maps. With my 1970 Mustang, it was in a crash, so I brought it to Marlon after getting a bit of bodywork and suspension work done on the car a few years back. After talking with him, I found out that he mainly works on Ford Mustangs, Falcons, and Mercury Cougars, but also works on other old Ford/Mercury models as well. Marlon aligned my Mustang to the best of his ability and gave me some recommendations as far as suspension and what else could make the car feel better. From his years of experience, he was able to recommend some repairs and upgrades for my car, including pointing out things I didn't know about my car before. We also installed some new strut rod bushings and re-did my oil pan seal. I was pretty satisfied with the work he did the first time and the car drove great. The second time I brought it back to him was a week ago after a previous shop screwed up my power steering and an alignment they tried to do. The car veered to the right and didn't feel stable on the freeway. In addition, my power steering was leaking. I brought the car back to Marlon because of the work he did previously. Turns out that not only was the alignment screwed up by the previous shop, but that my Borgeson power steering lines were bad and my draglink was bent. My Borgeson system was done cheaply by a previous owner using a manual steering adapter to connect the box to the stock power steering system. Because of the bent draglink and steering setup, the car felt wonky. Marlon suggested that swapping to a manual draglink and steering system with my Borgeson box would make the steering feel less wonky. For the meantime however, Marlon re-aligned the car to fix what the previous shop messed up and installed new lines. I was also happy with the work he did on the second visit. For my most recent third visit, I went to his shop after deciding to get the manual steering parts installed at his shop and for the to be car re-aligned for the new manual steering. Marlon tested the car after performing the work. I also had him check another power steering leak. Turns out that it wasn't the new lines Marlon installed that were leaking, but the Borgeson box seals i have on the box in my car. Despite the leak, he was open for feedback on how I felt about the car's handling when I drove it. The steering felt significantly more controllable on the freeway and at higher speeds, and the steering felt straight. Despite the bit of play from my box, Marlon made the car feel tremendously controllable and safer than before. Just like the few previous times I have been to his shop, I was happy with the work. Marlon is one of the few shops left around that specializes in this type of work on older cars, and has the experience and know-how that has made other customers happy to come to him. The fact he has kept me on the road and my car handling great has made me a returning customer at his business.
Marlon knows what he’s doing and takes good care of you! My 2008 Mustang rides like new! A little hard to find (you gotta go around to the alley) but, don’t let that stop you.
The toe was out of alignment, she is straight as an arrow!!! Would have been a 5star but to test drive my car for more than 10 mins🤔🤔
Marlon is the man to see if you want things done right. Marlo's Frame and Alignment not only does things the old school way but when he is done your car will drive and handle better than when it originally left the factory floor. Marlon is extremely knowledgeable on every classic car. I took my '62 Ford Falcon to him and with his recommendation on parts to order and the set up to choose, my car handles better than ever. It's a full canyon carver now thanks to Marlo's Frame and Alignment. I couldn't recommend this shop any more.
Marlon made my 1973 Ford F-250 ride like it was on rails hands down best place to go for custom work on classics!!
Does great work! Honest. Ladies and gents this is a good place to have work done on your car. Will explain in detail what is wrong and an honest and cost effective way to fix it. I will continue to send friends his way. Thanks Marlin. :-)
Honest and very knowledgeable. No nonsense, provided a practical and cost effective solution to the issue I had with my suspension. Accommodating as well. Will come back again.
If you want to have a nice reception area, this is not the place. However, you will find excellent, no-nonsense, honest service at a reasonable rate. Recommended.
