Goodyear Auto Service Centers are full-service tire and automotive repair stores wholly owned and operated by the Goodyear Tire & Rubber Company.
Came into this shop to get my barely 6 months old tires rotated left with a misaligned steering wheel. These guys either do not know what they are doing or temper with alignment, don't have any other explanation.
The staff who answered my call on 11/21/24 at 12:11pm was extremely rude. I asked a few questions regarding tire rotation. First of all, I'm not a car person, so I did not know it's called tire rotation instead mistakenly said tire flip/switch. He immediately dismissed me and said Goodyear doesn't offer that service, but the way he replied was very condescending. And when I finally asked how long was the wait time, he initially said 1.5 hours (I believe), then I asked again for a clarification and he increased it to 4.5 hours. And then 5.5 hours. Will get my tires rotated at Bruce's instead (who patiently and respectfully answered my questions.)
I recently had an outstanding experience at this Goodyear location! Mark and John went above and beyond to help me with my car, providing top-notch service. Their attention to detail and expertise were impressive, and they made sure everything was done perfectly. The customer service was exceptional from start to finish, and I truly felt taken care of. I highly recommend this place to anyone in need of car services. Great job, team!
The service from the team was beyond awesome and amazing. I will make this my go to Auto Repair Shop for myself and family needs. Thank you for helping resolve all my car issues. You saved me a bundle and repairs was done promptly. Best regards. Thank you much.
John ( the manager) and his staffs DOESN'T even have Basic knowledge you should not mix different types of tires on the same axle. They need to be replace IMMEDIATELY for public safety. They previously rotated a low tread tire from the front to the rear. The car was fishtailing during the rain. I almost lost control and had an accident. I had to bring the car back today and wasted another 2 hours to get the tire replaced. I will be taking legal action. I would not trust them to service my car for my safety. According to NHTSA guidelines, you should not mix different types of tires on the same axle; meaning, if you need to replace tires on one axle, always install a pair of identical tires on that axle, regardless of whether they are different from the tires on the other axle. [1, 2, 3] Key points about mixing tires: [1, 2, 3] • Same axle, same tires: To maintain proper handling and safety, ensure the tires on the same axle are always matched in terms of size, construction, and tread pattern. [1, 2, 3] • Different axles, potential variation: While you can potentially mix tire brands or tread patterns between the front and rear axles, it's best to ensure they are as similar as possible in performance characteristics. [1, 4, 5] • Check your vehicle manual: Always consult your vehicle's owner's manual for specific tire recommendations and any limitations regarding mixing tires. [1, 2, 6] Why is mixing tires on the same side not recommended? [2, 3, 5] • Uneven wear: Different tires can wear at different rates, leading to inconsistent handling and potential safety hazards. [2, 3, 5] • Impact on stability: Mismatched tires can affect your vehicle's stability, especially during cornering or sudden maneuvers. [2, 5, 7] • Reduced traction: Different tread patterns can lead to varying levels of grip on the road, affecting traction control. Don't bother making inline appointments, they don't bother to let you know what times are *actually* available. Ordered a tire online plus scheduled an installment. It took them two and a half hours to even *begin* the job because multiple people all scheduled service at the *exact* same time, leading me to be late for work.
Bought new tires and a few months later an unrepairable tear with no warranty. New replacement then another flat… and then a complete replacement on a new motorcycle tire after two weeks (same time frame last year, 2023). Note: to self from now on, getting the warranty!!! Mark is good to deal with but he is in Los Gatos now. Thank you Mark!
I called them to check on a tire price. The person I spoke with, I think his name was Steve, gave me a high price. So I said, 'I found the same tire at Walmart for much cheaper than your price.' He replied, 'We sold the Goodyear name to Walmart, and they make their own tires!' Then he hung up the phone on me. What kind of customer service is this?
