Do not bring your Vehicle to this shop! Very unprofessional and rude. I made an appointment for Friday on a Wednesday because I didn't want my vehicle to stay at the shop untill they had time. The owner guaranteed me if I brought the vehicle in on Friday that he would have a diagnostic and a price for repairs by the end of the day. When I called at 4:30 on Friday To check the status and come pick up the vehicle or have them do the repairs they informed me that the vehicle had not been looked at and Would take A-day or 2 longer before they could look at the truck Knowing my whole purpose was to Not leave my vehicle overnight or multiple days. S needless to say I took my truck and went somewhere else!!!!
My first time going to Japanese Auto was yesterday battery light was on but it was my alternator i had been looking for a good place to start taking my car to for service and have have found it the customer service is A+ from Eva to Craig to every single person that i had any dealing with including the sweet cashier who checks you out not only will i go back but i will refer others. I like this place They do good work But (of course!) My recent visit proved more costly than I think was really fair. They installed two outboard stop/turn lightbulbs for me on my 1985 Corvette which I provided (LED upgrades) I couldn't reach them to do on my own. The cost was $120.00 and took 45 minutes max, actually less to do. I leave this to you for evaluation. Happy with the work nonetheless.
This is a good find. Steve, the owner, and his workers are very professional, honest, and punctual people. They work fast to get you back on the road. They will give you a quote and follow up with text messages. I'm so happy I found Steve after having issues with the Honda dealership down the street. Our diesel sprinter was having an overheating problem. This shop did some diagnostic testing and found a couple of problems with the cooling system and gave an estimate of what the repairs would cost. The estimate was reasonable and we gave the go ahead do complete the repairs. While working on the van they found and replaced a brake light that was out and removed and repaired a nail in one of the tires at no extra cost. The van now runs great. Definitely very happy with their work and prices.

These guys are awesome! They explained everything and answered all questions. They diagnosed why my car wouldnt pass the smog test, fixed it, ran it on the dyno and submitted my passing smog certificate! They also gave me a detailed list of what else needs to be done. No one else is touching my car but them! Thanks!
Fast and courteous service. In and out with my vehicle registration within 10 minutes, really worth the extra fee than waiting an hour or two at the DMV.

Eduardo is the man! Super polite, shop experience has been magnificent. He did my smog check for my car and I noticed he had the sign up for doing dmv services and I asked about if it was legit. I was a little sketched out about it at first, but he said everything is legal and legit so I gave it a green light. Only paid $60 plus dmv fee for his services and I didnt have to make line in the dmv anymore!! Totally worth doing it.

Place is great to get a smog check. Pass or fail you pay 50$. If you fail you dont have to pay again once the problem is fixed and you get it checked out again.

It was all bad for my sons car never again to that smog place they are incompetent. No knowledge of Camaro repair. And they lie to cover up their mistake. What goes around comes around. That shop will get theirs.

I m always wary of shops that both inspect and repair: inherent conflict-of-interest. These folks did a full brake and light inspection and only found one brake light out!! I asked the owner, Steve, what it would cost to do the lightbulb change. I would have hade to drive to a parts store, get the longer and drive back, so I was willing to pay for his labor and gave them do the replacement. I went out and took the bulb out to speed up the process and told him i d Pay for the full replacement. He gave me the replacement bulb, which I put in, and he DID NOT charge for the replacement, just the bulb. Steve is a stand-up guy. Highly recommend based on this interaction.
So happy I found this place. Ive been there two times, for two different vehicles and both times they did a great job, and their prices are very fair. Mark is a great, he is easy to talk to and explains everything in a way that is easily understood.
Found this shop after doing a little online research for smog check station. Very close to my home. Printed out a $10 off coupon for smog check. No extra charge for the smog certificate or electronic transmission to DMV. Took less than ten minutes. Fast and friendly place. Check it out.

I brought my car in because I was leaking coolant. They did a full inspection on the car and told me I was leaking from my water pump and even notified me about an oil leak and told me to kee an eye on it. They were very helpful in explaining what repairs I needed and got the job done in a timely manner. The staff was very polite and even gave me an estimate on the other repairs I needed. I recommend coming here for any repairs needed! Awesome place with a great staff.
If you go to any other smog check place, youre an idiot! Eduardo is the king of smog! Trust me on this one guys. Eduardo is also physically attractive, not that I was looking. The speaker installation place down the road told me they would give me a discount if I brought them an ice cold coke (after heavy discount solicitation) and Eduardo loaned me 4 quarters to purchase one from their vending machine. Ill get you back for that one Big E! Thanks for everything and never change!

The lovely gentleman that runs this business treats customers very well. They dont make you wait and keep you abreast of the progress. Very pleasant to deal with. I will be having my check engine light diagnosed and they will do the work in order for my car to pass the smog test.

Been going to these guys for almost 10 years for both our cars. Weve moved 20 minutes away, but not going anywhere else but these guys for a smog. STAR certified Im glad to say. Excellent service and honest owner. Gave me free advice several times on how to fix some mechanical issues without spending much money. He could have easily charged me for the repair himself. Glad theyve grown their business since I first visited.

Had a smog check done recently and needed to finish my registration forms. I was in and out in under 30 minutes with my papers in order. Steve, the owner, even honored his discount without any mention of it from me. I would definitely go back and have it done there again.

I rolled into Smog & Registration today (Saturday) at 1:30PM with a car I needed to smog, register, and title transfer. Having never done these things outside of an actual DMV office, I fully expected to spend at least an hour or two dealing with the paperwork and whatnot. I left before 2:00PM with my interim title and reg sticker in hand. Im sorry I didnt catch the name of the proprietor, but he was incredibly helpful and friendly with all the paperwork and explaining the fees. Even included the $5 discount for the coupon from his website I couldnt print because I was too cheap to refill my inkjet printer. So if you dread going to the DMV and standing in lines, give this place a shot and support local small business.
