The city needs to investigate these scumbags. A bunch of shady crooks. Terrible customer service. Rude lowlifes who will rip you off.They never call you back when you want to know the progress about your car. Sammy is an a s s hole who should be in prison.
I would give this place negative stars. They are overall just a pain to go to. I hit a pot hole in my car and it unaligned my car. I took it through AAA insurance since this is a place they send cars to which I will be talking to them about. Well the price ended up being less than my deductible which was good but they themselves said that since there is no visual damage and it passed inspection there is nothing else they can do. There is a huge clunk that happens when I turn the car on the freeway and they said that’s the best they can do so I have to take it to the dealership on my end. If they can’t fix the car completely why give it a mediocre try and bill me and send me somewhere else? Shouldn’t a mechanic be able to fix it rather than sending it to another mechanic? I also had Fatima as my representative there and I would not recommend her. I had to be continuously calling her to get any sort of update on my car and there was issues when I went to initially pick up my car. They were charging me 480 when she had told me the final price was 355. I was about to pay when Sammy pulled up my car and said he wanted them to take another look at it because he heard a loud clunk and questioned why it passed inspection. They held on to it for another day and I got a call the next day to pick up my car because they can’t do anything else to it and that it still sounds funky but there is no visual damage and it passed so there is that. They basically crossed their arms. I go to pick it up and the price is fixed to 355 and I am driving to work after they close and I tried to evade an accident and honk but to my dismay the horn wasn’t working!!! My horn was disconnected! I was just in shock that I was close to being in an accident because a “reputable” mechanic gave me back my car when it’s not up to legal code and my safety features aren’t all working!! I called them and they were closed so I left a voicemail. I called them back today and Sammy picked up and I told him my horn isn’t working and that it’s disconnected and he said I have to wait for Fatima to get back to make an appt to come in for the technician to take a look at it!!! Like what?!?! My horn, a vital safety feature, isn’t working because of them “fixing” my car and they said I have to continue to wait?? I am reporting them to my insurance because this place is so shady and unreliable. I can’t believe they are still running! DO NOT COME HERE. Do not come here if you want your car working properly. Such a disgrace and disappointment to have to deal with their antics. Update: they called me back to try and fix my horn but since they can’t visually see it (of course you can’t visually see it from the outside) that they need to take the bumper off which is going to accumulate more labor that I have to pay. They are telling me to pay them again so they could fix their mistake. Lesson learned. Never coming here again nor recommending them. STEER CLEAR. I took it to the dealership to get it fixed correctly and to top it off they told me the initial alignment the Salinas collision shop did was CROOKED!!
I THOUGHT they did an excellent job fixing my front right headlight. Until I went to replace my bulbs just now and come to find out that they replaced the male bulb connection with an older generation connection! Now the manufacturer recommended replacement bulb I just bought doesn't fit! Now it makes sense why the headlight they worked on went out first. I either need to go spend another $50 on a different bulb that will fit the new connection or buy a new male connection and pay my mechanic to install it because the electrical is beyond my ability. Considering they did this work over a year ago, no way they'll do the right thing and fix it. Customer beware: They will replace your damaged parts with incorrect ones!
I took my car for body repair. They do not keep clients updated about work done. I had to keep calling them for updates. They do not give details about the cost and fees. They only accept cash for the deductible. If you go pick up your car when the bank is closed, you get stuck there for hrs. I would not recommend this place to nobody.
Sammy Aquino and his crew did a superb job on replacing my door after a minor collision. Sammy kept me updated on the progress. Very kind and considerate. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
I have to say they handled our trucks damage very well. They did it in a timely manner and exactly what they quoted. We also asked for a tour of there shop since we have several vehicles. We were impressed with the size and professionalism of the staff. I didn't realize they do all types of vehicles not just Ford. There was one truck in there that had it whole frame replaced. No not a Ford but to realize what they had to do was amazing. Thank you for your hard work. Gregg
If you want to drop off your car and forget about it then this is the place for you. Otherwise, if you care about your vehicle and want it back in a timely manner please consider a different location. Throughout my length of business here I was not provided any updates on my vehicle. I was given an initial date and no follow up occurred. When my pick up date approached I showed up and they stated the vehicle was not ready due to a part not arriving yet. They gave me a new pick up date and again no follow up. Again I showed up and I was not informed prior that it was not ready I had to show up and ask myself. This happened a total of 3 times. The third time I expressed my frustration with the lack of communication and still nothing was done. Again, if you are an individual that wants to be updated and be kept in the loop of what is going on look elsewhere. This place has horrid communication.
