Brought my SV650 here to get fixed up and ready to sell. Reed went through the bike thoroughly and was very upfront about everything. I'm bringing all my bikes to him from now on! Great dude with amazing service. 5 stars all day! 👌🏻
I stopped into SCMS in October 2023 for some maintenance work, new tires, and Reed hardwired my GPS. I so appreciated, as a traveler, AK to Argentina, that he made time in his schedule and I did’t have to wait. I highly recommend SCMS!
I cant recommend the guys at SCMS enough. They truly are stand up and look out for their customers. They came and got me on a holiday weekend when I lost a tire on 17. Luckily they had a tire in stock and had me back on the road in no time. If you need service or work done and are in the Santa Cruz area this is 100% the place.
Picked up my partner’s first ever bike from Reed! Could not be any happier and so is he. Best christmas present money can buy. Not only can he build a motorcycle well, he is my only stop for mods, maintenance, and repairs on all of my motorcycles. Best local shop for those of you looking with very fair prices! What is great about his shop is he will even help you find what you want and make it your own.
Reed was an amazing guy! The service was done quickly and efficiently, he and his team were extremely knowledgeable about my bike. Everyone there simply was excited to fix my bike because they wanted me to ride safely and have fun doing it. I’ll be going back to see them anytime I need to get work done on my bikes!
After storing my motorcycle for 8 years in a garage that had a river running through it when it rained, all the chrome rusted. I moved out, and decided to see if I could have it restored. I contacted Reed the owner of Santa Cruz Motorcycle Service. He picked the bike up for me, and not long after having it, had the idea to powder coat the rusted chrome, instead of replacing the parts. Brilliant! Saved a bunch of money, and I think it looks better than the original look. Jeremy over at "Powder Coat It" in Santa Cruz did that part of the job for me, and it came out amazing. Reed's attention to detail, especially in regards to making sure the bike ran correctly, all the electrical was perfect, and replaced the brake lines, and pads, put new tires on it. The thing runs like a new bike, and looks fantastic! Thanks to Reed for his patience, and diligence through the whole process. You've heard the old saying. "You get what you pay for". I'd go back in a heartbeat!
I had an Indian FTR that I got t-boned on, wanted to get it repaired. Reed has been absolutely awesome and he and his team did an amazing job getting my bike up and running. Working with him has been absolutely fantastic and he even helped me out with my other bikes. If you need any work done, I recommend his shop, 100%
I bought my first Triumph from Reed after formerly being a Harley rider. I couldn’t be happier with my decision! The experience has been a fantastic one! Reed is extremely knowledgeable & a pleasure to work with. He is a local who has been building and fixing up bikes for years & recently took over this shop. It’s nice to support someone local who is sharing great products & services! As a female rider I am very cautious about getting all the info before committing to something mechanically. This place is somewhere I’d recommend anyone come for repairs or if you’re looking for a whole awesome custom bike of your own. The shop is clean & organized. They are “straight shooters” if you will. The prices are fair & work gets done well & at a good pace. Definitely suggest checking out the place if you’re in the neighborhood! It’s right by REI & Marshall’s. You don’t even just have to take my word for it. Lots of other folks in the business recommend him too. 10/10 across the board. 🥇🙌🏆
