I went in for the smog inspection. THe office and lounge is clean and comforatable. The shop appears to be clean and organized. The staff is friendly and punctual.

Sam is so professional and nice, the shop is already closed but still attended and even gave me a discount! I will surely do other services from them from now on.

My family has taken several of our vehicles to Valencia Auto Performance over the years. Sam is an awesome mechanic - honest, efficient, friendly, and he always does a thorough job. I know that if I, or any of my children or wife, go there with an auto problem we will get the best treatment at a reasonable rate. I needed a tune up on my Mercedes SUV. I was given an appointment on the spot. Within a few hours I was given a call letting me know what I needed and the cost. The staff was courteous, caring and professional. They always done our smog inspection, now we will continue to use them for our car maintenance too.

I feel that they have been honest and doing great job on the work without taking a long time. Also some things they did with less expensive than other mechanics places. Also all the employees have been very respectful and kind.

I have brought my 2000 Jeep Wrangler here for several years. This last time it failed the first smog test but Sam diagnosed and made the repair timely and it passed on the second try.

I really like these folks. while I am uncomfortable w their non-masking in a small office/waitroom, They have a bench outside and have always been very professional, friendly and fair with us. The desk folks always greet me w a smile and not sullen, grumpy nor impertinent, are helpful and get the answers to my questions if they dont know the answer themselves. I have no complaints so far with the work they have done on my vehicles (I changed to their service maybe 10 years ago?). We have recently had a turnover in our fleet to include a deisel pickup and they have accommodated all of our minor maintenance with aplomb. Its hard to find a decent and fair mechanic in any town but we think these folks have been and are worth it. And, when the owner has been present he is on top of his shops product, seemingly to this patron, without being obstrusive. enough so that his employees seem generally happy to be there and not browbeaten and cowering, allowing them to give their best to their work. Thats our impression anyway, and refelctive of the service and product we have received. Make an appointment, or they do walkins too (we have had oil changes and smog checks with walk-in by arriving early). I dont remember if they still do, but they used to have coffee and cold water (for those hot SCV summer days) available gratis in their waitroom. And we have used their free shuttle home while they worked on a lengthy fix. Worth your business imo

All the employees are very friendly and polite. Sam is easy going and makes it clear as to what he plans to do for repairs and which parts he recommends and why. Employees also apply discounts when applicable, and I greatly appreciate that. Didn t need to find a secret offer on a social media site. As others have mentioned, shuttle service is available but they also have a spacious customer lounge. Prices are reasonable and work is done within the estimated time frame. Been getting repairs elsewhere for the past 9 years, but I ll be bringing my car here from now on. Thank you for the pleasant experience for a smog check and brake repair!

Just moved to Santa Clarita and found a shop and chose Simply Smog Valencia Auto Performance, I did not regret the decision I made. After reading the reviews I took my car to Valencia Auto Performance for a smog check that failed, Sam took care of my check engine light and had the repairs done cheaper than the previous shop who gave me a estimate. Overall I had an amazing experience at this shop and will be returning for future repairs and maintenance.

I was recently at VAP with my son s car that wouldn t start. It is a fairly new car so I wanted Sam s honest opinion before taking it back to the dealership for warranty work. Turns out the car needed a new battery. Simple fix right? But that s not all that Sam did they also do an overall inspection of the car and they called to let me know that the oil level was down and dirty and an oil change was badly needed. So, thank you for going above and beyond AGAIN! Love VAP and everyone who works there, esp Sam!

Absolutely awesome service. This was my first time getting smog done as I just moved to the state, and having no idea what to expect I pretty much would ve paid anything; however, Sam threw on a discount from a promotion that they re running without me asking. He was super friendly, and their waiting room is comfy. I was in and out in about half an hour. I d highly recommend this place for smog.

I have used this company previously when I have a vehicle that requires a smog. My 650i BMW is not used on a regular basis so I keep it attached to a trickle charger. When I went to have it smoged the car would not start. I jumped the car and eventually got it to start and off to Auto Performance. The car passed inspection but then it would not start. The efforts that Sam Farah (manager) took to restart the BMW where incredible. Using 2 portable chargers and his own vehicle the vehicle was started but when I turned it off it would not restart. Obviously the battery was dead. Sam called Valencia BMW but their Service and Parts departments were closed. He then called a connection and had a new battery delivered which he installed for much less than BMW would have charged. We then learned the ignition key was dead so Sam offered to drive me home (10 miles) for my spare key. I have never had such a positive experience with a business in my 75 year life. Sam Farah is an incredible guy, I cant thank him enough!

I was charged $35 to put on a spare tire

The first time we went here, it was a walk-in appointment. Sam was very nice to assist us right away. Did diagnostic of the car noise problem. He found out it was my brake pads at the rear side. Got the repair done. And price asked was reasonable. He s really a good mechanic that is there willing to help anyone without taking advantage/ asking high price/ advising service without need as compared to other places who does that. The second time I came, I thought I will need repair for brake pads at the front, Sam was there, and said he can fit me in (coz i did a walk-in again, supposedly, next appointment available is 3 days from that time). Sam was nice to me to assist me right away. Checked my brake pads and said no need for repair. He even offered tire rotation without extra fee.. These days, where would you get that excellent service for Auto needs? It will be only at Valencia Auto Performance I m so glad we found this gem!

