Paul and his team are the reason I have made 3 vehicle purchases there. Knowledgeable and courteous and always on top of your issue from a basic oil change to a full transmission replacement. These guys know what they are doing. Keep up the great work.
Willie is amazing!! He is very helpful and communicative with all the details pertaining to what my vehicle needed. Every concern I expressed he looked into without disregard. Thank you for taking care me and my expedition :-)
Disappointed with service center. They ordered parts for recall many months ago but never contacted me to come in to have the recall work done. Just brought car in for oil change early in AM and they said it would take up to 5 hours to do oil change and door fix of recall. When I called in late afternoon to inquire if car ready, I could only leave voicemails. Repeated that two more times over next 90 minutes. No one ever called back. Finally got woman on phone in service. She put me on hold and never came back. Finally got service mgr at 4:30 and he said car would not be ready till late following morning.
Brought my Maverick for "The Works" oil change. Because of the need of 100% synthetic oil, there was an extra charge. I should have clarified that ahead of time. I was in and out in about 2 hours. Pleasant waiting area in the showroom. The sales people got off my back after I told them I'm here just for service. Also, unfortunately wasn't able to meet Sam or Jasmine of the Internet Sales since it was their day off.
This was my first and last time using this service center for my Ford. All the balls were dropped. I had my car towed in the afternoon for a simple check on the battery system. They said they'd get to it the next day. Got an email with a 7:40am appointment time, meaning they knew who I was, what car was mine, and the reason for it being towed there. When I had heard from no one by 12pm that next day, I called for an update. I was told my advisor wasn't available, that my car had been taken back to service, but that they didn't have any update yet. When I still received no word by 5:30pm, I called again and spoke to my advisor, Owen. He told me a very different story. Said he was glad I called because they were wondering who's car had been towed in and why. He blamed "a new porter" who was supposed to get customer info for tow drop offs but failed to do so. He apologized, but that didn't reverse the fact that I was out of a vehicle for three days for no reason. Then he went on to tell me that he could check the battery, but if it wasn't bad, the process to determine what might be the electrical issue causing the battery to drain would be a lengthy (1-2 weeks) process. They finally got to my car on the third day, battery fine. They charged it and I picked it up. I've had Fords for 20 years, but this the last one. I'm trading it in.
The Service from Tom was excellent. The process needs to be improved. I should have qualified for a Rental, immediately, instead it took several days, I was without a vehicle and then when I finally qualified there were several wasted hours getting and returning the car.
I was concerned that my repair would be expensive, time intensive, and possibly extended to include services that would not really be necessary at this time. I was wrong. Owen at the Ford Store listened carefully and understood what we had already done, checked and corroborated what we needed to have done, and made sure the work was completed at a reasonable cost, as soon as was possible. We will definitely be back the next time service is needed for this vehicle.
I decided to get a last minute oil change on a holiday and the Ford Store still took care of my service in a timely manner. I even received a complimentary uber service while a waited for my car to be serviced. As always, everyone treated me like a valuable customer. I did not buy my Ford from the Ford Store in San Leandro. I will continue to have my service done there and maybe looking to buy my next car. Full disclosure, I have not dealt with the sales staff yet. This is my first Ford, first truck. My previous car was a luxury car and the general service I receive at the Ford Store has been on par if not better.
