Had to pay $325 for loosening the frozen tire bolts. Edit: I got a reply on this review asking to call the service center to resolve the issue. I called on the same day and no adviser was available to talk. I was told the I would receive a call back. It’s been 3 days I still haven’t received a call. Worst customer service!

$299 for a diagnostics test. The amount is not subtracted from your repair is just a $300 fee to connect a device to your car that tells you what's wrong with it, a service that you can get free at AutoZone. A total rip-off. I called them about my backup camera not working. About a week later, the camera started working by itself. I would have paid $300 for absolutely nothing. This is not the first time that I've gotten jacked up prices from this place now. Mercedes-Benz in Fremont is starting to do the same thing. They tell you one price over the phone when you get there it's two or three thousand dollars more than what they quoted over the phone. There's a reason why Mercedes-Benz stock is dropping. I sold all of my MB stock. Also, look at the picture of the crew at Mercedes-Benz in Fremont. There is not one black person in the picture. They really think people don't notice that. If you're not part of the white hispanic click. You can't get a job at Mercedes-Benz in Fremont. I will never buy a car there again, nor will I get my car serviced there again. I take my car to AAA. They do an excellent job for a quarter of the price.

I experienced excellent customer service throughout the repair process. The repairs were explained to me in great detail, and I was offered a variety of repair and payment options. From start to finish, I received regular updates, and any additional findings were promptly reported. The job was exceptionally well done. I brought my car in with damaged rims, and the photos clearly show the amazing restoration. The rims now look pristine and brand new.
One of the best car showrooms ever. I’ve been here to service my uncles car and their response is amicable and fast. Their lounge is also big and with good coffee machines. They also have a small merchandise shop for people to shop. We got the car in a day as there were no major damages. Their cars display was also really good.

I posted three years ago regarding extended warranty refund. Unfortunately, I m still riding this review. I haven t received any thing regarding warranty refund. Couple of times I heard finance department submitted the request of warranty refund. I really need my money back. I hope they do some special action towards this issue.
Bill has been taking care of my Sprinter maintenance and service since 2012. Always a Pro, Courteous and thinks out of the box, I have a service advisor that I can count on, realiably like sunrise and sunset.
I just serviced my car at Mercedes San Jose location. Service advisor Jose P is great! Everything went well. Car wash not so good. Overall recommend San Jose Mercedes way better than Stevens creek Mercedes!!! No comparison!

Mark was extremely easy and straightforward to work with. He made me a satisfied customer and glad that we have a Mercedes vehicle. Well gladly return when the car needs servicing in the future.
This was my first experience with this location of Mercedes. I have had my Mercedes 10 years and have had many dealer /shop experiences. This service center exceeded my expectations on every level. The intake was efficient. Uber arrived 3 minutes later to take me home. I heard from the service tech 3 times in the first day. I was consistently statused and picked my car up at the agreed time. Issue with service department at Mercedes Benz of San Jose located at 3000 E Capitol Expressway, San Jose CA 95148. Service experience with service advisor Anthony Lorenzo today was very negative. The sprinter 2500 sat at the service department From 9:30am to 3:00pm without any technician even touching it. The vehicle was brought in for warranty work with a malfunction on the rear sliding step. The service advisor would not return calls after 2.5 hr wait for a status update on the vehicle. Service manager Hannah Welsh said that the appointment is only for the vehicle to be brought in to the service area to stand in line and that the vehicle may not be look at until 1.5 to 2 days later depending on work load. From the customer standpoint, this is very frustrating as it defeats the purpose of having an appointment for the service. I need the vehicle for work. I do believe that Mercedes Benz is a great product and should be backed up by excellent after-sale service! Please contact me to see how I can set up a service appoint where I can have the vehicle looked at on that date.

My order was to replace the tires with new ones. The replaced tires are of different make. I will never have tires replaced at your place.
My annual service is always fast and easy. They not only serviced the car and even washed it when it was done but the person in the parts dept also replaced my fob battery for free. I even noticed they replaced the windshield wiper blades. Anthony the service agent was very accommodating and made sure i got my car back on time.

