Great customer service! Theyre honest and really polite.

There was a long line of people waiting, but they moved quickly with friendly attentive service.

How do I give 0 stars. I brought my truck here to have an oil change. I watched them hand a bottle of opened liquimoly oil from below my truck up one of the techs. The tech tried to hide it behind his back and walk away from the car out of view. A different tech came back from same area immediately and handed 2 bottles of the same liquimoly to a tech to start the oil change. The first previously opened bottle poured 3 qts of dirty yellow oil back into my truck (this was original bottle from below my truck). The next bottle was unopened - they then proceeded to open it and pour out 5 quarts of a completely different color oil which is to be expected with liquimoly. How could the exact same bottled product have two different colors of oil? At worst, I witnessed them re-use oil from below my truck. At best they are re-purposing other oil and selling it as a product they didn t have. Either way this is fraud I m reporting this to their corporate but who knows, maybe they endorse this type of action.

Brief version: I am comfortable doing major maintenance on my own cars, but I sometimes have others change my oil because its not fun. I just had Valvoline on T.O. Blvd. chamge the oil on my Genesis GV80, and I will not be going anywhere else in the future. Truly an awesome experience. Details: Poor planning on my part, but the night before a 700 mile driving trip, I decided I had to have an oil change. Only Valvoline had availability, but they didnt have a filter for my 2021 GENESIS GV80 (not a common car) and it also required a specific oil they didnt stock. BUT, they OFFERED to let me bring my own supplies and charge me only labor. I drove over immediately, stopping for the parts at an auto parts store. On arrival, these folks were so pleasant, so knowledgeable and so helpful, I have no idea how I hadnt heard of them before. And I wasnt worried about them working on my car. Then, it turns out I brought the wrong oil filter. They gave me the proper serial number(s) I should look for, and didnt make me feel stupid. I got the correct filter just before they closed. They were still all smiles. Car is awesome. Go here.

Valvoline is the best especially this one right here in Thousand Oaks got the best customer service manager was on point. Everybody was on point. It was just a great all-around experience wonderful staff.

I ve used Valvoline for years, but 2 days ago my car started making a sound and the oil light came on. Even though I ve been great with oil changes and wasn t due for my next visit until Xmas according to the sticker they gave me. When I arrived, The guys said miss, you have NO OIL in your car!! The proceeded to check if there was metal in my oil when flushing. They said unfortunately there is lots of silver and STILL PROCEEDED WITH THE OIL CHANGE AND CHARGED ME FOR IT! 5 minutes later my car completely failed and I m out of a car! This was hugely unethical, and I asked for a refund which they refused!!

This is defintley the best place to get your oil changed. Not like the other places for sure. Very communicative, knowledgeable, and friendly. Defintley would recommend and love this place!! And no Wait I was in and out as soon as possible I can t remember most of there names but I remember Christopher very friendly! Bottom Line defintley recommend

Went here the other day for a general oil change. While I was there they told me I needed all these liquid levels changed out and re filled. They scared me so I went to an auto shop. $200 later they tell me all my levels are fine. To top it off, vavoline left all my tires flat and left the caps to my tires loose so I got all flats on the freeway going home. Quite irritated, but I ll just not be lazy next time and do my own oil change. Not coming here again.

Service was excellent but price charged for a simple oil change exceeded $200.00. Last oil change I got on my other car was $130.00 which was acceptable. $200.00+ is crazy in my books. I know what a gallon of oil and a filter costs. I will no longer support them. Rather go to my mechanic and get the same service for $120.00 months

Nice staff, but don t do what they say they were going to do. Fluids not filled, lights, not checked, and the service computer not reset. They charge too much to be this inattentive. Technician broke my dipstick and immediately offered to replace. They promised to follow up by email or text message when it arrived. Guess we ll see.

Today was excellent!

