Couldn’t be happier with the service here…. I brought my Tesla here since its a Tesla Approved Service Center ( now i know why ) absolutely great work…..The work came out like it was never in an accident… they were great in communication, on time and everything went very smoothly.. Reynaldo was my service advisor kept me in the loop from start to finish… hopefully ill nvr have to come here again but if i do im definitely bringing my car here again! This place is impressive all around. I came in because my Tesla Model Y had a slight bend in the back door, a common issue with this model due to alignment problems. This misalignment can be really frustrating, but the staff told me they see it and can fix it quickly and easily. The staff and mechanics were professional and kind from start to finish. They even cleaned the exterior of my car before giving it back to me. The pricing was very fair, and the quality of their work was excellent. While I was there, I looked at some of the other projects they were working on. These mechanics are like artists doing bodywork. They take cars that look like they should be scrapped and bring them back to life. I hope I never need more car repairs, but if I do, I know exactly where to go and how great I'll feel when I leave. It's nice to feel good after getting car work done.
Gene's did a great job replacing the hinges and fixing gaps on my Tesla Model Y rear hatch. On time, friendly, did exactly what they said they’d do. Tesla paid for the repair under warranty but I thought their costs were very reasonable. Competent staff, knowledgeable, busy; a well run business IMO.
Careless! I brought my Tesla for estimate and repair on 05/04 I called three weeks later and no one ordered the parts then I checked a few weeks later the lady said she ordered but has no tracking number and she will update us when she gets one, never heard back from her again today 07/07 we called again and were told that the parts hasn’t been ordered yet. The insurance has approved the claim long time ago but even that I had to call and ask about it for them to submit the claim. Terrible service and poor communication.
Excellent service but the wait is very long. Had my Tesla repaired here twice and I'm very happy with the quality! They're just so busy as one of the only Tesla Certified places in town that it could take you months to get an appointment for minor repairs, or the same amount if your vehicle wasn't drivable. Luckily for us, both times our vehicle was drivable while we waited to get in. They are expanding their shop currently so I suspect this problem is only temporary.
It was a bit of a rough start with a lost appointment and a delay in the start of my body work. It must have been just my luck, because moving forward working with this shop I have to say I am completely satisfied with the experience. They did fantastic work, like new. They even went beyond my expectations and cleaned up the plastic trim on my vehicle and returned it cleaner than I left it. In the midst of a new year and a growing pandemic/variant, they delivered excellent service in a timely manner. I left a harsh review initially but I'm completely redacting that review based on my final results and service. Great work!

Only place I trust. They repair our Audi and Mercedes when needed. They come back like it never happened you cant tell any body work was done that is how it should be unfortunately most places are not like that

Worst customer service ever.
I made a call to the office and I asked for the address of the place the women at the office refused to give me the address. All I asked was for the address and when I went there wanted to talk to the manager they said she doesn t want to talk to you! One person named Jess said get out of the office we will not serve you I felt I have been discriminated against. I will not recommend this place to anyone at all
Okay, so Im reading some of the reviews, and as a local girl, born and raised, Genes comes highly recommended. After getting smashed with a hit and run, Genes fixed my front bumper, hood, etc. They perfectly blended the new paint to match my BMWs classic Mystic Blue color. Then, those darn high parking bumpers snagged and nearly pulled off my front bumper! My fiancé was worried about bringing it back bc its not part of the original work and its been a few months. But the front desk was courteous and she called out one man who went and got the owner. The owner was immediately on it! He brought out a guy who fixed it, and he showed us how we could avoid those high bumpers in the future. PLUS!!! They didnt charge us a dime for what was our fault. So, unlike what some reviews are saying, Genes DOES CARE about the community and our cars! They take pride in their work! I will go to them for any future auto body needs. Thank you all so much!
Returned to Genes as I had dealt with Jared a year ago and was very accomodating. This time around I went to ask about a repair that I needed and Bill did not even bother to get out of his chair to answer the question. I was told, through another lady from Bill, to come back in an hour when the receptionist would return from lunch and schedule an appointment. That is not what my question was. Business must be to good to blow off a potential custom like that. Took my business elsewhere and got my 1 question answered immediately.
Im a local and was recently hit by someone on the highway. I drive a little base model Fiat and when I went to Genes Auto Body I was treated so specifically and carefully. The work was spotless. When I looked into the work area it was the whos who of Auto Body here in town. That tells me its a good place to work, the employees are paid correctly and that a business like Genes, thats been around since I was a child deserves to be here. If ever I need to, I will return most definately. They did what they said they were going to do, they always called me back and were endlessly polite and professional.
The estimator I spoke with was very nice and helpful, however the front desk lady was not helpful. She insisted on me using a link on my phone to sign up for an estimate. I tried it and the software is set up for body damage and can not work with windshields. So I asked if I can stop by the earliest available appointment was March 8. How long does it take to see the a windshield needs to be looked at to say yes it needs to be replaced? If you can t accommodate me you don t deserve my business!! Post COVID it appears that most businesses care to accommodate customers. As consumers we need to push back and let them know we deserve better!

Genes did a great job of repairing and repainting the nasty chip in the front bumper of my Corvette. It was finished on time at a competitive price.

Ownership and Management does not care about anyone or anything but themselves and the money they make. Questionable integrity and honesty.
I can attest to these guys doing an outstanding job with two vehicles that I brought to them. My most recent experience was with my Alpha Romeo that took a hit in a grocery store parking lot. Genes was able to care for the damage and make it like new. The greatest thing was their customer service which I will say is second to none.

We had Genes repair our BMW. A hit and run driver dented and deep scratched the driver side front and rear doors. We shopped the repair cost with three body shops in our area and even though Genes wasnt the least expensive, they were the most professional and prepared the best proposal. When I arrived to pick up our car after the body work repair they quickly noticed that the work wasnt done right before i noticed it and they were not only apologetic but they made it right for us. If you expect to get what you pay for, treated professionally and you expect the best then I recommend Genes Import Auto Body. I hope we dont have to use their services anytime soon and if we do, I wouldnt hesitate to use them again. Very good people!

One of the best body shops in California, I cant say enough about the crew of this shop. Especially Ray Stevens, quality work and on time. When I got my car back from them it was better than new.
My daughters car was in an accident. Genes went BEYOND what was expected and gave us back a car that looked better than before the accident.
So I called to see if these guys could paint my hood. An older woman answered and I explained I needed my car hood painted. she asked me to bring the car in so they could match the paint, but since the hood was off the car I said they didnt need to match the color and that I needed to get a simple hood painted black. she then replied with a we only do quality work here, I recommend taking it to another shop! WOW.. I cant believe she brushed me off like that ..., so I guess my money isnt good enough there! BAD...The worst customer service iv ever encountered!