I went to this dealership by tow truck to get my tire replaced. My tire was covered under warranty but yet I was told to pay for a charge of $602 without being told what the charges was. I was also not given an invoice either. I kept calling every day to speak with a manager and I was given the run around and being told the manager is unavailable or will call back. I have called throughout the day for 3 weeks. I would not recommend this dealership to get your car fixed or serviced. I have bought many Mercedes from here but will never buy or get my car serviced here again

went for the annual service/maintenance of my car. the engineer was extremely professional. i also requested a loaner which was really helpful. they were able to service my car the same day but gave me an option to pick it up the following day so that gave me more flexibility. overall great experience!
Came to service for a software issue. Software got updated, but did not know what was fixed. After software update, driving is smoother and consuming less battery energy. Hope service could explain what got changed because I did feel differences during driving. Response to pedal is slower. And slow down faster after you release the pedal

Excellent experience. Used car purchase, 2021 Honda Ridgeline pickup truck. Actual sale was pretty effortless. Aftersale repair of a small windshield problem and I did not notice before purchase was taken care of without cost or delay. I would definitely use these guys again if I become part of the Mercedes buying public.
I have a 2018 GLC300 and purchased prepaid service up to 6yr. Its lower mileage due to the pandemic, just around 48k. When I purchased service, the advisor told me the break pad is included in the last service but actually not when I did it. The battery is low a few weeks after the service, and I choose to use aaa battery since MB battery is double the price. The battery warning sign show up a few weeks later and I bring in, I have to pay $300 to diagnose the issue, and advisor said I need OEM battery, so I agreed to install from MB since I need use the car to drive a friend to somewhere, the same battery warning sign come back in 3 days and I bring the car to MB again, then the advisor told me, that 2 lines for recharging mismatch by aaa, which I highly doubt it, MB technician do the same connections and no prove that aaa did wrong. So the wrong diagnosis make me replace a good battery which totally unnecessary, and I can t return aaa battery since it s actually good. I also doubt how the car could work with wrong battery connection. Does not sound right to me and I doubt if issue may pop up again after some time. The number provided in the response is the number to book appointment, not general manager.
There are lots of problems here but the biggest problem is that there is nobody accountable. You are assigned an associate and left to find them. Nobody can answer questions or is empowered to help me. Its ridiculous and wastes my time.

Amazing experience. I gave my car for full detailing and it had a lot of dog hair. When I received the car it was impeccably clean. They also resolved a tire pressure on one of the real vehicles.

I ve had a handful of experiences with the service department at this location. Each has been above and beyond my expectations. The summary video I get sent from the technician while videoing my vehicle is a huge bonus. They show me the areas they ve reviewed and highlight any concerns, where applicable. When the situation changes and they need my car longer, they worked with me on providing a loaner car which life a lot easier. They are a very professional team and pleasant to work with. It s clear to see their culture is very customer centered.

This is for a van service, which is a whole different team from the automotive service team. Bill, the van service advisor is Great. Youll be in good hands. The store itself (including restrooms) is spotlessly clean. What disappointed me this visit is that much of the outdoor seating has disappeared. Because the service advisors fully engage with each customer, occasionally one has to wait for the previous customer to finish their checklist for their service appointment. Unfortunately the nice benches where customers could wait their turn have been disappeared. One can stand, leaning against the wall. Or interrupt to announce ones presence and discuss where to wait. Note to management: not everyone wants to sit indoors listening to other customers chat on the phone, be irritated by the always on tv, and during cold and flu season share, cooties with all the other customers. Comfortable, sheltered outdoor seating is part of a welcoming dealership here in our mild California climate.

For example, on our last service he determined our rear 2 tires were worn past the point of safety. Our service representative is a valuable asset to MBZ Inc. overall. We have driven MBZ models for the past 40 years and dealt with many good service advisors. Moreover we are a busy couple and often don t have time to complete surveys. Since we plan to continue buying and driving MBZ models we feel it s appropriate to provide feedback on behalf of the manufacturer and their staffing. We freely rate Mr. Salinas on a scale of 1 to 10, a 10 . Because of his technical knowledge and friendly customer service manner, even when the company is extremely busy! It was my first time dropping off my car for a maintenance service at MB San Jose Service Center. Danny communicated the progress to me very clearly and kept me informed every step. Also, they provided me with a loaner car as per my reservation. The service was done on the same day and my car was available to pick up by the end of the day. We asked MBSJ to fix two problems on our Sprinter van: (1) a malfunctioning automatic windshield wiper (2) driver side airbag light was on For (1), the technician checked sensors and sprayed water on the windshield but he couldn t replicate the problem. Cost of non diagnosis: $300.00 For (2), the technician, found a severed wire in the seat belt receptacle. Cost of diagnosis: $300.00. Cost of repair: $395.00 + tax I asked the service manager to reduce the diagnostic fees as (1) was not solved (2) required a quick look. He responded he couldn t as he was following MB orders Diagnostic costs and service manager s response were way out of line.
We had window issues on a raining day. Chris and the Service crew was able to fix the issue. My wife and I are very grateful. Thank You. Nice coffee machine.

