Brought my baby, 2024 CX30 for its “1st oil change” & James Miller, Service Advisor promptly assisted me upon my arrival and provided me a loaner car. However thanks to James & the service technician my car was ready for pickup in 45 minutes !!
Melissa was very helpful with all my concerns regarding the maintenance and the vehicle itself. All the staffs were super friendly and welcoming. The mechanic did an amazing job inspecting the car as always.
Expensive synthetic oil change even with a 20% coupon, but pretty good service. Of course they found $1000s in issues with my 135k mileage Mazda CX-5. At least they did not apply high pressure to fix them. In a nice touch, they provided a printout with clear photos of the problem areas.
After receiving a call from Dennis regarding a service that was due, he let me know it would be covered under the extended warranty! Made an appointment, took in our ‘19 CX5, and 3 hrs later all was complete. Dennis was very helpful with explanations and what costs would be involved (a deductible). Great experience!
The clerk who checked me in at the service counter was very courteous, friendly and professional. I waited in the guest area while they did my scheduled maintenance and watched several of the staff helping customers, all of them respectful and professional. I was impressed because it’s not so often anymore that I experience good customer service.

I have visited Capitol Mazda and have been impressed by the friendliness and desire to help with my situations. I first had a faulty thermostat and it was replaced under warranty in a timely and efficient manner. on my 2nd visit, I as having Apply Car Play installed and it turned out that I already had it. When I buy the correct cable, I was invited to return to learn how to work it so I can have music and a navigation system in my car. I appreciate all the information and immediate attention I received when visiting this dealership and will return again for servicing.
I’m currently living in Nevada and was visiting family in San Jose. I had a check engine warning light came on the day before I was planning on driving back. Booking an appointment online was easy. I was able to schedule to drop off my car 8am the following morning. Honestly I was pretty frustrated and stressed.. Alfred eased my nerves. He lent me a loaner car and communicated with me throughout the whole process. I got my car back and was honestly surprised I didn’t have to pay for anything because my car was under warranty. Thank you so much Alfred for providing the best customer service and making this unfortunate experience, the best possible one.

Great! Dennis McConnnell has been my personal service advisor for the past 3 years. He is great. Dennis did not pressure me into additional items the Dealer deemed necessary. In fact, Dennis, as usual, was honest with me. Overall, very happy with this and all past experiences and will return for my next oil change. Helpful, on time, when they could not hear the sound they waited while I came back. We went on the test drive together and they had fixed it while trouble shooting. If I heard the mystery sound again whin a couple of they would continue trouble shooting at no additional charge.

Upcharged on everything. Would have saved lots of money taking it somewhere and will consider doing so in the future. Spent 7 hours waiting. I realize I got a lot done and am less bothered by the wait as I am with the price.
The service at Capitol Mazda is excellent. Checking in quick and the communication is great! I usually sit and wait and it ls a comfortable clean waiting area and the wait time is very minimal.

Once I make the appointment and give him my vehicle I do not need to worry about the work, to be completed. Jeff and the service team make it easy to leave or wait for the completion of the work on my vehicle. Jeff keeps me informed or all aspects of work completed or may need to be completed in the future. With Jeff Im not just a customer, Im treated as a friend, always greets me is a warm friendly manner, Time is very important to all of us. My experience at Capitol Mazda Service Center was very good. I have a th ird-party warrantee for my car, and the service rep spent significant time with the warrantee company to get my repair approved. The service itself was performed flawlessly, and in less time than estimated.

My recent oil change today went on smoothly and quickly. Dennis was professional and friendly. Ive always received great service at this location and Dennis was very helpful and efficient from my last visit, my experience was excellent too. I brought my car not only for my regular car maintenance and everything was checked out and I was informed with a few minor details need to be replace but with my permission of course. My car was run through carwash as I requested free of charge. Thank goodness for Dennis he was able to get everything done right and fast. He was able to give my the exact time allotted for wait time. Hope and looking forward to have Dennis help again on my next maintenance. Jane S
Jamie was very professional and courteous, she was very communicative and even recognized me during pickup the following day, even tho she wasnt the worker attending me. Of course, dealers tend to charge more than the independent shops and suggest additional repairs that need to be done. However, they werent pushy when I said no to the additional services. That said, I definitely over-paid for a brake job, but the local shop didnt align with my schedule and now I know what else needs to be done. Its located very close to the VTA light rail; even though I live in Mountain View, it was cheaper for me to come here and take the train than it was to visit the Stevens Creek location and Uber home.

Thank you for informing me about the recall on CMU on my cx 30.. I had one question why when I am backing up turning my steering wheel it making ticking noise..I called the dealer to where I buy this vehicle.. bumper to bumper warranty.. he said about the ticking noise its not percent covered because if theres something thats it happens to have a debris like a stone warranty was not covered....any one had this problem on a 2024 cx 30 model same problem but Mazda refused to cover the warranties...
My first reaction was that the waiting room was terrible. Then I read later that they were remodeling. I wish I knew it at the time. I was missing Toyota I went for a walk while my car was still being looked at. Mazda has a nice inventory of cars. I had my car back less than 2 hours and washed. Everything went Ok
Capitol Mazda is always a pleasant service experience, they process you fast, the place is comfortable to wait, you get knowledgable suggestions without being pushed too hard to upsell. The standard service is fast and smooth. I miss the popcorn machine due to CoVid.
Honestly . Since I am out of warranty, I just wish they would have told me my options. I feel like I was taken advantage of a little bit for my 75K service. As a teacher i already don t make a lot and then to say I have to pick one of the 3 very expensive options, just was a lot. I had already replaced things on my own and then to deal with this was just too much.

