This Midas is very special! Israr helps the customers with much dedication and details. Baljit, the mechanic, is highly talented with excellent skills in gasoline cars. In the past, I brought my van for cat converter protection shield installation, rear shaft replacement, wiper blade exchange, and tire change and alignment. This time, I requested to re-check the protection shields, which rattled too much. Baljit solved the issue in his creative way. It’s very quiet now, and I’m so happy! Highly recommended.
Super satisfied! I took on my Toyota Corolla that I hadn't driven in 3 years and I had a working car in less than 2 hours. I first went to the store to ask for consultation and I was expecting them to have me tow the car and tell me they'll do inspection but none of that happened. Israr the owner of the shop gave me his own Jump starter kit and told me to take home and see if it starts the car. And it did. I got the car in the garage and he personally looked into everything. He changed the car battery, oil, coolant, filter everything. The car was working like a charm. He could have totally charged me more for the wheel rotors but he suggested I first drive the car around and see if the rust comes off. If the issue persists than I can bring it back in. Absolutely loves the service and people. Highly recommended. And the biggest plus point, the charges were super reasonable. Big kudos to Israr!
Great customer service! Had a blown out tire just down the street and yet too far to drive to the shop. The manager drove over to help me just before the store closed last Saturday afternoon. Went out of his way to make sure I wouldn’t be stuck too long. Made my family get together in time because of his kindness. Much appreciated!!!

DO NOT SERVICE YOUR CAR IN THIS LOCATION. 08/25/2024. I am so disappointed at Midas and this location. They should have quality technicians and provide quality service at all of their locations. This is unacceptable. I went for an oil change and 360 inspection (the basic fluid top off, engine check and what not) plus tire rotation. After servicing my car (they only did oil change) they came back and talked about « we did a visual inspection and everything is fine, just change your tires in a month » But I saw them just doing an oil change. After paying for the service and receiving my keys, I got into my car and turned it on, the service notification popped up again. I went back in and asked them why is my car still showing the notification after it just got serviced? They went into my car trying to reset it and couldn’t. They started googling videos on YouTube, on how to do it. At this point, I started questioning everything they did on my car. Certified technicians that can’t reset the service notification in a car to a point they have to Google it. It took us another 30 minutes and still they could not figure it out. After going back and forth and a 15 minutes YouTube training, they finally figured it out. So sad. As if it wasn’t enough, I went back into my car, open the hood and checked to see if they top off the fluids as they said because I was charged for that, to my greatest surprise, it wasn’t done. I went and told the manager, only for him to tell me that he is not the technician and I should blame the technician. I said but you are the one who charged me for it, you should have some responsibility to check first. He told me, « next time do t bring your car here » I was like of course I wouldn’t. I had a horrible service. This is just to show their level of customer service. So sad. Please beware of this location and think twice before bringing your car there. It’s extremely disappointing and outrageous. Don’t service your car hein this Sunnyvale location unless you want mediocre service. Take it somewhere else!!!!
The driver's side window of my '96 Ford Explorer came off the track. I took it to the Sunnyvale Midas on July 11, 2022 to have that fixed. They had tried calling shortly after dropping it off but I was unable to answer, so I had text the manager Israr to get an update. He didn't answer. When I called back, he told me they fixed the window off the track and replaced the power switch in the door. A $400 part that I did not ask for or agree to. I didn't actually need the switch. It wasn't a necessary part to put the window back on track. Aside from the extra, unnecessary costly part that I didn't approve, they did a lousy job putting the door panel back on. They cracked the panel in several places. And for some reason the switch is no longer flush with the door panel, so they used a screw to try to hold the panel in place. I am EXTREMELY disappointed in the work that was done. But I am even more disappointed in the response from their management. Israr had text me to ask how their work was. I replied with my displeasure. He never responded. I got an email from Ram Iyer asking for my honest review. That if I felt they deserved anything less than 5 stars to send him an email so that he could correct the problem. He never responded. I sent follow up messages to both. Neither one has made even an attempt to address the issue. They just continue to ignore me. I gave both ample time and opportunity to discuss my complaints and both have failed to get back to me. So I am leaving the 1 star review they earned.
It's been such a great experience to do my service at MIDAS. I own Range Rover Sport 2016 and for me was so important to get a good quality service. First, it's how professional people they are. It's incredible to see people who have passion and enjoying to work there. Second, how clear they can explain what you need and don't charge extra, which is so important for me and don't want to spend extra money. I highly recommend this to all people who are going to do a service, oil change, or try to buy new tires, and as for me, I found a place where I would love to come back over and over again.
