Almar Tire & Auto Care in Santa Cruz

So a few things, I scheduled an appointment for 2 tires and alignment. Tires went smooth, had to come back 3 different times for alignment because every time I scheduled they double booked and I showed up and they sent me away after they realized they messed up. Finally got my truck “aligned” but when I drove it, it felt exactly the same, actually was leaning to the right more and the owner was with me and said it was so slight it was fine. I just got my truck aligned at a different place and it actually feels like a proper alignment and controlled. So these guys left me driving unaligned and costed my tires to ware unevenly. Also wanted me to buy parts that were in the end unnecessary. Not much I can do now about it to make it right, just check your paperwork and make sure the work is actually done

I've had nothing but great experiences at this local shop. The people are lovely, the work is done quickly, and at a very fair price. I recently took my car back to them after having the front brakes replaced because I was hearing some unusual noises from the front end. The found the issue, fixed it even though it didn't have anything to do with the brakes, and didn't charge me at all for their time. Thank you!!

I pulled up with a tire puncture and the owners were SO friendly and helpful! Pulled, plugged, and I was on my way in less than 5 minutes. It was like a pit stop! Awesome service!

Almar Tire & Auto Care has expert mechanics who diagnosed and fixed some unusual errors on my older BMW. They have also provided truly excellent service and repairs for both that car and my partner's Subaru. Great breadth of knowledge and genuinely cheap to boot. They're completely honest, too! I won't go anywhere else now.
