Wheel Works in San Mateo

They treated me very well. I showed up as a walk-in with a flat tire. They located the invisible puncture that, unfortunately, was not repairable. They replaced the tire, which was still under warranty, and sent me on my way. I'm grateful that they got the work done so quickly.👍

Excellent service!! Highly recommended!! I had a sudden flat tire that could not be driven on and needed my tire patched. I did not have an appointment and it was towards the end of the day when they were about to close, and they kindly squeezed me in knowing I was in a bind. Thanks so much to the team there, I really appreciate it.

Michael and his team are the best. I have been to 4 different tire/car shops recently and this place was the only one that was able to resolve professionally the mess that another shop caused by installing faulty Bridgestone tires 3 months ago. The place is busy and also well run, the time estimate given was how long they needed. They were able to process my Bridgestone warranty issue smoothly and also provided explanations and advice that makes me confident to trust them for any future tire needs or concerns. Thank you!

Steven was extremely helpful and accommodating. He offered to have the tech stay later to finish my job if I did not arrive on time to finish before normal closing time, since it was an urgent situation and I needed to have my tire replaced before embarking on a 40 minute ride home. The job was finished very quickly, and my tire was replaced for 1/3 of what it would have cost me had I not purchased the tire originally from Wheelworks with their extended service plan. I will always purchase my tires at this location in San Mateo, as I have always gotten excellent service here.

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment online for a 5 PM alignment. I called the shop and Stephen told me to come in at 4 PM so that my alignment would be done by 6 PM when they close. I showed up at 4 PM. At 5:30, my car was still sitting in the parking lot and no one had given me an update. I left rather than have them do a rush job. Losers.

The work ethic of both Michael and GG are to be commended! They work very well together and consistently keep the customer in the loop regarding their progress. Kudos to all!!

Well. I came to this location a year ago,they were doing well,but today I came in for an appointment at 1pm for the wheel alignment,they did not start working on my car until 1hour and half later,and when they finally drove my car in,it only took them about 5 minute to check me out for this alignment. The front desk was unfriendly,being told by the men at front that nothing needed this time. I was confused but just left right away. Later I tried to call them to figure out why,first the lady who picked up the phone did not answer my question and hanged up on me which was unprofessional. Then I called back again to get the reason why,the lady told me it could be due to my hitting a pothole which realigned my wheels,the reason sounded lame to me,it gave me the intention that they did not really work on my car at all. Because everytime there for an alignment it would not take just 5minutes,I have not had the alignment for a year now. And this time I did not get a printout as usual.Also I never received the email copy from the lady who promised to email to me. And I had to spend the time to drive all the way there again get the paper printout. It’s quite an unpleasant experience to spend the whole afternoon doing this,probably I need to do another alignment at another Wheel Work store to learn the truth.

Replaced 4 brand new tires matching with Costco price were approved, done bleeding brakes cylinder’s all of them, full synthetic oil and Alignments, were done great job, great Mike customer service. Good people to deal with most of the time.