This is my go-to place for smog testing. I m usually in and out within a half hour and the customer waiting area is clean and comfortable. There s usually some sort of discount coupon to be found online that makes the testing quite affordable.

I can t say enough about what a positive experience I had. I noticed a noise coming from the right side of my car, they got me in the same day, diagnosed it and were able to do the repair! This was also on a Saturday, which was amazing and sooo appreciated!! 5 star service 100%!!

Staff is the best. Prices are good and turn around is great.!

You setup appointment online. They then text you later that that appt time is not available. I setup appt online, took day off for simple oil change, then received text that time slot was not available for at least another week. I contacted shop and was told that a confirmation email was needed to reserve time slot. My question is, why even bother booking online if the time slots are never available Poor, poor, processes...lost a customer as I found another shop !

They took me as a walk-in without issues. I was done in under 30-minutes and on my way home.

I had a really great experience with Sam while smogging my 1988 Pontiac Fiero. He was very helpful and explained everything throughout the whole process. He did a great job and Id recommend anyone who has a pre-OBD vehicle to give this place a chance - ask for Sam! Ill definitely be back.

Smogged my truck, nice waiting room and staff. Office staff offered water to us. The reason for the 4 stars was wait time about an hour. Im ok with it but, have never waited over 25 minutes. They didnt mention time so I just figured 15 to 20min.

These guys made it really easy to get in and out for your smog check. The staff was incredibly nice and the prices were explained and I didnt feel like I was getting over charged. When you go to a service with experts in something you know nothing about all you can do is hope they arent screwing you over. I never felt that way with Simply Smog. The waiting room was clean and had free sodas for everyone. The whole process of an oil change and smog check took less that an hour even with people waiting. They also do all car service repair and maintenance so you can go to them for smog but also tires oil and other services. They deserve the ratings they have on yelp.

Got here at 10:05 for an appointment at 10 was running a little late, the first front desk lady was very nice she had orange hair and applied a discount for me and explained what I was here for just a regular car service so that was good and the only reason I added another star. But they wanted to replace my air filters so I was hesitant but agreed to. And then a little after about 20 minutes later the owner (it looked like it) came into the waiting room asking for MY car model and I said yes he said these other two air filters are dirty. Which confused me because I don t know much about cars but I was sure there were only 2. It just seemed like he wanted to charge me more for the service than what I originally came for. I went and asked to see where each filter was and then they switched the story and said that was for an owner of another car. And my car less than a year owned and they told me my car battery already needs to be replaced because it died when they tried to start it up and they had to jump it. I have been driving this car everyday Its super odd that it just happens to break down when they suddenly drive it. Which I actually saw them drive it off without having to do any of that. Overall disappointed to come here and feel like they re trying to cheat me out of my money just because I m a young woman who doesn t know much about cars. Take your money somewhere else that can tell you exactly whats wrong with your car and why.

Although I am not fan of mechanics, but people in this shop particularly manager changehd my thinking. They performed high class job for modest fee. The office and waiting room is exceptional as well. This is the place to go worry free.

Came to Valencia after a little accident on the I-5 N, we explained our situation and asked if he could help us out, he looked at our car and honestly told us he can t get the work done but immediately offered us a safe place to keep our car and referred us to a great body shop (Nam body shop) who got our claim down and took care of everything for us. Very grateful we found this business. Very kind and caring owner. Thank you for all your help and helping us get home.

As usual, they did a fine job. I have a variety of old & unusual cars and they have always been able to take care of me. When one of my cars doesnt pass the smog test, they provide good advise so that I can get make the corrections needed to be able to pass the test when I return. Sam is especially helpful and knowledgeable.

Oil change went fast. You guys did recommend a new filter for my Accord which I did myself. When I went to unscrew the 4 bolts two of them were broken off. I can t really blame you guys but if you did check to see that a new air filter was required it seems your technician could have broken them off. No big deal. It would just be nice to be informed that the bolts were broken if that was the case

Called ahead. Set up a convenient time when not to busy. My Silverado was taken right in and smog check performed. Renewed my DMV regs. next day. Only took around 15 minutes. Top notch waiting area, very friendly and courteous. Price is fair. Likely will always use Valencia Auto for this service for both our vehicles.

Went for a smog test. Nice place.

Took my Prius in because the heat plate was torn off by people trying to still my Cat converter. Sam and his guys were really nice and helpful got the plate put back on and showed me what happened. Really appreciate these guys, would recommend bringing any car to them.

When I dropped my vehicle off in the morning and Sam called back shortly with an evaluation of the brakes repairs needed and front axels replacement. Early afternoon, when I came into the shop, Sam showed me my old brakes and my damaged front axles. Very professional job done with a level of integrity that I haven t experienced prior to coming to Valencia Auto Performance!
