Legit Shop! They told me I had a transmission leak after getting an oil change at one of the “big box” shops. The fact that Scotty was so busy that he had to push me out a week said something already. I dropped my car off and caught an Uber back home to punch the clock. Almost immediately, Scotty called and asked if I could come back so he could show me something. I came back around noon during my lunch. Scotty provided me evidence that it was not my transmission but the oil screw that was leaking, and the condensation from the AC was causing a drip. I have heard of the legend of the honest mechanic and am very happy that I have found one. Did I say he did not charge me anything for this information? Give this cat your business!!

Went there many years ago had a transmission rebuilt it worked for years sold that van, I was very happy with the rebuild. Last week went again fixed my f150 in 1 hour. Fixed what needed to be fixed did not make up things to be fixed. Did not overcharge. I believe if Scotty says what needs to be done to your transmission then it needs to be done, he will give an honest answer. I've been to a transmission shop twice in my life. Scottys A1 both times and I've walked out satisfied both times.

Scotty's is a first class transmission repair shop. Their knowledge and service are exceptional. They are old school - they do all their own work on transmissions. They know the internals. No drop and swap here. They have all the special tools needed to repair your transmission instead of forcing you to buy a new one. They are straight forward and never have any hidden agendas. They back all their work hands down and make no excuses. For example, I had a transmission overhaul on my '04 Ford explorer. I brought it back for its few hundred mile check up and mentioned a slow fluid leak. Scotty put it on the lift and showed me the problem (an o-ring leak in the drain/fill assembly). Scotty personally drove to the parts store for the new plug and had my vehicle repaired and me out the door in 45 minutes. Scotty's may not be the cheapest but the are the best value in the area.

Efficient, precise, informative every step of the process. A transmission on visual display in the clean ,organized seating area allowed for a hands on explanation of what needed to be done. Scotty was the most professional, personable, amazing guy. I left all my stress and worry at the door and knew I was in great hands. My truck runs great, no more transmission leak . After the transmission in my work truck went out, I needed it fixed quickly. The tranny went out on Sunday, I called Scotty's the next day, within an hour I had a diagnosis, and my transmission was rebuilt and ready to go Wednesday afternoon. My truck was actually ready before I was ready to take it back. There was a small issue with the fill tube, I brought the truck back just this past Monday and it was fixed within an hour. Would definitely go back if I needed to

Good, honest work done in a timely manner. I truly appreciated the information Scotty shared about both vehicles in my family. I will return to this shop if i ever have problems again, I own a Chrysler so yea... I highly recommend that anyone give these guys a call if your vehicle is having issues. Took my old Ford Explorer to Scotty and he and his team took care of me. They were honest about the problems and what it would take to fix it. I feel confident in their abilities and happy with the service they provided. I ended up not getting my car completely fixed at that time because to me it wasn't worth the trouble but I'd definitely go back in the future.

I am a single female who went into this business. Originally I went in because my check engine light was on. They checked out the car for 2-hours and stated they did not want to do any work prematurally, they did not charge me and ask me to bring it back when the light was present. About 2-3 weeks later I went back and they checked the car again. They were very good at explaining the problem and gave me options based on what they found and what they have experienced with this same problem. The estimate and the total was right on what they quoted even after they found two other problems once they took things apart. The staff was very friendly, they called when they said they would, and when I had questions they answered them. They also provide a two week check-up after the work was completed. My car runs fine, no check engine light, and I feel great that I could trust them to take care of my car and not take advantage of a single female with little knowledge of how cars work. I would highly recommend them to anyone.
