I wouldn’t recommend Leale’s Auto & Transmission Repair. I called for a simple quote on a repair, and the response I received was incredibly negative and unprofessional. The person I spoke with seemed more interested in making a quick buck than actually helping. Very unfortunate to encounter this kind of attitude—maybe he was having a bad day, but that’s no excuse for poor customer service. Honestly, I’m starting to believe the positive reviews are just from family and friends.

Leale's Auto & Transmission was highly recommended My VW New Beetle developed a Transmission problem. Jim and Tyler were able to access the issue and make the repairs needed in an efficient, timely and very professional manner. My Vw beetle is on the road again. Moving back to the east coast bringing my father back home and the transmission to our camper went out. The service was excellent & quick! Thanks to these amazing mechanics our old 1988 Chevy Elite made it home to the east coast & still has some life left. Thank you all!

Took my Dodge durango up here because I was having transmission problems. Now the guy Jim I spoke with was very friendly. Informed me of what was happening. Told me my only option was a new transmission. Or transmission rebuild. I truly did not want to spend $7895.85 However, they warranty their product and their work one year or twelve thousand miles. Cool, so we struggle to find the money. We get the money and make the payment. We get our car back a little less than a month later. I go to pick up my car after final payment and here's my floor board! It did not look like this when it came to them. The carpet was not pulled back. The glove box was not ripped off and laying in the floorboard. You would think after paying almost eight thousand dollars, they would at least put everything back the way it goes properly. That's what makes me upset, and that's what leaves this review. I paid them almost as much as I paid for the entire vehicle, and they can't be bothered to put a glove box back in its proper position versus leaving it on my floor........ The owner finally reached back out to me and attempted to make things right. I can say that the owner has then very cordial on the phone. Each time that i've spoken with him and apologized for his employees and their lack of attention to detail when it comes to my vehicle. He also emailed me a warranty for their work. One year twelve thousand miles. Though he reached out my opinion still stands that I would not take another vehicle to this company and I would be very careful in the future of anybody who goes to this company. Get your quote in writing prior to taking your vehicle up there. Take pictures prior to you taking your vehicle up there. And once your vehicle is returned to, you go over every inch of the vehicle to make sure the job is done properly.

The team here are absolutely great! They are highly knowledgeable, honest, and very nice as well. I brought my car in for an inspection for the transmission (which they do for free btw) and Jim gave me a great in depth analysis, with genuine advice and an honest price for work he's experienced in! Highly recommend!

False Advertisement and bad quality. I took my Subaru there to upgrade my clutch for a performance one. My whole transmission gave up after a week with just daily driving it from home to work. They also charged me for the estimate even though they advertised "free estimates". They refused to honor the "6 month warranty" that they promised. Not recommended at all! Extremely disappointed to the point that I had to make this review! Davis V.
