Chevron in Salinas

Charging extra and wouldn't let me use my own reward points.

This place is a local gem. ALL the guys that work here are always nice with a positive attitude. It's CLEAN, well stocked inside, plenty of room to get fuel for a pickup truck towing a big trailer, it's the best Chevron in the Bay Area...and I'm a gas station junkie.

Cashier at the food mall is very rude. Made me regret my 2 min stop.

The manager, Brad(?!) I believe your name is?! Just a jerk. Rude and could care less about any sort of customer service. I mentioned to him that several times I’ve bought Vuse pods from them, (a product Ive been using for YEARS) and they’ve been “old” , taste burnt and the coloration of the pods are completely off. They are expensive, and I understand that tobacco products are controlled by the vendor. This last time I opened the box in the store right after purchase and the same thing happened again. So In speaking to him I had hoped to possibly exchange the defected product I was sold for a useable one, or At the very least bring it to his attention.Instead I was met with complete attitude, sarcasm and zero respect as a loyal customer. However aside from the fountain drink machine never working correctly and their bottled diet mt dew being expired on several occasions- The other staff that work in this store are GREATTT! Know them on first name basis and are ALWAYS super friendly, and genuine. I feel sorry for them that they have to work for a person like that. If he can treat his customers that way,I can only imagine how he treats his employees.

Thank you for the open bathrooms that are reasonably clean. Very appreciated by long distance travellers.

Fairly typical Chevron mini market store. Stocks the usual stuff... Snacks, drinks, etc. As is typical, the prices are marked up over what you'd pay and say a grocery store. But the store is clean, is in a safe area, and there are no other real complaints.
