I really want to give a good review because I understand everyone is hustling these days to survive but I did not have a good experience. I was told that I would get 2 free tires and the bill still came out to $600 for the cheapest ones they have. I was told a warranty was included but right before paying I noticed a line item for $80 warranty. That does NOT mean "included". I was told it would take 1-1.5 hours and it took almost 2 hours. But the real kicker is that when the car puled up I noticed the tires looked low in air and I thought to myself "it couldnt be, theres no way a tire shop would give me fresh tires but not check the pressure". I went ti a gas station and sure enough the pressure for each tire was at 31 PSI instead of the 44 PSI it should be at. The guy was friendly but I'm bummed with this experience.

Great service, integrity and very courteous professionals. We picked up an eyelet bolt in our left rear tire on the way to our weekend in Capitola. We were prepared for hours of waiting and what could have been a $300 replacement tire. We were in and out in about 40 minutes for $35. Saved our trip!

Charged my wife $88 to replace a brake light bulb. It’s an $8 part that takes 5 minutes. I could have easily done it myself. They charged $44 for the bulb plus $40 labor. Ridiculous! We will never be back. They also took 4 hours to do an oil change and that’s with an appointment.

Happy to give a five star rating if I get a refund on the supposed “tire insurance” that I purchased. I was in in February and purchased four new tires. I also added extra road hazard insurance on them. A few months later, I rolled over a screw and got a flat. so of course, I was happy that I had purchased the extra insurance. I checked my receipt and I could see I was built to the insurance, but I didn’t have any other information. So I called Lloyd’s. They seemed confused and said “I don’t know. All I have is a phone number. You’ll have to call the phone number. “ So I called the insurance company and they said that I needed a plan number. They said “we sell hundreds of plans. We need to know what your plan was”. Which makes sense. So I called Roy back again. Crickets. they had no idea what my plan number was or how to find it. I asked what I should do. Crickets. If you guys want to respond and perhaps offer a rebate on the insurance that you sold me, I still have my receipt. And I will have a record of the phone call as well. Thank you.

Came in for an oil change; after they performed the work they informed me that my valve cover gasket was blown. Not sure why they didn’t ask to do the valve cover before the oil change considering I had been waiting for there for 3 hours and not fixing the valve cover gasket would defeat the purpose of the oil change. I made this point to the lady at the desk though I do think she had any idea what I was talking about. The whole experience left me thinking that these people or either evil or just plain stupid. Please hire more qualified professionals or people whom take pride in their work and know how to do job the RIGHT way, the first time around. Will not be coming back and you shouldn’t either. Save your money

Writing this review with the caveat that my rating may change based on how Jennifer and the team at Lloyds handle the situation from here. I brought my truck to Lloyds with the ask to have them use the Road Force balancing process on a set of aftermarket wheels and tires that didn’t balance well with the standard process at a different shop. After talking with Jennifer and the techs, they agreed to do the Road Force balancing process which takes a little longer, but I agreed to pay for the extra time. All seemed fine until I went to pick my truck up when it was done. Jennifer told me it went good and proceeded to bill me for the work. After I paid, she gave me the key, I went to leave, but decided to take a look at each wheel…. Upon inspecting their work, I noticed one wheel smelled like fresh spray paint (these were brand new purchased last weekend). I felt the wheel and without a doubt it has a fresh coat of flat black spray paint over two large gashes in the powder coat finish. I rubbed the paint and it was sticky and rubbed of as if it were brand new paint. After looking more it was very obvious the technician damaged the wheel and tried to cover it up in the most ghetto way possible (he spray painted my $400 wheel), even got overspray on the tire. The manager either didn’t know about this or also tried to hide it from me. I pointed this out to Jennifer and two other technicians (Rob and Kinec) who agreed it was freshly spray painted. They apologized and agreed purchase me a new wheel to replace. It gets worse…. I go across the street to meet my family for dinner, after explaining the situation to them they take a closer look at all my wheels and find another wheel was damaged (less noticeable but also a large chip out of the powder coat), so now they need to replace 2 wheels. Even further, I get home and notice one wheel still has the wheel weights from the old shop that originally balanced it, it wasn’t aired up to 50 psi like the other three tires (I had them all set to 45), and it was the only one who’s lug nuts were torqued to spec (I previously torqued them). Which means, they didn’t even take this wheel off the truck and balance even though they charged me for it. And lastly, looking at another wheel, one of the weights they put on was falling off because they tech didn’t clean the ripped foam from the old weights off, meaning there could have been other weights that fell off and that tire is no longer balanced. So, I’m absolutely blown away by all of this and this has by far been the worst experience I’ve had in my life with any automotive shop. They charged me $280, owe me a refund for one tire for the work they didn’t do, another refund for the wheel from weights falling off, and caused $900 worth of damage (two Method 705 wheels) I’m happy to raise my review rating if they are able to remedy these issues, but until then I’m going through every effort to expose how dishonest, unprofessional, and untrained this shop and the technician there is. 8/5 update: Jennifer spoke with the regional manager and they said they can only repair the wheels. This is not an option however as it voids the original manufacturers warranty (Method Wheels) on the wheel finish. I communicated that with her and am awaiting a call back from the regional manager.

DAMAGED MY BRAND NEW VEHICLE. STRIPPED BOLTS. LOCK NUT FOR TIE ROD COMPLETELY LOOSE. ECCENTRIC BOLT LOOSE. MISSING PARTS. AND SERVICE NOT PERFORMED SAFELY OR CORRECTLY. I came in for an alignment on my vehicle. After the alignment I had my doubts about the work being done as I watched the gentleman doing the work. I crawled underneath my vehicle in the parking lot before leaving and found that missing plastic clips for my air dam had not been put back in. I had to go back in and ask for those we found them laying on the alignment rack. I also found two bolts for my skid plate had been driven in sideways with an impact gun and completely stripped out. I had to go in myself and ask for a thread tap and random old bolts to put it back in correctly. Which I did myself on my back in the parking lot. Those threads will never be the same and will likely wear out prematurely. The lock nut the worst thing of all was completely backed off of my passenger side tie rod end. This is not only going to ruin my alignment that I just paid for but is also unbelievably unsafe. Also the driver side rear eccentric camber adjustment Bolt was loose and I drove home because I did not find that part cuz it was hidden behind the skid plate so my alignment was likely lost on the way home and now has to be redone. At the end of all this I called back and I asked for a return of my money for the services that I believe to not have been performed and performed in an unsafe manner and I was told I would receive a return. I called back a week later and I had not received the return yet and I was told that it could take up to 6 months to receive a credit on my credit card. So I have stopped payment on my credit card and disputed the purchase hopefully things will go well but if I can save one person the headache of going to this place I will have done my job I will include some pictures in here which show the parts and question but I have fixed the lock nut and the eccentric bolt being loose since this encounter so the photos will not show loose hardware, just the hardware in question. Save yourself the heartache and avoid this place at all costs.

YES!!! Thank goodness I was referred to this location!! Years ago I favored Lloyd's in SC until they were bought. It then went quickly downhill. However, this location offers everything I valued from the other location. Why? Jacob is running this location and he is the man!! He knows his business, he listens, he is kind, and so much more! I am so grateful to have the peace of mind back to be taken care of again and never stress about tire issues. I came in last minute today for a leaky tire and he was quick to hook me up and get me back on the road!! Thank you!!!