I had some pretty bad damages on my 2007 Honda CRV (worse than it looks). Brought it to Salinas Collision Repair. I got a quick estimate and got the car back the day it was promised. I was so impressed with the work they did on my vehicle i decided to write a review. When i got my car back i was surprised that even my rear window was working. This team went above and beyond. They truly exceeded my expectation. The communication was also great. I was regularly updated with the status of my vehicle. Seriously, thank you guys!! I will definitely recommend this shop!!! I am so happy with the results!!

They never really fixed my sister trunk it would get stuck or it wouldn t detect it closed Took another car once in a tow truck and they refused the AAA tow truck driver to drop it off.
This body shop is the worst. My car was in their body shop for three days and during this time they broke my cars windshield and they didnt assume any re- sponsibility. The manager in charge Mark Duliba was very rude and unprofessional.

Salinas collision repair repainted my truck entirely. They did an absolutely terrific job, my paint before was aged and peeling but after the job Salinas collision repair did now it looks like brand new! Also planning on taking it back to some suspension upgrades!
DO NOT trust this place they try to scam you told me that the repair for a collision was gonna be 25k and the hit wasn t bad at all barely did any damage and found papers in the car showing the grand total for labor and repairs being 12k with parts included. They kept trying to force us to total the car and tried to not let us take out the intake that i bought for it. Take it anywhere else but here!!!
I highly recommend this body shop for Car Maintenance. Not easy for me to say that, especially since I have had bad experiences in the past, with different automobile body shops. But Salinas Collision Repair outshines any body shop that I know of ! The estimator assigned to my Elantra Hyundai car was Anthony Macias. I found Anthony to be knowledgeable, respectful and concern with giving the highest level of customer service. When we first met on October 26,2020, Anthony provided all details and answered all my questions ,regarding the car bumper,trunk and paint repair. Which gave me a comfortable feeling and a level of trust with the Management staff and body shop Technicians at Salinas Body Repair. I found this body shop ,to go beyond the normal professional procedures in Car Maintenance. Anthony gave me helpful advise in car rental information, and discussed in detail the procedures involved at each level of the exterior & interior of my vehicle repair. That to me,was outstanding customer care ! On October 30 , Anthony called me,to say your car is ready . What I will add now to this review ,is why I trust this body shop . Picked up the car late Friday Evening.Anthony showed me pictures that were taken of the work done on my car . The car paint job on the bumper was outstanding,the dents and bumper interior reinforcement hardware were positioned properly on both sides of my vehicle.And to top that off ,my car was cleaned inside and out.Salinas Body Repair didnt miss a thing ? On the contrary ,they added ? Can you believe this? They even cleaned my car tire rims? Let me end with this .I know why this Body Shop does well .If you have Strong Management Leadership, it will show on your staff,like Anthony Macias. Unfortunately my poor 2011 Toyota Sienna has been hit on a few occasions. Each time I ve been worried that it won t be able to get to pre-accident condition. Each time Mark and his team at Salinas Collision Repair have returned my van in better condition. All was done within the promised time or better. Worst place ever the staff is really rude. And very unresponsive. I spoke to jan from Salinas Collusion Repair. And everytime i ask a question she have VERY high attitude to do her job or to check up on something. They keep telling me my car was going to be ready 3 TIMES out of the week first it came up friday .then it come up with next Wednesday and the so on and so on. It was just excuse after excuse. I HIGHLY dont recommend this PLACE to anyone! You will be stuck with no car for a while. I got reccomend to this place and i regret it
Time to fix the car was supposed to be 1 week. Car was there for a whole month excuse behind excuse I will never go back
