Had a flat tire and chose this shop over the one closest to me because of the great reviews—and I’m so glad I did. The owner was able to order a new tire and get it changed the same day, even without an appointment. The whole process was super straightforward, and I really appreciated that. I’ll definitely come back here for any future tire needs or oil changes.

I stopped by Kim’s Tires and Automotive Shop today, which is conveniently near my home. It came highly recommended by a nearby business I frequent for oil changes, and they specifically mentioned that Kim’s is one of the most reliable, honest, and trustworthy mechanics they know in the area. I originally came in because I had a flat tire and needed a replacement, but I also had a broken lug nut stud from changing to my spare. While asking around for price quotes, I got a range of estimates, but some didn’t seem experienced enough to handle the issue properly. The problem started when Costco installed my tires—they had over-tightened the lug nuts, causing the nuts to become stuck and forcing the studs to be broken off to change a tire. Lesson learned about shopping for deals when the mechanics aren’t always familiar with your car brand. When I brought my car in, James discovered that not only was the lug nut stud on my flat tire damaged, but another one on my front tire studs was stuck as well. Since my car has all-wheel drive, it’s generally recommended to replace all four tires at once, which was an unexpected expense. However, James gave me a very fair price on new tires and was upfront about the labor costs. What impressed me most was that he initially quoted me a specific timeframe for each repair, but he actually got both jobs done in half the time—without any extra charges. I came in the late morning, and by the afternoon, everything was completed as promised. I’m very satisfied with their service and highly recommend them. I’ll definitely be using them again but hopefully not too soon. lol Also, for Cybertruck owners—James mentioned they can patch and replace Cybertruck tires, something other shops like Wheels Works couldn’t do due to lacking the right tools. Just a heads-up for anyone looking for that service!

we have brought our cars to James Kim for years. my dad was a race car driver and he inherently trusted James and we are SO grateful to have such a dependable, fair, honest, kind, generous person/team to help take care of our cars. When I told my roommate I was charged $39 for a pin hole in this tire repair store.Roommate said they took advantage of me, bullied me a lady doesn't understand the market rate, they even want to take cash and not give me a receipt. The normal market charge is between 20 and 25. $86 for do an oil change in another store , but$39 for only a tire spike in this store. They are not sincere with their customers, I will not come back.Make sure you go there you know the market price.

I've bought 2 sets of tires from Kim's and even though the first set didn't last as long as they were supposed to (which was probably due to the way I drive. Hard and fast) their customer service and the warranty they offer when you purchase 4 tires are fantastic and made me want to go back to them for the second set!!!! They are always extremely helpful when I've called. And They have quick service!

We love this place when we came the owner immediately approached. Us try to give us the best fastest service possible and we noticed that he did that to everyone. This place is highly recommended if you ever need to fix your tire come here.
