Skip's Tire & Auto Repair Center in Scotts Valley

I’ve been to Skip’s a few times and they’ve always been good to me. Patches or new tires, great customer service and honest pricing!

I had an oil change and was impressed with all that goes along with it-- checking of not only all other fluids, but many other things as well. It included tire rotation, and they told me about a couple other issues that were important to get done on my vehicle. I had a very long drive ahead of me and I asked them if these were emergency, as in did I need to get them done right away for the safety of my trip, or could I wait until I returned because I was running behind. They told me the amount of time it would take me to do everything, just so I would know, but then said it would still be safe for me to go ahead and take my trip, but that they highly recommend I take care of the issues upon my return because they were at the high end of needing to be addressed. The two guys on the team I interacted with were both helpful and nice. I will be back after my trip.

Used to take all my cars here. Today I was told a little over an hour for a nail in my tire to be repaired. I had my 3 year old with me and we went got ice cream and went shopping. Returned after two hours and my car had not moved. I took my keys right back and drove my kid home to mom, and went straight to integrity where they got it done in 15 mins. Skips used to be the best but the last 3 times I’ve been I’ve left frustrated and late included a simple oil change taking hours. No more business from me!

The team at Skip’s was terrific. Got towed to the station and they had the problem figured out in an hour and fixed by the next day. Keeping me informed the whole time. Thanks so much!

Seriously the best! I am so appreciate of how Zack informed me that I don’t need to replace my tires and that he could fix the one that was damaged and I was on my way! And with more money in my pocket!!!! Thank you! I’ll be back for other services from now on.

First time experience with Skip's Tire & Auto and it definitely deserves a 5 star rating. From start to finish the staff was terrific to interact with and the needed repairs were made quickly and at a reasonable price.

We've been going to Skip's for 9 years. That might change. Mechanics were super unprofessional and distracted, completely stopping work to have a deep discussion about video games, delaying my car being released by over an hour. Then, at checkout, I come to find they were SO distracted, they forgot to do some of the work I brought it in for. Having them rectify cost me more time and frustration. Then, on the way home, the newly-installed tire pressure sensor failed. Taking it back will cost even more time and frustration. Mechanics were SO distracted, I don't trust them from a safety standpoint.

I found Skips via Groupon and signed up for a great deal on a full synthetic oil change including a tire rotation at a very fair/reasonable price. My experience was excellent! These folks are very professional and efficient. They gave my entire car a complete check over in addition to the oil change and tire rotation and at the end provided me with a very thorough computerized report, Including images of tires etc.,on their findings. I left feeling like I had a major service on my car when in fact it was simply an oil change. I left thinking how pleased I was that that I went there. I would highly recommend this auto service business. I will certainly continue to use their services in the future. 👍🙂
