Wish I could give a negative star. This place is Horrible, they just sell you a battery dont care about the car type or group size of battery, give it 3 months top before you need a new battery not to mention the battery they sold you will not even have your car functioning properly. BBB need to shut them down!
Batteries work vary well at first but than when they start to fail and not charge and you put a voltage meter to it it registers 12 volts but doesn't have the amps to turn the engine, I've had that problem with these Batteries that register 12 volts, unlike the other Batteries when they fail they register less than 12 volts and you know that the battery is no good.
Worst Company in Sacramento! Batteries are trash! Batteries doesn't work past 6 months. Customer service is the worst. Please see attached video for how they slam doors in customer's face. The manager does drugs and tried dropping a battery on my foot.
The service was incredible and fast with very reasonable prices. They removed my old battery, installed the new one, and even put corrosion protection for the new one and I was in and out in minutes. I will definitely come back here again.
The batteries at this place do not last long and they are way too expensive $145 for a used battery!!!! No thank you and then they don't even tell you what group your car is in because every car is not supposed to have the same battery. I recommend going to battery bill. I got a BRAND NEW battery for $95. And they install it and take your old and dispose of it for you.
Customer beware. Advice from a 30 year ASE Master Certified mechanic, business owner, and leader in the community. DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. Here's my story. Note, the comfort level of the employee with how the situation was treated just shows this is a regular occurrence and this is NOT the exception. I purchased a NEW battery from this company 3/5/2024. A group 78. Proof of purchase was provided in the form of the original sales receipt. Upon placing the battery on their table, I was immediately told that the battery needed to be charged. The employee was advised the battery does not hold a charge and that it had a bad cell. Master Technician here. I know how to test a battery. The employee then looks at the receipt and says the battery doesn't match the receipt. Their label. Date stickers removed to match receipt, proper group size, etc. Employee then argues saying this is a used battery and not new. Well yes, of course it's used. I've used it for 2 months before it failed. Then the employee says I took the wrong battery when I purchased it back in March. Hmm. But the battery matches the receipt and the employee can't dispute that. After reiterating that I have all my things in order and all the proof plus some required to meet their warranty requirements, battery replacement was still refused. As mentioned earlier, the comfort level of the employee finding a reason to deny the warranty replacement suggests this happens more often than not. Interestingly enough, due to this interaction I chose to take my business elsewhere. The Napa Autoparts 1 street north and not only did I get a brand new battery with warranty, it was $5 cheaper out the door and came from a reputable company that will stand behind their product. Save yourself the headache and buy from Walmart or Napa or Autozone or O'Reilly. Skip this joke of a company. You're not only going to save yourself money, but a headache and hassle later should you need to exchange your battery. Note for the "knowitall" employee. A bad battery won't hold a charge. You can also have a battery that shows 12 volts DC but when a load is applied the voltage hits zero or less than 5 volts. Get a real battery tester. Or do a specific gravity test.
Had to wait a couple weeks for them to have my battery in stock but once they had it service was quick and the employee that came out was very knowledgeable. I like to ask questions and he was polite & happy to answer them.
My truck’s batteries (Cummins diesel, requires two batteries) weren’t holding charge anymore. Shopped around for replacements: Big Hog Battery had the best prices compared to chain stores. Contacted them and Carlos was able to come to my work the next day with two new batteries and installed them. Got it done within five minutes, and saved me money in the process. Would definitely recommend!
