City Auto Body in Santa Cruz

I can't say enough good things about City Auto and Pedro in particular. After a fender bender, I got multiple quotes from other shops that were much higher and insisted on using expensive original manufacturer parts. Pedro helped me find high-quality, affordable aftermarket options and saved me a ton. Pedro was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start. He even helped me duct tape my bumper back on temporarily while waiting for parts to arrive. The parts came in the next day, and by Friday evening, they had already painted the bumper and were ready to install it. The repair took just an hour, but Pedro told me I could leave the car overnight and even offered to let me pick it up on Saturday, even though they're normally closed. This is the kind of honest, efficient, and community-minded business you want to support. They went above and beyond for me, and I'll definitely be coming back (hopefully not too soon, though!). Highly recommend!

They know their work but i would only take an older car not new ones here. Prices are very affordable compared to many price gouging auto body places. Hard to find entrance to this page from street but big parking lot.

Francisco and his crew did a remarkable job on my 1996 Ford Ranger, which was pretty bad with rust and dents, they even did the chassis and painted the bed with a Bed liner plastic material that matched the color of my truck. I did not expect such incredible work for such a reasonable price. I thought I was getting the customary repaint job and had low expectations. Their attention to detail made it seem like they were treating it like a classic car restoration project from start to finish. I could not be happier and the work was done in the amount of time they said it would take. When I picked it up he explained the warranty on everything and said not to hesitate to bring it back if there was any problem. Best Body & Paint Shop experience I have ever had! Thanks guys! Steve

I like these guys! Straight up estimates, a spectrum of possiblities for repairs, with no BS and creepy hype. Nobody wants to go to a body shop any more than a doctor, but if you need to, you get what you ask for.

Okay so my car is at City Auto Body and I was recommended to them. I swung down to meet them and my first reaction was why like these guys. I've run car service is all over the country for the last 40 years I need you guys made me feel like I've been going there for years. The only reason for stars because I haven't got my car back yet but they just started. So week later I go in to talk to them about paint because my car's just about ready to be painted and I discussed what my desires were and they gave me some recommendations and I really liked what they said so I told him to go ahead and paint it what two colors are recommended to me. Armored car service or black is imperative I told him I wanted to do a wet black metallic. After listening to what I was thinking of for paint they came up with a suggestion I never even thought about and it sounded so good I just told him to go ahead so at this point I give him four stars because I'm waiting to see the car done but I'm very happy with what I've seen and how they've handled me I'll write another review once I pick up my car
