This is the only trustworthy mechanic I've been able to find in Santa Cruz county. Fred really knows what he's doing. I have experience with him working on all types of cars including 2000 Jetta, 2019 Jetta, 2004 Matrix and even my beast of 1997 Chevy Silverado 2500. The Silverado was a special story bc it had sat for about a year and wouldn't turn over at all anymore. But Fred was able to bring it back from the dead. Funny part is while he was working on it he found some missing pieces from the distributor cap the last guy failed to put back on. Long story short, Fred goes above and beyond for his customer and doesn't charge an arm and a leg. It sure is nice to know that there's still an honest mechanic out there. Thank you, Fred!

This is my go-to place for our car smog checks. Sometimes it's quite busy and I have to wait, but I lucked out in my timing yesterday and was in and out with my smog certificate within 20 minutes. They're professional, fast and the price is $55 out the door.

Went in for smog check and the guy I talked to in the office was not polite or welcoming in the slightest. He made comments about how he could tell I've never been there before. I waited for around 35 minutes till they called me back to the office to tell me they could not do the smog check. I would not go here if you are a young woman very unwelcoming and unhelpful.

Have to watch these guys. They are very shady call them up told me $75 after we’re all ready to go jacket up to $85 after I called him on it he proceeded to tell me to get out of his shop and never come back. great customer service right in a small town like Santa Cruz Terrible do not show up here

I've been using this place for a while now and they have really really great service, they are honest and what can I say I love it 😁