Just wanted to let you know that Dennis did a great job of keeping me informed about the status of my car. The car had to be kept overnight waiting for a part. I told him that I can only pick it up the next morning by 930am. He made sure that the part was in and informed the mechanic to work on and install the part so that the car was ready by that time. Every text I sent him, he quickly responded. Dennis went above and beyond to make sure that I was taken care of.

The service team greeted me as soon as I pulled up. They quickly photographed the car and got me signed in. The car was finished sooner than expected and freshly washed. Picking up the car was quick and everyone was friendly and courteous.

I took my Miata in for a recall and service and everyone was nice and efficient. I got a loner car which was very nice, and at no point did I have to wait around for anything.
Had a 10am appointment and they approached me as I was putring my car in park. Amazingly FAST and rental car process was easy enough I didn t even sign the papers at the counter!! I ve been a Mazda customer since 2021 and the experience has been beyond amazing since we ve drove off the lot . Thank you Mazda team on Capitol! Keep up the amazing work!!! I always recommend to our family and friends!!

I am extremely disappointed. They did not honor the battery warranty because of a dashcam and a few LED lights installed on my grill. On top of that they charged 300$ for telling me that. Im an engineer and I know that these low power devices should not affect the battery life so much. I intend not to come to this dealership ever.

I went for a quick oil change, Eugenia (service advisor) was really nice, but the actual service was a fail, the service mechanic did not secure the oil dipstick and oil splattered all over my engine
Great service. I opted for the 125k check, but when. Arrived my advisor told me it wasnt necessary since I drove very minimal miles. Came in earlier in the year and barely placed miles on the vehicle. They recommended an oil change and just tire rotation.

I had a disturbing conversation with the service manager, Dennis today. This is for my friends 2020 Mazda 3 hatchback. The charging system isnt outputting the proper amps and its slowly draining the new Platinum series AGM battery. Dennis said they tested it with the engine running and the battery failed the load test. I asked him if he tested the amperage output of the alternator (should be 130 amps). He said that he didnt need to. I politely asked him to top off the battery and load test it without being connected to the vehicle. He refused and insulted me stating that this is a test run 20 years ago, not one that is needed on modern cars. Voltage is 13.9V charging. Resting voltage of the battery is now 12.36V, down from 12.6V when it was placed in the vehicle last week indicating that the alternator isnt outputting sufficient amps causing it to fail their running load test. Then he said that the warning lamp would come on if there were a problem. The warning lamp wont trigger until voltage drops below 12V. That proves hes an idiot. A slightly slipping serpentine belt can reduce alternator output. James wouldnt listen to logic or treat me with any respect. I worked in the automotive industry for Nissan Motor Manufacturing and have raced and built high performance cars for 25 years. I understand electronics and batteries, yet he thought he knew more and was a complete ASSHOLE!

I brought my mx5 Miata for an airbag recall. Service took about 90 minutes, as expected. I was recommended to change the air filter. The dealer charged $45 labor fee for 1 minute of work and $45 for a $15 air filter. I would not come here for any repairs. Plus, they charge 3% fee for using credit cards.

Dennis, the representative for the service center was fantastic to work with. He was straightforward, called me with updates & was clear of the expectations and the timeline. He was also able to get me a loaner to use over the weekend as the part I needed was delayed. Great service and professional.
At my previous visit, the technicians were unable to find or recreate the problem with the video screen I described. I mentioned to Eugenia, who was helping me that day, that the issue was still present and seemed to be worse when it was hot outside. She said she would have it looked at it again, and if they couldn t see or recreate the issue, there was a replacement kit. The kid had a $100 deductible but spoke with her manager to get the $100 deductible waived as the previous visit had been when the screen was under warranty. Very much appreciated that being a retiree on fixed income!
I was greeted by Dennis. He let me know that he was gonna take some pictures of my CX-5. He asked me what the mileage was and brought me inside to record the transaction. Dennis was very polite and explained to me the services that my car would get. He also reminded me that this was a prepaid service. My car was ready at the time promised. All personnel were prompt and polite. My car was in good hands. I loved the service I got
Super quick (my service done was ahead of the schedule), super awesome staff - friendly and fun and great amenities at the service center - my 50 minutes of waiting were a breeze with the nice quiet room, free coffee and WiFi. And I was really amazed that I was receiving updates on my car as the work progressed - the video of walkaround checkup from under the car was amazing. This was an extra drive for me (there is a closer Mazda dealer to my home) but this was definitely worth the drive! This was my very first visit to Capitol Mazda for service after buying an MX-5 from them and so far both buying and servicing experience has been great!

Aftermath work and video by the mechanic makes it must have to come back to until Mileage reaches past the coverage. Then the decision is yours to go to a personal mechanic thats certified or return to the dealership mechanic

I am never disappointed about the level of customer service and general experience I have at Capitol Mazda. Super efficient, I never feel like I am just sitting around waiting for my car to get looked at. Scheduling is easy, and everyone (from the scheduling desk person to the mechanics) are lovely. This time, my service manager went above and beyond to help me look at my key fob for a different Mazda than the one I brought in for maintenance. He was super helpful and really went above and beyond! My only suggestion is that the dealership improve the waiting room.I usually like to wait for my car and their setup is really tired. Especially compared to the one on Stevens Creek. Its not enough to stop me from buying and maintaining my cars there but its just something that would make it extra nice.
