Stock GSA front shock blew out at pretty low mileage while on a long trip, I reached out to Ted Porter's BeemerShop and followed the advice as to what a good replacement option would be. They send out the front shock immediately so I could head home to CO and get it on right away. I also sent in my rear with ESA to get replaced along with the new front. Right after I got it back together headed out on another trip and my bike felt completely different through all kinds of terrain. Made the big GS really fun to ride and at a much faster pace. Good stuff, and great customer service. I would buy from them again.

Nothing but praises for Ted Porter and his team at the BeemerShop. When my '18 K16 Grand America threw an ESA code for the rear shock, I contacted Ted by phone, (he really does return calls promptly)! It was immediately obvious that he knows BMW suspension inside and out, (better than my local dealer). He walked me through the possible causes and solutions. Through several subsequent phone calls we settled on a Tractive ESA conversion. I shipped my OEM unit to try to salvage the pre-loader, but unfortunately Ted quickly determined it was "toast". I managed to source a good used take off from e-Bay and had it direct shipped. Within a couple days, I received a shipping notice that my shock was on its' way! My dealer did the install and we're back in business with a much better quality shock than the OEM at about 60% of the cost of the OEM replacement. I'm thinking the front will get a Tractive ESA conversion over the winter months. These guys delivered with expertise and a professional and pleasant attitude. Highly recommend!
Ted Porter and his staff are legendary within the industry experts around BMW suspension valve work and minutia. Ted no longer does valves but sells a variety of great parts online. I bought upgraded shocks and progressive springs for two of my R90s vintage BMWs. Ted's very helpful on the phone

Third new bike dialed in by the suspension shop crew at Ted porters. On a back country discovery route in Idaho and needed a rear shock asap for the Ducati desertX, called in the weights and specifications I needed and got a tuned tractive sent rush to general delivery at a small town post office. Will always come back

Just wow!! In my preparations for one of my longest solo motorcycle rides on my BMW F 800 GT I did an exhaustive search for the most comprehensive Motorcycle tool kit I could find. My search lead me to the Beamer shop and the Moto Hansa ProSeries tool kit. Not cheap At $225 bucks but clearly one of the nicest and functional motorcycle tool kits I ve ever seen. The only problem was this wasn t coming from Amazon with two day free delivery it was being shipped by the Beamer shop and I needed it by the end of the week. One quick call to the Beamer shop, they identified my order and it shipped out within minutes and I m not kidding you folks, I got it the next day before noon. No I ve never been to their shop but as the owner of 3 BMW s you better damn well believe I will be going there and giving them as much of my business as possible. This is a double hats off for their incredible products and over the top customer service.

First time I have dealt with this company. They have a great website and it was easy to make my purchase. I received a call a few days after I made my purchase from Josh. He told me that there was a security flag on my credit card and they wanted to confirm that I did in fact make the purchase. That was quickly cleared up but now my packaged was delayed. Josh sent it priority and I got it rather quickly. Josh knows his stuff as we had a discussion regarding the ezCAN system and he answered a bunch of questions that I had. I will definitely be doing business again with these folks.

I installed the lower supension (TracTive ESA Front and Rear Set (-30mm low) to my 2021 BMW R1250RT because I am 5.4 so the bike was high for me. Now I can tell with no doubt that my bike feels by far like a completly different bike (like a new bike); it have a 100% much better suspension, a 100% much better riding traction and it really feels a 100% more safe in general riding. THANK YOU TED! you were right with all the advices that you gave me and thanks to all tour team!!

Called the shop for suspension, something its known for, and was very pleased with the experience. Ted gave me a detailed description of the options and a good deal on my final choice. No problems with communication. Feel like I could follow up with set up questions and they will take some time for me.
I wanted to get the GS-911wifi for my bmw gsa but had a lot of questions about it so I called the Beemer shop and talked to Ted ,he answered all my questions and then some. when it s time for a suspension upgrade I ll definitely be buying at the Beemershop.
It seems like it s either to much or not enough talking to people on the phone I m thinking about buying yacugar shocks and this guy just talks so much you have to interrupt him to get a word in and that goes over like your interrupting him no thanks professor

I just unboxed my new suspension and the first thing I saw was cookies! Now that is service! Ted made it so easy to pull my bike apart in Arkansas, mail the parts to California, and get them back safely. I swear the day they received my old suspension, they had the new suspension build and shipped back to me. Im blown away by the level of customer service Ted and his team provided.
I was looking at new front and rear shocks for my 2006 r1200gs and emailed Ted. He emailed me back right away and was incredible at explaining the difference in suspension. He helped me decide on TFX shocks and they were set up perfectly. It is increasingly hard to find quality information about products and Ted was incredibly generous with his time and helped me get my bike set up with a ride quality that I never thought possible.

I had a horrible experience with beemershop. I ordered an expensive GS-911 to be delivered 2nd air. 9 days later I was still waiting for my package to be delivered. I called 4 days after placing my order online and the guy that answered told me we only have 1 shipping station and were very backlogged due to the sale we had. So, why didnt you hire some additional staff to handle the huge volume you surely expected due to the sale??? Lack of foresight and planning on your behalf. You should contact people and tell them if the order is delayed...And still when it shipped it took more than 2 days, so I asked for a refund on the shipping... NOTHING On my next order for a Hex EzCan, the package never got here, and when I called to complain about it they treated me like I was trying to deceive them, and they then decided to threaten me with BRICKING the unit I ordered but never received, and told me that USPS Fraud Investigators take these matters very seriously. Well they can investigate me all they want, Im an honest law abiding citizen whose package never got here. Go ahead, I called my credit card company and disputed BOTH transactions until suck a time as you do something to straighten this out, until then, I am taking my business elsewhere and goodbye to you rude people that dont care a whit about their customers!!

Ted and his help are well deserving of the Stella rating and reviews. Ive always enjoyed the best experience when dealing with anyone from this shop. I just picked up a bike here in Utah yesterday. Ted supplied the parts. I gave my longtime mechanic Teds contact info. Ted was pleased to talk to him, and my mechanic loved dealing with Ted. Thanking my mechanic for the work done, he gave Ted credit for his great support and advice. Only one thing bothers me. I dont think Ted takes any time for himself. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, Ive contacted him on what should be his day off, and got a quick reply. Its OK to take a break, we can wait.

Recently I had an issue with my GS911 for my K1600GTL. It was Sunday over Memorial Day weekend if I remember correctly. I had just changed my oil and was trying to reset the service reminder. I couldnt get the function to work and I called the shop (thinking I would just get a recording and be able to leave a voicemail). To my amazement, the call routed through to Teds cellphone (I think). He walked me through additional steps that I had missed and everything was fine. His service was absolutely top notch and I couldnt be happier with this experience.

Ordered some airhead parts on their website and got them in the mail the next day! True, Im close ( could have made it there and back in 3 hours), but this shop is well run, very organized. And Ted is one of just a few in the country with deep knowledge of airheads.
I purchased a Wilbers shock for my 13 R1200GS from these guys about a year ago. Recently, I sent in the shock for some service work. I am amazed at their exceptional customer service and support. I asked Ted to look at my rear shock, he hook up a scanner and checked my bike no charge , he said it was sticking( bad) I asked him which rear shock I should buy for my bmw15 F700GS He spend a large amount of time explaining all my options , I ordered a Wilbers 3 way.After I installed it. First ride just ok (factory comp. a little stiff 14 ) I backed it out and then in 4 clicks .2nd ride I did a mixed mountain and freeway ride and never felt a harsh impact from any road surface and the rear tire tracked very well !
