Love this place! So much to see and to learn for my teenage son, who is a car enthusiast! He asks to stop by every time we drive to UCSC to visit his banana slug sister. It really makes me a cool mom! It is free and super quiet on a week day. Staff are very friendly!
Canepa has high end unique racing and sports cars where visitors can tour the museum and the sales floor. The public can also view the mechanic shop from a balcony where they can see cars being restored.
Easy to find, casual showrooms downstairs for sale and upstairs museum and shop overlook. Not crowded during our visit. Gullwing in the shop 👍. Smaller size museum yet has some classics. Personal fav is the blue Cobra.
Not a "Car Guy" but I love this place. I think I had most of these cars in my AFX slot car collection back in the day. So clean and classy and classic! 🙌🏼🏎️
This is the best museum in the world! I visited it several times, and each time the exhibitions changed! There is an entrance to the service area, you can watch the process of servicing sports cars. I recommend this place to visit! Plus the ticket is free!
The museum part is a treat - free to enter and full of amazing cars especially if you know what you’re looking at! There’s also a shop view so you can see the cars they’re working on and that was just as special to me, fascinating. Sadly the showroom was closed the day I came due to some building work but that’s a very minor thing especially as I wasn’t there to buy a car! Amazing place.
The Canepa Museum is a credit to it's owner, well stocked with some very nice motor cars, GT40, AC Cobra and all manor of Porsche. A floor full of ex race cars and a workshop full of classic beauties 😲. And it's free! Top marks for me 👍
I was absolutely astonished when I saw 1 of only 106 McLaren speedtails sitting in the showroom of this beautiful museum and better yet, sat right next to it was an astounding 1 of only 56 McLaren p1 gtr’s! I was so suprised to see these beautiful cars right across from my house! Wonderful!
