My brother recommended me to A&J Nissan he knows Jim well so I’ve been taking my Acura TSX here for every kind of maintenance on my car I highly recommend this place he’s honest and great price.
Was recommended A&J and scoped them out before taking my car there. Jim was knowledgeable, patient, and seemed like an honest and hardworking guy. I initially took my car in for a full inspection to see what all needed to be done. I received a quote and sat on it for a couple of months. Recently came back to get most of the work done and Jim was flexible and accommodating. His team was able to get me in and get everything completed on time even when he had a mechanic out sick. While servicing Jim’s team was able to find and recommend some additional service which would save me money in the long run. I’m always skeptical of dealerships and mechanics but after working with A&J, am fully confident in their ability and trust their advice! Thanks Jim!

I have a 2010 Nissan Altima and I've only taken it to the dealership (during the first 3 year warranty) or this shop (Eric prior and now Jim). This is my spot. Great prices and great service. And extremely honest. Let me give you an example. I brought my car in for a brake check (made some initial noise over the last few days). I took it to Jim to have a look and let me know if I needed new brakes. He honestly told me the brakes were fine and nothing was needed. Had I taken it anywhere else, I'm sure i would have been advised to change all four. Thx for being professional :)
Oil change alarm was on and I was around the neighborhood so I randomly stopped by this plaza for oil change. There are many shops here. Somehow this neat Autoshop got my attention. Service is great and price is good. They explained to me the difference between two prices and let me make decision. Highly recommended!
As always we discussed what the car really needed for maintenance. The business philosphy is totally different from any dealership. Dealerships will sell fluff you don't need and make you pay 2-3x a reasonable rate to get the work done. Grateful for this shop.
Eric is amazing. We had a mechanic that had us believing the car was missing for another reason. Eric changed the spark plugs, coil in the #6 cylinder and basically took care of our car the way it should have been taken care of in the first place! Also, his pricing is fair. It seems like finding a good mechanic is as difficult as finding a good medical doctor! But at least we now have the 'good mechanic'! Thanks Eric. Great work - and did I say the car now drives like silk??? Wow!

I always take my Pathfinder to A&J. They have good prices and great service. Recently Ive had my alternator and drive belt changed, along with both upper and lower control arms in the front. Gives me confidence on the road after taking my car to A&j.

I m not the person to write reviews, however, I felt extremely cheated at this mechanic shop. I had a code come up for a catalytic converter which, was no surprise as I have a 2012 Nissan Sentra with 158,000 miles on it. When Jim called me to tell me the catalytic converter was the issue, I figured the cost of repair would be $800-$1,200 because my family has only owned, and driven Nissan vehicles and my car has one catalytic converter on it. Over the phone Jim gave me a quote of $1,000 and some change which I thought was a fair price, so I gave him the green light to order the new converter and install it for me. When I went to pick up my vehicle the price was doubled at $1,980. I felt cheated because I did not write down the phone quote and I had no way to prove that Jim changed the price on me. I had to swallow this pill and pay because I needed my car to get to work that day. If I had the quote sent to me via email, I would have never agreed to put $2,000 worth of work on my vehicle, knowing that the transmissions on these vehicles are known to fail. I m not sure what happened to the original mechanic/owner Eric (who was extremely helpful and fair) but do not take you vehicle to Jim. If you do decide to go to this shop and Jim is helping you, make sure you write down the quote he gives you. I will never take my vehicle to get serviced here again, especially, if Jim is still running the books.

This is a great, honest shop, owned by a really reliable mechanic. My wife and I have been getting our auto work here for years.
A J is a great guy. Check Engine light came on and I called him. He hooked up the code reader. The fault didnt make sense so he reset the code. He didnt charge me and said it was probably a fluke. So far the car is running fine and the check engine light never showed up.
Eric and Nate always do a great job on my Nissan and the pricing is good. I would recommend anyone with a Nissan to take it to A & J Nissan.

Eric owns this shop and is one of the FEW solid and HONEST mechanics around. Oh yeah, he knows his STUFF! Ive taken my Nissan Maxima there for years (until I sold it on his recommendation), and now take my Toyota to him as well. Throughout all my dealings with Eric, he is straightforward with you. Wont over-sell you things you dont need. He understands people just want to save money on expensive repairs and does what he needs to do....not over selling or ripping you off for repairs that can wait. He has a LOYAL following. He isnt CHEAP, but you wont get ripped off, and the work is always ON POINT!
Excellent car advice from a professional who knows autos inside and out. HONEST, straightforward/No BS or upselling, and you will return for more work! Eric is the owner of this shop, and this guy knows cars INSIDE AND OUT! I highly recommend him and his work ethic/honesty. Works on all makes/models, but specializes in Japanese including Lexus, toyota, nissan, etc.
Ive been coming here for about 2 years now and the service is superb. Eric is an honest mechanic and businessman. His shop does great work. They may be busy at times, but will aways try to fit you in. They can be worth the wait if it comes to that.

I had a problem starting my 09 Altima: all lights on the front panel turned on but the engine wouldnt turn over. So I googled Nissan repair and found that A&J Nissan Specialist has the best review in South Bay region. I called and Eric took my call. After asking me about what happened, he suggested me to check if the brake light was on when the brake was pressed. I did that and found that brake light wasnt on. Eric told me that it was a simple fix and I could do it myself if I got the part. Im surprised that Eric didnt try to bring me into his garage like some other garages might do. Although I didnt go to A&J to have my car fixed this time, I would go to them if my car had a bigger problem. I also feel I should let people know my experience, as honesty is not a virtue that can be found easily everywhere nowadays.
Unfortunately dont have the name of the guy who worked on my car earlier last month, but clutch work on my Z has been solid. Had it done within the day, car still drives great and miles better than stock. Availability and pricing were excellent. If the Saturday hours posted on Google are still current, then Id much prefer going to them over a dealer for the next oil change.
Hes honest . wont try and make you do unnecessary work just to make a buck. Communicates everything to you. Knows his stuff in and out .
