My family has been taking their cars to European Auto for years and they do not disappoint. They are very honest and will not rip you off. I took my car in for an issue and Juan determined what the issue was. He recommended I take it to the BMW dealership because he was almost positive it was covered under warranty. I thanked him for being honest as it was under warranty. I cannot recommend them enough, as they will get your car in and out and do a great job!
I went to do a diagnosis a few days ago, I think the price is very exaggerated, and the diagnosis tells me that it should. change the turbo and then he says it could be something else my car also leaks antifreeze and I think they forgot to check that even though I paid for the diagnosis think better of coming I think their prices are exaggerated and they take advantage of those who don't know about cars. . About 5 thousand to fix a car they overcharge.
CAUTION! Called to see about an oil pressure check for my 08 Audi. I have a good friend who was a Master tech for 27 years who gives me advice - and I'm pretty handy, but not a full mechanic. They quoted me $240 to do an oil pressure check. The dealership (Audi of the Monterey Peninsula) will do an entire engine diagnostic with factory trained master techs for . . . That exact same price - $240. Read a lot of reviews and the 5 stars are all simple "good service, really nice" (people who don't know about cars) and most of the 1 star reviews had details making it obvious the person actually has mechanical knowledge, a few with specific details that they lied or tried to unplug sensors to get more work. Seems like they specialize in European cars because they're expensive (so you can charge high for service) and many folks with euro cars aren't gearheads or wrenches - more typically people with $ and into luxury stuff (easily overcharged w/lack of knowledge and happy with "good customer service" & attitude - when they're really getting took). It's tough, but if you know a friend or family member who's a mechanic or with good knowledge, always consult them first. Shops like this are hit and miss, you can look to save a few bucks and end up paying hundreds or thousands more than the dealer.
These guys are awesome! They helped me through every step of the way, from ordering a transmission, ordering replacement parts, and being honest about what needed to be repaired and what didn’t. Very friendly and professional. Definitely using this shop again.
So Blessed I found this place for my 2016 428i Grand Coupe BMW ,Juan was very helpful. Grateful for the attitude they show me makes me feel comfortable right away Great experience will go along the way....Trust is something u earn..& they deserve it Again thank you Juan & Pablo
I would like to say that I needed help with the droptop getting stuck on my Benz so I went to European Auto. What a blessing !!! We got the top down and locked safely . I offered to pay and and was told to keep it. I'll never forget that. That was a great experience for me. Thank you so much , European Auto. 😁
Juan and Jesus are awesome! They truly helped my son with his BMW. They care more about helping than the money. Gave us a payment plan and were so much help. Will keep them as our mechanics. Thank you so much!
Honest, polite and extremely knowledgeable! Had to have my engine replaced on my 2006 325i E90. The dealer "Monterey BMW" gave us the bad news first. Unhappy with the options provided by the dealership we brought the car to European Auto for a second opinion. Juan at European Auto was able to verify the diagnosis and provide us with options the dealer could not. We put a used engine that they order from a company. Bottom line is i got my car back and she runs just as strong as ever all at a price i could manage. Thanks guys!!