I went about a month ago with a Groupon and my experience was fine. They did advise me to buy a new battery even though mine is only 2 years old and my multimeter says its fine, but up selling is probably a part of the job, so its whatever. My actual gripe and the reason for the low review is that my cars tire pressure light has been on since. I admittedly ignored the light for longer than I should have (I dont drive far or often), but they were substantially overfilled. All of them were 41-44 and my recommended PSI is 32 for the back and 33 for the front. I dont know if they had someone new working who made a mistake, if they wanted me to have to buy new tires, or what; but I wanted to warn others in case a more substantial mistake happens to them

I hadnt changed my oil since COVID and needed a quick solution for my busy schedule. I was very pleased with the work at Valvoline. My dad didnt like the price and suggested Walmart, but this location is more convenient for me. The staff here are trustworthy, friendly, and provide great customer service. Plus, after your first oil change, they give a 20% coupon for future changes, making the price comparable to Walmart. Highly recommend!

These guys were very fast and efficient. In and out in less than 15 minutes. They checked fluid levels and tire pressures and reset my dashboard message. I will be going here again and again!

Who would ve thought an oil change would be enjoyable?! The people working on my car were nice and not pushy about add on services. They provided me with that info I needed and I didn t leave feeling ripped off. I m new to the area and this will be the place I go moving forward.

If your a female that doesn t know a lot about cars do not come here the manager tried to lie to my wife. I hate to leave bad reviews but I also don t appreciate mechanics taking advantage of people who don t know a lot about cars. My wife came here yesterday and the manager named Hector told her she was low on coolant and that she wouldn t be able to fill it herself and advised her to either pay $200 here or go to a dealership, when my wife told him that her husband said she can fill her own coolant herself he smiled as he was caught in a lie. After I inspected her car she was not low on coolant at all! I called Hector myself to ask him why he decided to lie and he told me that he told her to get a coolant flush, now I ve done my own coolant flush many times myself and just because my wife is a female it isn t right to assume she isn t capable of doing the same job. This is discrimination and a scam, we will never come here again!

I have been going to Valvoline for a few years now and I just love them. They are quick and very helpful. They have saved me a lot of money by giving honest recommendations and applying coupons for me. Consistently excellent and fast service. I never feel like they are trying to upsell me or pressure me to purchase things I do not need. I highly recommend this company and especially this location.

Its kinda expensive but its supposed to be quick: 15 mins . And I was in a hurry . A lot of up sell, but not a lot of pressure, just suggestions. I was in and out of there in an hour...to be fair there was one person ahead of me.

Quick and easygoing

Had my oil changed today. It took about 15 minutes and was done while we sat in the car. They checked my lights and ensured my brake lights worked. The staff was amazing, kind, thorough and so helpful. The dealership wanted $40 more, and couldn t take me for 4 days. I usually wait and it takes 2 hours at the dealership. I will never go to the dealership for an oil change again. Valvoline Thousand Oaks has a new customer for life.

Really great service. Adrian was very knowledgeable, and told me to check the oil in my daughters car frequently because that model burns oil after 100k miles. The best is all she has to do is drive in they will check the oil and add if necessary. The service was extremely fast. No appointment needed. Better than other drive up services because you know you that you are getting Valvoline oil.

I loved the team spirit of this place! Everyone was communicating clearly with each other and they all seemed happy to be there. I loved the friendliness of everyone and I wish I would have gotten all of their names. Hector was a sweetheart, a genuine easy going young man. These guys are always cool and professional. They get the job done quick and they even go the extra mile to make sure everything is taken care of. I always go to this location not just because it s close but because they are that good.

These guys and gals that work here are friendly and work hard. However, twice now Ive been here and computers were down, or there were issues with technology. A little disorganized. What should have taken 15 minutes took almost an hour (I did add a tire rotation), but still, that should have add maybe 10 minutes? Wheres a manager? These guys and gals are barely older than kids. Someone needs to make sure this place runs a little smoother!

