Batteries Plus in Scotts Valley

GET YOUR BATTERIES ANYWHER ELSE IF YOU CAN!!! I went in to buy batteries for a remote i just purchased. Two batteries that where the correct size and that should fit. I opened the package in front of the worker and for some reason it didnt fit. I was later informed that sizes of batteries vary. For Instance they claim that even AAA batteries can vary in size. this to me is ridiculous, but ok. I spent 40$ on these batteries and have now way to return them. So recap. IF YOU BUY A BATTERY FROM BATTERIES PLUS AND FOR ANY REASON AT ALL IT DOESN'T WORK, FAULTY BATTERY, DOESN'T FIT, WRONG ONE, ANY REASON. YOU CANNOT RETURN IT. I don't have anything bad to say about the employees. This is a policy thing its terrible. Go buy your batteries anywhere else if you can.

Quick and easy location to get all sorts of batteries. I've been in twice to get both of my car key fab batteries replaced and the gentleman had it done in less than 5 minutes both times. Much more affordable than the dealership or the time and effort to do it myself.

Personnel are very helpful, explain options well, friendly and professional.

I came into the store needing a new Battery Power Station. They did have a couple of options but they did not meet my needs. The sales person, sorry I can't remember her name spent some time with me and I was so grateful. She gave me some advice for my current power station and it saved my vacation. She did not get a sale but if I am ever in that area and needed anything I would go out of my way to go to this store. The Battery Plus in Chico already had my loyalty. They are always helpful too.

I took my iPhone in for a new battery. After, there was a red notification on my Settings app on the Home Screen. The Notification was that the battery was not a genuine Apple approved battery. Went back and the ‘technician’ shrugged her shoulders and said ‘yeah, I’ve heard that happens’. I was shocked - the whole reason you go to a Batteries + Bulbs is that you are paying retail pricing for the correct item that works correctly; right? I told her it’s like you take your car to the mechanic and afterwards there is a constant red ‘check engine’ light illuminated - she looked at me like a deer in the headlights and I told her I wanted my old battery back into the device. Seriously… they should be required by their Corporate Management to disclose to customers ahead of time if they are going to be using anything other than a true and fully working replacement component.. Is it me?? Wow.

I never give reviews on anything BUT I have to say how awesome my experience with Batteries Plus was today. I've had a little box of things that I needed to be serviced. 2 tide watches, a key FOB, and some misc. electronics that needed batteries. I wholly expected to wait a day or two but it couldn've been more than 10 minutes before my items were completed. The customer service was fantastic! A well mannered and professional employee explained the pricing and showed me to the batteries that I could install myself. I absolutely plan to visit the store again for future needs and I encourage anyone else to do the same.

Been going here on and off for over 15 years on my way to My Place in Mount Hermon. II I purchased a couple of batteries for my Honda generator over the years. There's just something about the service here they always seem a little bit surly. In my opinion this is the worst store in Scotts Valley I will never go there again due to the service that I got today. I wanted to return a package of never used two pack of batteries, I asked the clerk if he could handle This he said no it would have to be done by the manager She was standing right there when I walked up and the soon as I started this transaction with the clerk she walked away. I asked this him if he could get her to come and talk to me, he informed me that she had just left for lunch. Will be back. I said OKAY fine I'll come back in So I could talk to her. When I returned, I asked to see the manager he informed me that she was working on repairing a phone in the back and it would be more than an hour before she could talk to me. I was on my way home to Sunnyvale after making a special effort to return when she was available only to be told to wait some more. She never did come out from the back the clerk didn't ask her to come out of the back. This confirmed my past experiences that service here is lousy I will never go back to the store, and I would recommend that nobody else does. AvoidThis this store at all costs!

This was my second visit to the Batteries Plus location in Scotts Valley to replace a car battery. Both of my experiences with them have been excellent! I had a very tight time-window to get the new battery installed, and was able to hop on-line late last night and not only select and purchase the battery I needed, I was able to see the times they had available this morning to install it for me. I scheduled for a 10:30AM install. When I showed up this morning, they hopped right on it, confirmed all of my information and came out to my truck did the install. The technician wasn't happy with the way the electrode bolts were tightening, so he replaced them as part of the install process. Overall, great experience! I will go back there for my next battery need.
