Interstate All Battery Center in San Jose

Had a very good Walmart battery but it was getting weak so, upon my scheduled oil change and vehicle checkup, my mechanic installed an Interstate Battery. It's lasted longer than any I've had.

I had the possible dead battery in the trunk from the other car they came out and tested it and confirmed it is no good and then by application they offer me the choice of batteries completed the transaction and carried it out to the trunk of the car. Everybody inside was so nice and it did not complain that I got there 5 minutes before closing. stayed late to help me

They get the job done but the customer service there is grim... There are 2 ladies who work there. Both of which sound and look like they have no soul. No tone in their voice, just providing service. It may not matter for the most part but they make the place feel very unsettling. Depressing even..

The business hours are wrong (official website, google and apple maps) all say 5pm but it’s 4:30pm M-F. I showed up at 4:40pm and it was closed with posted hours showing 4:30pm. When I called them afterwards they didn’t seem to care, only that their door post is accurate even though I pointed out their own online info is wrong.

This place has terrible customer service! The lady who answered asked if I could be placed on a hold twice and hung up on me twice. If you do not know how to use your phone you may think about asking the questions to a co worker on how! When the customer tells you for the third time " I just have a quick question!" that is a simple yes or no answer and they you click over and place someone on hold while they are still talking and telling you that you have been making a mistake is extremely rude! Terrible service, GO SOMEWHERE ELSE! IT'S CHEAPER ANYWAYS!

I bought a new battery a few months ago, the battery stop working at some point, I took it to the store at Phelan st in San José . I was surprised that they haven't honored the warranty right away they said that they need 3 days to test and recharge the battery in order to decide if they will replace it or just recharge it, what the help they think? I need to use my truck every day. I left my battery and after 5 day they haven't called me yet, I tried to call them and they put me on hold and never pick up the phone. I have to stop by tomorrow and see what they say. Don't buy here!

I went there for a battery for my gen 1 prius. They didn't have any and said they only get them in periodically. ???? The clerks stand at the front desk and talk to each other without helping customers. I wasn't impressed with the lack of customer service. Then, the prices are high for a USED battery. I've checked it on my no go list. Its not a good place in my opinion.

Can't ever go wrong with them here. Keith and his team always help me out. GREAT SERIVCE AND PRICES ! Bought at least 6 batteries yellowtops for me and also friends. Even seen Keith help a family who you can tell is struggling. Gave an awesome Christmas deal! Happy Holidays 😊