Usually I have a good experience here but when I arrived they started the work and then left me for 45+ minutes for just an oil change. Meanwhile another car you pulled up 15 minutes after me for an oil change was in and out before me. They should do their best to work on the cars that come in first.

No 15 minutes thats for sure. Its okay though, a four deep line and still out quicker than the dealership would have taken without the hassle. Not recommending in lieu of, but for a oil change its okay.

Manager refused to accept my $15 off coupon I received in the mail. She said she couldn t find a barcode even though I cut along the dotted line and had the complete coupon. Usually the people here a great. What a strange reason to lose a customer.

Always a pleasure coming here. I drive A LOT, about 4-5 hours a day. This is my second visit and so far it s my favorite location. Polite and professional, not pushy with unnecessary service.

Meh... The wait was long, and these guys were constantly upselling products and services that I was sure I didnt need. I had asked three times to make sure that the tires were properly inflated because I had a warning light on my dashboard when I went in... They explained that its part of their service and they always do it, but they completely failed to do this, after three requests. After the long wait, I didnt have time to go back and get them to do it, so now I have to go find a place to do this myself. Grr. Its disappointing because I always went to the Valvoline near my old house in Studio City, which always did a great quick job, and Id never trust another Jiffy Lube, no matter where it is.

Outrageous quote for oil change on VW Atlas. Quoted me $178. Needless to say, I left and will never come back. I take my Kia here all the time. Not any more.

I called a couple days before going into Valvoline get a price for an oil change. They said it would be $57.99 for synthetic blend for my car. However, they also said there is a coupon that they will apply bringing the charge to $42.99 plus tax. I said perfect I be in ASAP. I went in a couple days after the call. I drove up and they said to open my hood and they will start. However, I wanted to double check the price because I wasnt sure if I was supposed to find the coupon or if they will just apply it. (They really should confirm about the price before they start anyway.) They said it would be $82.99. I told them I has just called and the price is supposed to $57.99. Thats almost a $30 difference. They said they had no idea what I was talking about and the price is the price. I would have to pay it or leave. Unfortunately I was planning a road trip the next day so I didnt have time to find another place. Luckily I was able to find a coupon online by myself. I got the price down to $70.99. However that is still $30 more than I was expecting to pay. If I was told the correct price the first time or if they offered me a discount on top of the coupon I found online I would have accepted the price. However, they were rude and they didnt care that I was given wrong information. So Im not going back. There are nicer places to get an oil change for the same price. Maybe even cheaper. The reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 star is because the oil change was done very fast.

My Jeep was making a loud noise. The technician Joel was very knowledgeable and helpful with fixing the issue. They changed all my fluid in a timely manner. If you need any assistance with your vehicle Joel is the guy to ask, thank you very much.

They ve pulled out my new air filter without asking me and then put it back improperly. Don t let them touch it.

Its been a long time since Ive been to Valvoline for an oil change (maybe 2008?), and I wasnt too thrilled with my last experience. Fast forward to today when I needed to get an oil change done and all I can say is what a night a day difference. They operate like a well-oiled machine. Super friendly staff, very professional, werent pushy and got me out of there in what felt like under 30 minutes. Ill definitely be coming back.

Like most of these places they quote a price then it goes up by $40 once you pull into the bay. When I pulled up I asked the price. He gave me a price. I pulled in and boom. The price went up. I drove away.

Im a project manager for a roofing company. And we have like a good 13 trucks that we use daily for our job duties. On one particular day I had to take 5 trucks to get the oil change on each one. Omg! Let me tell you the staff was great with me I had the best experience when it comes to getting your oil change. They had no problem with me coming back and forth to get oil changes on different vehicles. They understood my situation. And they are very professional when it comes to changing oil and making sure that all exterior lights of the car are working perfectly fine. Oh! And the timing on the oil change. ( SUPER FAST). Thats why I was able to do 5 different oil changes on 5 different vehicles. You guys rock!

