Spoke with the owner on pricing for windshield replacement. Asked for a company invoice and written warranty, which I was promised. When the repair tech showed up, he was not a Cal Auto Glass employee, but a third party out of Tijuana. Does not make sense to pay top dollar to a US company that doesn’t write down what they say, to get second rate work from an uninsured provider. I have officially asked twice for the written invoice and warranty from Cal Auto Glass, and all I get is crickets. Hopefully this gets someone’s attention over there.
Justin and Drew were very helpful on a Sunday morning after our car was broken into and my husband’s road bike stolen. Unfortunately, the part was not in their inventory and they offered to service first thing Monday. We had to get back home from out of state and had to leave. After going back and forth a couple times, we decided to tape it up and drive. Both Justin and Drew were helpful in providing tips to tape up the broken window. Excellent and patient with us even if we didn’t utilize their services . Very grateful for their compassion and helpfulness.
My experience in May 2019 was great. I sent them a message, and heard back very quickly - asking about the year, make, model and damage. I got an estimate shortly afterwards, all within an hour. Nash came to my car at work. He pointed out a few other window chips that I hadn't noticed. I watched him replace the whole windshield in about 45 minutes. The process was fascinating. Professional, fast response, very reasonable price. Thank you!
Easy and quick - don't procrastinate. I had a chip in my windshield for several months and put off getting it fixed. I finally called Justin and we made a same day appointment. He repaired the windshield in less than 30 minutes (total from intro to thank you). And it looks great. And, with Geico and the Geico app, it cost me $0. Highly recommended. Don't delay - fix your windshield chips right away.
Lifetime guarantee on repairs! Justin was a nice guy. Very informative. Offered to have insurance pay but I paid with card. He fixed three rock chips/cracks in less than 10 minutes at has station while I pumped gas. This location also has restaurant, oil changes, and car wash/detail center. Get your car all fixed up in one convenient location.
The auto glass repair technicians employed by California Auto Solutions were professionals in every way. I've had multiple interactions with them and all experiences were so well done i wanted to share the word. They couldn't have done a better job repairing cracked glass. They were prompt, thorough and very friendly. And their mobile service make the process that much easier. 5 stars, without question. If you need your car fixed take it to them!
Absolute breath of fresh air. Very rare find. Unbelievable experience and savings. Don't look anywhere else. I called Justin to get an estimate for windshield reseal. He was really honest and told me to go back to dealer to ensure it wasn't covered under warranty. He mentioned that it's 50/50 chance windshield would crack if it was removed and resealed. Dealer was adamant that breakage only occurs on low percentage of windshield reseals. I called the windshield vendor that dealer uses and he confirmed what Justin said from beginning. It would be extra charge to replace windshield. I really liked Justin's honest and informative style. He gives you his best price and looks out for customer like a friend. I appreciate the fact that he did what he could to give me the very best option and deal for my situation. If dealer was able to assist with a warrant replacement, I told him I would still write this review from all his help. Absolute breath of fresh air. Very rare find. Absolutely the best windshield repair experience I've ever had!! I called around to a variety of auto glass shops and found California Auto Solutions on Google and was drawn to them because their amazing reviews! They were able to beat the price of every other quote I had received by actually quite a lot, and we're very responsive, kind, and accommodating. Justin replaced my windshield, was very professional and got the job done in no time. He even threw in some high quality trim for no extra charge! Called to get a quote for a spider web crack about 2 inches in diameter and was able to get a same day appointment. Came to me, took only 30 minutes, and let me watch. Great small business that won t hit you over the head on a price or try to change their quote when they arrive.

If you have a cracked windshield, do not walk but rather RUN to Justin with Cal Auto Glass. Not only is he affordable, but he is a consummate professional. He not only repaired the crack I picked up today, he went and touched up several previous cracks that I had treated by another repair service and showed me what a true professional job looks like. And the icing on the cake is that he touched up the earlier repairs, made them look WAY BETTER, and for no extra charge! All of this was completed in under 10 minutes. Hes very friendly, too. What more can you ask for? Cal Auto Glass is head and shoulders above the competition.
Driving up the freeway for work I picked up a bolt which cracked my windshield. I called cal auto glass and two other companies. Cal auto glass was the lowest price and arranged for the technician to meet me at work. I drove home with a brand new windshield. Thanks

My car was broken into this morning. The front drivers window was smashed and broken glass was everywhere. I contacted Cal Auto Glass and they provided a quote which included taxes, mobile service, and vacuum on the broken glass. They came to my home in Sorrento Valley this morning and just finished. Excellent Service.
Im so happy with the service Justin gave me. He made sure to check the parts of my car and was very knowledgeable at the same time. He made sure to give me a detailed analysis of what I can do to maintain my car as well as keep it fine tuned. I will definitely return and I hope everyone comes here!
Had my windshield repaired on my 18BMW 750. looks terrific!
The passenger front window on my Chevrolet Malibu was broken. I have no idea how it broke but if it happens again I know where to buy a new one. I found Cal Auto Glass on google and they quoted me over $100 less than a large market leading company. They came to my house and installed a new window which looks exactly like the one which broke. They quoted me an out the door price so there were no taxes or additional charges when it came time to pay. Great work.

This place is a rip-off joint. First he said that insurance would pay for the repair (they did not). Then he failed to explain that he really couldnt repair my windshield until after it was done. Stay away from this place.

Great repair job- theres only a bit of a discoloration to show there was ever a crack in my windshield. AMAZING customer service- the owner actually drove out to my home to do the job. Only place Ive ever heard of thats willing to do that. Would definitely use them again, tho I hope I ever have to, obv.