Service advisor made me feel stupid I had to go to Ford to pick up parts and I saw oil on the ground I popped the hood and found oil all over overfilled the power steering pump left one of the clamps bouncing around on the oil cooler line and left oil all over in the subframe rail I came back and the service manager didnt even come out and talk to me the mechanics came out and took care of it did a good job

The overall experience was a bit frustrating with lack of communication with the finance manager and sales rep. However, the GM was able to assist when needed and I was able to get my processings done in a timely manner.

I bought my Mercedes from the Stevens Creek dealership which is also Auto Nation and I had a string of horrendous experiences with them throughout the buying process, later with financing and then a year later with prepaid service and alignment. After that I decided to try another dealership for my service needs and approached Mercedes Benz of San Jose and have been with them ever since. My service advisor Jose, is polite, understanding, very knowledgeable, honest and will always go above and beyond for his customers. Back trunk car jack and tools was disappear after fixing check engine light which is air-conditioning broke down and got replaced. Take me at least 2 weeks to hunting them for the response!! There response is no one touch my trunk they just fix the air conditioning at the front!? DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY HERE. They have plenty of appointments slots online, even same day. While other dealers are fully booked for the month. Do you know why? Because THEY DONT GIVE A **** ABOUT YOUR APPOINTMENT! I arrived early for my appointment but still waited for half an hour. Wasted my precious time here.
The staff is courteous and helpful. But service times are longer than normal. Took my car for 10K service. It took 4 hours. I waited at the lounge area. The waiting area is good.
Dont waste your time and money here. Their regular wait time is more than 1 hour. Not to start the service on my car, but to talk to a service supervisor. Maintenance services are priced ridiculously high.

Why wait longer and pay more for identical service. Needed annual maintenance. They were unable to meet their valet commitments. They were 40% more for the same service from a identical dealer 15 miles away.

Worse customer service from the financial department. I can t believe that I can t get answers from the general office and finance office. I ve been waiting for the car registration for the past 3 months. DMV will not process it because MB handy done their part. It got to the point that I have received a fine for not having my 2022 plates. Don t waist your time and money dealing with this dealer.

Worst buying experience. Made an appointment to visit this place, still the sales talked with me for 5 mins and left us with no one around for 30 mins. The sales was not aware of features of the car but kept telling us to make a deposit ASAP.
Great sales experience from Joe Ngo! He sold the vehicle at the previously agreed price. I will definitely buy another vehicle from him. I didnt give the dealer 5 stars because the finance department is very dysfunctional due to being part of AutoNation. Im still waiting for a refund from their finance department for the cancelation of an extended warranty and prepaid maintenance after 3 months. No one seems to know where the money is at AutoNation...
I had an amazing experience purchasing my car through these people. Antonios was helpful, knowledgeable and an all-around great person! He wasnt fake or pushy, and I was surprised he even remembered me too days later after I went home to think about it. I had been shopping for a car for 3 months and the last dealership I went to didnt even acknowledge me or try to work with me on a sale and literally called me a liar. It was the craziest car experience I had ever had. So meeting with Antonia, he was a breath of fresh air and my husband and I really enjoyed going there. We would go back in a heartbeat. Thank you guys for being real, and legit!!

So disappointed with the customer service that Danny Salinas provided, he couldn t even provide me the paperwork for the service that was performed on my car. The car I bought was brand new and was sold to me with a factory defect, the safety team and the salesperson who sold me my car aren t doing their job correctly inspecting the vehicles when they first arrive in their dealership, thus putting their customers safety at risk.

My service agent was Alex and he was very courteous and did a fantastic job in guiding me through. Even though my car was multiple years old, it had very low miles on it so he also suggested some modifications in the list of services that are usually performed in Service A.

I brought my car to this service center for the first prepaid maintenance after one year as they have scheduled. The car was driven 9K approximately. They did the maintenance but didnt check my tires while I assumed that they did and everything is okay. 3 months later I got a flat rear tire and took it to another Mercedes dealership for fixing. They checked all tires in front of me and told me that front 2 tires are worn out and need to be changed (I saw it myself, so they didnt lie). I had 10K on the car back then. There is a chance that my tires were replaced with old ones during my first service because I mostly drive in traffic and in these conditions 10K is too low mileage to wear tires off. I am not accusing them though, as I have no proof. However, they didnt check my tires and didnt tell me that they are due soon and they set up my next appointment one year later. If I didnt have the flat tire I wouldnt know that my front tires are worn out and I would endanger my life. Also they didnt tell me that rotation is not covered by prepaid maintenance and I should do it myself. Very disappointed. My manager was Ramsin.I spoke with manager and his boss expecting to get at least some discount for changing the tires, but no luck.