I had my oil change here last fall in November and had such a great experience. I wish it hadn t take me this long to write this review before accidentally going to another company somewhere else to have my oil change. Mainly because I couldn t remember where I had gotten it done being a out of state college student who now lives in Thousand Oaks. It made me realize how much I appreciated the help this location had given me and walked me through everything without trying to over charge or belittle me. I felt extremely appreciate and was treated with great respect. And after my horrible experience at another brands company I called Valvoline and talked to Rissa who helped me. She was extremely caring and was kind through the whole process and answering my questions relating to my oil change experience and what I had done last November. The staff here are great and wanted to say thank you. Next time I need an oil change I ll definitely remember to always come to Valvoline.

Was there just about an hour ago. Best and quickest oil change experience I have ever had in 42 years of being a licensed CA driver and owning many cars and SUVs. I called ahead to check on the line. They told me a 25 - 30- minute wait at the time and the lady answering actually texted me a coupon good for 2 weeks that was better than anything I had found on the internet. I packed a late lunch while I waited and went in about an hour later hoping the crowds had dissipated some by then. When I pulled up I was the only car there. A young man flagged me in and I had three courteous, respectful and hard working young people servicing myself and my car immediately. All had masks and gloves on respectful of COVID-19 best practices. One took my info down and helped me through my selections while the other two worked on my vehicle. I needed new wiper blades which they switched out for me and showed me my air filter which was ready for replacing. I kidded with them that obviously this was the first time they had ever done this and they all laughed. 5 Quarts of new synthetic oil, new wiper blades, new air filter, checked my tires for air pressure, reset my dashboard and I was out of there in 15 minutes or less. I was a bit shocked. Never had a chance to even open the lunch I had packed. I thanked them & told them they all rocked and that was the best oil change experience I have ever had. Valvoline T.O. just won a repeat customer. Nice job ladies and gentleman. Well done.

I used to come to this location for their great prices however today for my visit I came over at the price was too high we re just look just down the street they had a regular oil change for $29.99 But the employee wouldn t match the Jiffy Lube price so I left the location and I will never come back to this location anymore and they have lost my business forever. #MOODY360TV

I usually live this place but for my new car, an Alfa Romeo Stelvio, they did not have the oil my car requires and told me I needed to go to a dealer. Totally bummed

They used the wrong oil filter. Went to check my oil after 3k and it was bone dry. Added oil to see if it was a leak but got nothing. So I took it in to a different shop and was told the filter that was in was too small. Never had an issue with my oil before this shop. Won t be going back.

Fast and efficient. Having 100k miles and never changed out fluids on my vehicle went in for a complete flush and replacement. The Valvoline team swarmed my vehicle, worked in parallel, and completed the job in under 30 minutes.

The STAFF is TOP NOTCH! They are extremely friendly and accommodating. I have a disability that prevents me from communicating with people wearing mask. They happily accommodated me. Fast and friendly, quality service!

Ive been here for many years with my Ford Flex, and I think it has changed the company name from Valvoline to something else. My discussion with the staff last time was that all the same people still work there, and I can say the experience was just as great as it has always been. Drive your car into the bay, stay in your car and they do the work, then you drive out. Not much easier than that.

Quick service and never had to get out of my car. The experience was streamlined like a pitstop at a race. You drive in, give your info and they go to work while someone explains everything that is happening to your car. It was without a doubt the smoothest oil change Ive ever had.

Great service. The guys here are really nice & dont mess around when giving you car an oil change. I think it took them 10 -15min to service my car. Best place to go if you dont have a lot of time

Easy, friendly, quick, professional. Pretty crummy waiting room, sure. But thats not what I came for. Also, I like the chick (Lauren, I think I heard someone say), shes clearly all business, yet friendly and cool, laughs easy and nice. She showed me recommended services and intervals but was never even remotely pushy - THAT is much appreciated!
