Best Auto Care in San Francisco

Maybe my favorite mechanic. I brought my Mustang there for new brakes and to fix my AC. They have great prices compared to others, they work quick, very nice and professional. The mechanics know their stuff.

This place was amazing. I was in a pinch and unable to take my car to my normal mechanic. I was worried about going to a different shop, but the team here was extremely patient, transparent, and knowledgeable. They suggested a few solutions first which would be free and wouldn't make them any money. Once I insisted on the more complete work, the prices they gave were more competitive than the ones I heard elsewhere. Would definitely suggest them to anybody in the area.

We were told the estimate would cost us $150 and we had no problem with it until he showed a rude attitude. He also said we need it to leave the car for a day as he would not lose $3000 in repairing other cars to just have a $150 estimate done. Probably this person was not having the best day but this was definitely not the way to approach a new customer!

Jim is a great guy who tells you exactly what he’s doing and prices everything fairly and competitively. I fix some stuff on my truck myself but when I need a pro, I’m going to bring it to Jim every time.

As the name says Best Auto is excellent at fixing your car. I have had them work on my Hondas & my Volvos throughout the years. Honest, trustworthy, reliable & reasonable charges for their work. They will do what needs to be done & will not do what doesn't need it. Yes I reccommend them.

We were from out of town. Trusted Mr. Lee to help us. He was totally focused on our problem and gave us options for repair within a few days. The old Toyota had a bad computer. He allowed us to keep the car there until we could find a tow truck to haul it for donation. We would definitely recommend him to others!

I have taken my vehicle, a 2004 Acura, here for several years. I always feel comfortable that I have received professional and friendly service at a reasonable price. When an intermittent issue cropped up with my vehicle, the owner took the time to thoroughly explain the possible diagnoses to allow me to make an informed decision.

My work truck broke down on my way to a job in SF and I was freaking out because I live 50+ miles away. I was debating whether or not to try and get it towed home when I found this shop only a couple blocks away. I limped in and the owner ran a diagnostic and said he could get the parts in a couple hours. They where very honest and reasonably-priced and got me back on the road in time for dinner. I feel truly blessed to have broken down where I did cause these guys are amazing. It's a small shop so be patient but they will definitely take good care of you.
