Will rip you off on parts. Dishonest. Don't trust them go somewhere else. "We have never done any business." And you would know that based off of what? My J. O Google account name? I'm specifically talking about you SC Auto Air. Stop inflating part prices and taking advantage of people. That simple.
Absolutely the best place to take your car to to get the air conditioning fixed. I went in with my car that hadn’t run in about 10 years. They found the problem and fixed it later. The next day the car blew a different line and I brought it there and they fixed it right away. Great people fair prices the way Santa Clarita used to be.
Chris got the job done in 1 day! Very pleased! So far so good and my air conditioner is finally working!
Came early Monday morning hoping they would be able to repair my ac that day (we are in a heat wave). Left the car for them to inspect/ diagnose the issue. Received the call and was told the issue and that they would be able to get the repair done that day! They did and I am a happy camper! Thanks Chris and crew at SC auto air.
Chris and his Crew are the best in the area hands down!! I won’t ever go to anyone else in town and I’m from Texas & Montana. I had recommendations from three different friends in town and all were SC Auto Air and they said how awesome Chris & his Crew are. I don’t know Chris and I’m not a buddy or friend so my response is straight out of respect for the damn good job and really fair price he fixed my F 350 Dually’s air issues. They’re definitely the best!!
I recently had my vehicles AC stop producing cold air so I brought it to SC Auto Air (as a repeat customer) to have them refill it. Upon their initial diagnosis, they found a leak to be assumed from the compressor itself. I was quoted the repair and went on my way as funds weren’t ready yet. I brought it back when I had the funds for the quoted repair. Well, to my surprise, it ended up being a leak that was way cheaper than the compressor itself. They could have sold me the quoted compressor job and pocketed the money and I would have known any different. The honesty and integrity is above reproach and has sold me on using SC Air for any of my needs.
Chris and the crew at SC Auto Air are great to work with, they do quality work for a good price with excellent communication as well. Pretty much every part of my 4Runner’s 30 year old AC system needed replacement and they got the work done quickly. I’ll be returning for any AC and other mechanical work needed.

After reading all the reviews from Santa Clarita valley residents I decided to take my truck to SC Auto Air. 2006 Ram 3500 stopped blowing cold on a recent dirt bike riding trip to Ridgecrest area. Turned out compressor had stopped working. One day service, took truck in on a Tuesday 8 am truck done and blowing cold air by 11 am next day.

I ve done a lot of work on my own vehicles over the years. It s apparent to me when someone really knows what they are doing. They were reasonable and had everything finished in one day even though my 28 year old Land Cruiser needed a lot. It s unbelievable how well the AC works now. Guess I d gotten used to it being weak for many years.

These guys are the best!!! They have serviced the AC on several of my vehicles over the years and I refuse to take them to anyone else. Every time one of my vehicles has gone in, it comes out cooling better than I remember it cooling when it left the dealer as a brand new car.

They evacuated and charged my new AC system. I installed a Vintage Air AC system into my old truck, and these guys put the magic inside for me. It blows so cold now! Night drop-off made the process so much easier for me. Filled out info on an envelope and dropped my keys it their door. Work completed next day. Perfect.

I took my van these jerks on Friday the 6th 2018, my AC works ok, but I asked for an estimate to replace a hose. He calls me a couple hours later, tells me I need new hoses, new compressor, basically a whole new system. 1154$ I said I didn t have money to spend like that. Then he says You can take your chances and to do the hose it would be 469$. I said that a lot for a hose and offered to pay him for the estimate. 48$ I go and pick up the van. The AC does not work at all. I come back and I tell the assistant it doesn t work now and it did when I brought it here 2 hours ago. I took my van to another shop, they put the gauges on my AC- BONE DRY. The guy at SCV auto air stole my freon. Stole My Freon I go back to SCV on Monday, the guy is back. He told me that he took my freon out so it wouldn t leak. Whiskey Tango Foxtrot When he was caught, he offered to put it back. I said it was too late for that. He then offered my money back.
This guy is a wizard :) Went to several places and all of them were unable to find the problem with my a/c let alone a solution, This guy it took him less than 2 hours to find the problem and fix it. Definetly would recommend and will return as a customer :) Thanks Again !

Had Compressor replaced a few years ago on older Durango, work was done professionally and a very fair price. I typically use another shop for general repair but this is the only shop I will take my AC work to.
Also wont go back. Reconnected my alarm system backwards and I had to pay another mechanic to fix it. The new mechanic confirmed that it was installed incorrectly. Also not very honest about repair work done. Very disappointed as we just moved into the area and were looking for an honest repairman.
Dishonest and rude experience. My car air conditioner went out so I went in to get it checked out. He hooked it up to his equipment and within 2 minutes told me the compressor had a crack or hole because he couldnt pressurize it. This meant I needed a whole new a/c. He charged me the $48 diagnostic fee but it didnt bother me because I was told it would be applied towards any related repairs I did there. I was told the out the door cost for parts and labor would be $850 to replace the a/c and recharge the system. I prefer to buy my own parts so I can ensure I get the best price and warranty so I asked how much it would cost if I provided my own a/c. I was told $250 plus refrigerant. I came back a few days later with my own a/c and had them install it. When it came time to pay I was charged about $60 more than what I was quoted. I asked (who apparently is the owner) Did you apply the $48 towards my invoice? To which he replied No, you didnt do the job with us. Hmmm....Im not sure what his definition of job so I asked what? He said you bought your own parts so it doesnt count. Sure buddy, no problem. I hope the $48 was worth the review you just got. Keep the change, youll never get my business again.
