I drive a 2014 Hyundai Santa Fe. Last weekend, out of no where, my car started sounding like my muffler had been cut whenever I would accelerate. I had no idea what was wrong, so I took it to the dealer. They couldn't get me a diagnosis until the following Wednesday....so 4 days without a car, since I did not feel comfortable driving it. When they sent me the results, it was 2 problems I knew (coolant hose and my oil pan), and then the main issue, my catalytic converter was "cut." I was told it was a cut, and it looked like a cut, because it was such a clean cut. They quoted me over $1300 for a replacement plus labor. I told my friend about it, and he said NOPE, take it to a muffler shop and have them weld it. I called All American, he allowed me to text him the picture from the dealership, and said Absolutely we can get you in today at 4pm and that will be $50....To go from $1300 to $50 is INSANE, no matter the reason. When we got there, they got to it immediately and informed me it was not "cut" but the original factory weld had busted on the seam. The owner was AMAZING, kind and patient (I had my 5 year old with me), and he showed him how a welder's helmet works. So now I can add welder to the list of careers he would like to have. All said and done, he only charged $40 and we were in and out within 10 minutes. I bought my car used, and when I tell you she has never ran this quiet, I didn't even know my car was on!! the difference between what she is now to even before the converter broke it incredible. They did not just offer a service, they were kind, informative and quick. I know most people wont need a $50 job, but to get anything in Cali for under a $100 is a blessing, and I appreciate every thing they did.
My A7 had an exhaust leak and I brought it in from Monterey. It was done so nice and quickly. Price was reasonable. Howard and his team were so kind and profesional. I will be recommending them to all my friends and family. Ty again.

My 2004 Honda Element had a hole in the muffler and was rattling around. I took it to Henry right when he opened; he welded the hole shut and resecured it in less than 10 minutes. That wasn't even the best part: he was incredibly affordable and friendly. Suffice to say that Henry will be our first stop with any similar needs, and should be for yours.
Took my beautiful Challenger Hellcat to Howard at All American Muffler and couldn't have been happier and exited of the outcome. Now she has awoken and you can hear how much better she sounds. Thank you Howard fir you generosity and professionalism. 💯 percent would recommend.
Best guy in town!! Came here for my catalytic converter twice for 2 different cars. Hands down he is very reasonable and helpful. Car also passed smog with flying colors.
All American Muffler is a great shop to have your custom exhaust needs taken care of. They are very communicative and their work was of great quality. I'm glad I found well experienced fabricators to get the job done right the first time!
I have a 1970 Mustang Boos 302 that won "Best of Show" in the Vintage Mustang Owners Assocication 2023 show. The car is pretty much done except for the exhaust system. My good friend who also owns a 70" Boss had taken his here a few years back and he saved his exhaust system and was giving it to me. He insisted I drive down from San Jose to have Howard at All American Muffler do the work. After setting the appointment we arrived and he was ready to start. He replace the whole exhaust and what I love most he enjoyed what he was doing. He knew his trade and set up the car beautifully. The price was fair and worth the drive down from San Jose to have someone that you can trust. Obviously, it's fun to have the thumbs up sign on the hour drive to and from Salinas. I will refer all my classic cars friends to use All American Muffler. I enclosed the pictures, but took mostly videos because the car now sounds incredible. Thanks Howard!

I recently had both of my flex pipes on my A4 replaced here. Howard and his son Nate run a good business, and do great work. They inspected & diagnosed free of charge (as I was doing the work with them), and resolved the problem 100% and were very fast. The only reason I didnt leave a 5 star is because the price of labor was increased for me bringing my own parts. I asked if that was because they werent going to make all the (quite a bit) mark-up from their parts, and he said yes. While I dont agree with this, personally (labor cost is labor cost), he was 100% honest and direct about it.
Howard is a stand up guy. Hes always told me exactly what I need and nothing more. Trust the dude with all my cars.
I came to have my exhaust fixed after Hyundai in Seaside refused to take responsibility for damaging my vehicle. All American Muffler fixed the damages within an hour handled all my concerns with ease and professionalism. He worked with me to pay over the phone since I had to leave at a crazy low price. When he told me that it would cost no more than 70 bucks I couldnt believe it. I was expecting to pay 250. American Muffler is were I will go for now on for any welding for any of my vehicles. They will provide you with equally awesome service.

Howard was very friendly and honest. Someone tried to steal my catalyst converter but they failed. Unfortunately, the pipes were cut all the way through. I took it to All American Muffler after my friend, Dr. Andy Yee, referred me. Howard not only welded the pipes but he also fixed my heat shield from rattling as well. Best of all, since I am a good friend of Dr. Andy Yee, he did not charge me regardless of my begging him to let me pay him. Thank you Howard for your wonderful hospitality, friendliness and honesty. I would give 10 stars if I could.
My go to place, messed up one time recently and went somewhere else, big mistake had have Howard and his son fix the issue and found that the other shop I used had put a used and damaged muffler, Howard did an awesome job and even took my truck the following week to have a muffler and tip put in, these guys are the real deal, hard to find straight up honest businesses around here so Im glad I found one

My niece was looking for a shop that can install a catalytic converter shield and All American muffler was responsive but also offered a good price for labor. Definitely a business you should support! He gave recommendations on smog and adjusted the muffler with no additional charge since another shop didn t do a good job. Thank you!

This was perfect! Made an appointment couple days prior And when I showed up they did what they said they d do! I had them install a catback magnaflow exhaust for me and they did it surprisingly faster than I thought. No issues whatsoever. Thank you guys!
Muffler was too close to drive line cut it half broke bell housing was charged 1400 for the exhaust then was told the damages were do to motor mounts then paid 900 for him to repair damages done by poor quality work performed by his shop but had to repair motor mounts that I had a receipt for I had them done 2 weeks prior to the exhaust getting the truck back after 3 months to have to pay for damage caused by the installation of exhaust but was shown pictures of holes burned in my exhaust pipe iseveral areas the owner is not on to stand behind his work and I will never use or recommend his shop to anyone and I would warm against usein
Cool guy. He went far and beyond he knew what he was doing. He did work on my 1988 mustang gt and i was happy he finished it in one day. Definitely recommend
To expensive just to weld two mufflers. Really simple. Mufflers are $55 each.

I called them a couple of days ago and specifically asked if they could replace my muffler while I waited. They said yes. So I got up bright and early in the morning and went down there today and he tells me no. I would have to leave it. Being as though I am on vacation, I have no other Transportation or any place to go in Salinas while he takes care of the work. Not very professional at all.

I dropped my car off to have a complete new exhaust system put on it. I was given a very fair quote before I left the shop. I received a phone call about an hour later and my car was done. Im super impressed with how everything worked out. Car runs and sounds great!

Man Hugo is awesome mechanic hes got a great attitude and not afraid to get his hands dirty... I went to 4 different shops to check out my 63 impala and all of them said we dont work on that type of car but we can send it out to get it fixed... So willis referd me to Hugo at all American mufflers and sure enough that guy was like sure ill check it out for you... i was amazed that he got everything i asked for done at a great price and in a timely manner.. i look forward to bringing him more work...
