AutoZone Auto Parts in Salinas

The staff is usually friendly and will assit when asked a question. There have been a few times I have placed an online order and received the email telling me it was ready to be picked up. I arrive at the store, and they can't find the order that was supposed to have been pulled already. Twice I have placed an online order early in the morning and ended up having to go to the store over 5hrs later to ask about the order. Also, they really need to get bags, so when you purchase more than a few items. You can carry them out of the store. Sometimes they will find a box you can use. But the last few purchases, they didn't even have a box.

I called Auto Zone today & spoke with Will. I told him my problem & told him I thought it was the battery. I went to the store & Will checked my battery & it wasn’t good. I bought a new battery & to my surprise he put it in my truck. So the experience I had was great & truck fixed for now lol. Will is the manager & he takes such great care of customers. I will be back for more products when needed. Great service!! Highly recommended 👍

Came in a few days ago and some short guy with the most hilarious patchy beard was being nothing but disrespectful and rude. Very surprised he claims to be a manager because how could someone hire a guy into that position. Patchy sounded very depressed and hating life so he seems to take it out on customers which gives AutoZone a pretty bad look. Asked a simple question and for some reason he couldn't comprehend it so he just sat there saying "I'm not doing anything for you." I just wanted a little help but what do I expect from someone who has no people skills at all. Not surprised this establishment has 2 stars on yelp which is a lot more in line with what I experienced vs the 4 on Google. Hopefully you guys figure out what to do with Patchy cause from the looks of the reviews he as drove dozens of customers to O'reillys, me being on of them.

Poor customer service. One guy working and two others walking around like zombies. Would acknowledge you were waiting. No eye contact. Felt bad for the guy doing all the work

if I could give a no star rating i would shoot even a no star is generous. Its pretty bad when you got money to spend and you're in a store for 30 minutes and you get watched more Rather than being helped. not once have i been greeted, asked if I needed help, or just said hi. all the staff working right now need a crash course in customer service. they are here to help not play loss prevention. FYI if I wanted to steal something trust me you wouldn't know . PATHETIC
