Batteries Plus in San Jose

I wish I had gotten their names, but the two guys working in the shop on Stevens Creek Boulevard on Saturday afternoon (04/19/2025) were super helpful and friendly. I came in for a battery warranty claim and after thoroughly doing their due diligence and checking the battery's ability to hold charge, etc. they determined that it should be warrantied. While waiting for the charging tests, they taught me a lot about why Li-ion and lead batteries were used and also taught me a lot about the battery market and manufacturing in general. Super knowledgeable and credible guys who I would buy batteries from again and again. We even had a chat about full spectrum LED bulbs for horticulture and they impressed me with their knowledge of wavelength spectra, CRI, and CCTs.

Came in here looking for a battery. Eric was professional, kind, efficient, and so knowledgeable. He went the extra mile and cleaned some erosion off the thingy-ma-gig. Thank you Eric :)

Batteries Plus took care of getting a replacement battery for my HP Pavilion laptop. The service was great including removal of the old and installation of the new. They answered all of my questions including those about the battery warranty and the people there really knew their stuff. They also gave me a good tutorial on batteries that can be used as a back-up for appliances in my house in the event of an extended power outage.

Wow! What great customer service. It was almost closing time so I called ahead of time to ask if I arrived at 6:00 pm, which is closing time, would they still help me change my fob battery. The guys - sorry. I forgot to ask for his name - said “no problem. We’ll take care of you.” When I walked in, he was happy to help. I wanted to give him a $20 tip for a $6.50 job but he refused. Said it’s company policy not to accept tips. It meant a lot for me to get the battery changed. It’s been driving me crazy the intermittent reliability on the fob. He checked the battery to figure out if it was my car or the battery that was the culprit. After he checked, he said it was the battery. It may be a very minor thing but it meant a lot to me. I am SO appreciative that he valued my business, no matter how little money it brought to his business. That is REAL customer service.

I bought a pair of 6V Duracell Golf Cart batteries online and had them installed at a local shop. Ordered Sunday night, installed Tuesday in about 35 min. Friendly service.

The Duracell on my Camry XLE V6 3.5L works for 5 years and 1 month. Other car batteries from Walmart or Napa auto died in 3 years and were not cheaper. I trust the quality of this battery a lot. Why 4 starts only? It is hard to beat the deal of Interstate battery from Costco. When you sign up, you can receive more deals along the time. Why say no to a brand with the good products and deals !?

I recieved excellent customer service from the Manager Conner and associate Erick. I needed two batteries that are hard to find and was told to go to this location to try and find them. They are a bit expensive but I needed them so I had to make the purchase. Erick was kind enough to but them in my item to make sure they worked. I found that to be great customer service.

I had a great visit Thursday 9/19/24 at this store. I called around the mall and 5 different stores for some watch batteries and was getting some ridiculous quotes from all types of Jewelry Watch stores until I called this place. The prices were a lot better than the other places and I decided to add 7 new batteries to my watches. I met with Connor Assistant store manager, and he took care of my watches in about 20 minutes. I will definitely refer all of my friends and family to this place if they want to save some money. I walk with a cane and AFO brace on my left leg and Connor was professional enough to offer me a seat while I waited. They have light bulbs, flashlights and even Car batteries. They can fix your cell phones and laptops. I was pretty impressed such a small place packed with a lot of useful stuff. I will be a regular there and send all of my NINER GANG to them.
