I was very satisfied my car was in the work bay and being serviced at my appointment time. I was was advised on recommended repairs. Service writer showed and explained me the areas of concern and I was given a quote to consider before I left
The location in Salinas is top notch from their work on my vehicle to the staff at the front desk who treat you and talk to you with respect.They take their time to explain to the customer what is going to be performed on your vehicle and they kindly provide suggestions on what your vehicles needs are. Robert is top notch with the respect and with his knowledge of his job/profession. I’ve been a customer here for years and I’ve never been disappointed with their work and hospitality. Robert is always so great! We are well taken care of as usual. We had air conditioning redone on our ford explorer and it was just great super smooth and we loved it!
Horrible service! Had a 1:00 appointment to fix a small exhaust leak. Arrived at 12:45 and checked in and was told his manager would be back from lunch. He helped 2 other customers who arrived well past my check in and when I confronted the manager with now being a half hour late, his response was his tech guy just went to lunch? Why make the appointment and then has the nerve to ask me if I want to reschedule? Got it taken care of at All American Muffler in less then 30 minutes for half the price.
The team at Midas, lead by Robert, was a great choice. I went in for an estimate and was treated with professionalism and courtesy. It was an easy choice to have them proceed. Overnight parts and repairs the following day made the experience even easier. I would not hesitate to return and to recommend others to stop by and see for themselves.
Use to be a good place to get oil changes. Pricing much better than dealerships. Recently had an oil change and service tech handed me back my keys and said nothing to me. No customary thank you. What made it worse, was after getting in my car the steering wheel was oily. So tech obviously didn't bother to wipe down steering wheel. Even worse was after driving awhile, I noticed a burning smell coming from the engine compartment. I popped the hood and saw fresh oil splattered about. So the tech was sloppy and didn't bother to clean it up. I called the shop back and the manager apologized and said to bring my car back so his tech could clean it up. I didn't have the time and cleaned it up myself, 30 minutes to clean up his mess. I was not happy!
Robert needs a tad bit help with his customer service. I had talked to him over the phone gave him my car info and confirmed a price. Once i got there he gave me another price. In the most rudest tone ever. He did mention it was a 3hr wait as well which is no problem but that attitude made me leave and false prices
IF YOU USE THIS PLACE, UBER!!! Do not rely on their service car or their word. Low rating for customer service only. Dropped my car for a 9am oil change and brake check. Told service car would be available in 30-minutes. No big deal. Service car is ready, and the guy who came in for car work after me gets their drop-off first in the opposite direction and much farther away. A little frustrating, considering I dropped my car off at 9am and got back home at 10am. I was late for an in-home service because of this, but that's a different story. Get a call at 10:50, explaining any issues and findings. Told the car will take an hour to get ready. I hear nothing back, so at 12, I call and ask when the driver will pick me back up. I then get told everyone is out to lunch and will be back in 1-1.5 hours. The rep on the phone told me he'd leave a note for the manager regarding getting picked up. At 1:35, I call back. The rep says the service car is out picking someone else up!?!? To which I state that I've been waiting for an hour and half for a pick up. I basically get crickets and that they should be able to pick me up in 20 minutes. Kudos to them as it only took 35 minutes. Collectively, I spent nearly three hours waiting on the service car. What a great way to spend my Saturday! This is enough for me to never come back. I will strongly dissuade anyone that cares about customer service from going to this place.
