I had a swollen lithium battery and they knew how to take care of it. Not many places accept these kinds of batteries so it was a relief that they accepted it. They also donate one pack of batteries for every pack that is bought. Fast and understanding customer service overall.

I m so disappointed. I ordered a car key with remote programming service and cutting on phone on May2. They told me there was only one last at store.Then I sent my father to get the key. They told my father that they need to order online and would contact him when it was delivered, cuz the key doesn t match my father s car. On May10, my farther went to the store for key programming. They cannot get the work done. They told my father the issue might be cause by the car battery and recommend their battery. Changing the battery didn t help. Then they called the support department who told them that the engine light was on. Engine issue might cause that programming didn t work. Okay, we got the engine fixed and went there again on May13. The employee offered us refund or giving a try later after programming failed again. I told him I need to consider, cuz batteries plus gave an unbeatable price. And the reviews at this store are pretty good, so we guess that my father s vehicle may have unknown issue which cause the programming cannot run successfully. However, tdy my father just get a new remote car key from another locksmith. It took him 20-30min. Therefore, I called batteries plus and ask a refund. The employee refused and provided programming it again. I definitely don t wanna come again. I am tired and don t trust this store.

Cool store! These guys have batteries for anything and everything, cars to key fobs and all things in between. I was actually looking for a place to recycle some fluorescent light tubes and they do that too. I know where I m headed the next time I need a car battery

I needed a new key for my Civic and didnt want to go to the dealership. After prepaying online, the shop called and verified the fob was correct for my make and model, and then I headed to the store. Eric quickly cut a new key and programmed it to my car. It only took about 15 minutes, and it was way cheaper than the dealership. All around professional and prompt service.

Thank goodness for this place! While cleaning out an older relative s garage, I found over a dozen of plastic containers full of discarded single-use batteries. She d had quite the collection of them, dating back at least five years, and some had started corroding. Finding a place to dispose of them in an environmentally-conscious manner was not as an easy as expected. After hours of scrolling the internet, calling around, and driving to different locations, I was so relieved to happen upon Batteries Plus. Friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to take the hundreds, if not thousands, of batteries off of my hands. They gave me advice on how to properly dispose of batteries (didn t know that you need to cover both terminals with tape so that they don t leach!). Recommended a cost-effective, rechargeable solution for my relative to use going forward and offered to place an order should what I need not be available in store. Will definitely be back!

This location has so many batteries ranging from regular AAA, Electric Go Kart, Electric Scooters, Power Wheel Batteries to electric wheelchair batteries . They also offer FOB key service. I was quoted a very affordable price. The customer service is exceptional as well. Eric was very helpful !!

These guys are awesome! I bought a 10 year old mp3 player (Sony Walkman NWZ-E385 Brand New) off of eBay thinking it would work out of the box. I was wrong... the batteries was dead even though it was a brand new and never used. It was released in the Year 2013 or 2014 so the batteries deteriorated in storage. Luckily for me, I had a spare NWZ-E374 that I barely used and the battery was working perfectly, so I had a spare battery. I told Alex and Jason, that I wanted the battery swap for the 16 gb NWZ-E385 from the 8gb NWZ-E374. Even though they dont really specialize in fixing mp3 players, they agreed to fix it as a special case. Alex told me that they would need a soldering kit in order to fix the Walkman mp3 player. I waited for a few days, and got a call that they fixed the mp3 player and it is ready for pick up. Even though they dont normally fix mp3 players, they went above and beyond. The Walkman mp3 player works perfectly! Top notch customer service and a great deal. I paid only $15 Plus Tax to get this fixed. Thank you so much! Highly recommended! 5 STARS!

This store recently opened and Im glad it did because I live around the area and it was time my Xterra needed a new battery. My last battery was also from Batteries Plus (Brea) and I only picked it up instead of replacing it on the spot. Just minutes after placing my order on their website I got a call from a gentleman verifying my order and informed me that my battery is ready. So I jumpstarted my car and headed over. First thing I noticed was how accommodating and knowledgeable the staff was. They listened to my explanation, tested my old battery, then confirmed my warranty expired and rolled out a tool cart to assist me with the operation. The new battery was slightly taller so I had to make minor modifications to my custom cabling and they helped me alongside. We had some good conversations and after 10 minutes it was all done. I saved myself a trip for battery core refund. They made sure my car started before finalizing the bills. Replacing a car battery has never been this pleasant. These people know how its done. Solid experience.

STAY AWAY! Go to Auto Zone! I just had a bad experience exactly A.G. shared his feedback on Yelp. Eric was unprofessional and rude cursing F word to me. I asked him a new battery for my VW Tiguan. He said he has it and will install it for me. After he was trying to figure it how remove to the old battery out, seems like he did not what hes doing. He installed the new battery without secure the bracket and the battery was tilt and loose. I asked him to secure the bracket correctly. He said You dont need the bracket. If you want to put the bracket on, you do it. It is your car I told him if you didnt know how to do it, you need to tell me first so I can go to the other place, I did ask you if you can do it or not. I had my right arm surgery. I couldn t carry or move anything that is heavy. He said I did change the batter for you. I told him you did it incorrectly and incomplete! Then come the worse part. I asked him if you dont secure the bracket and you refuse to do so. You need to put my old battery back. Guess what. He refused to do it and walked back to the store!! I followed him and told him you need to do it. Or gave me your manager phone number. He said I am not going to do it and my manager is not here. I am not giving his phone number. After about 5 mins of argument. He went back to my car to put the old batter back. But he didnt secure the bracket! The battery was tilted and loose! I decided to drive my car to Auto Zone in El Monte. The guy at Auto Zone was very helpful, professional and friendly. He did everything correctly in less time at lower price. While this incident happened. There was another customer watching. He was shaking his head and agreed that this is a worse business ever!

They do recycle batteries for a small fee of $1.50 per 1lbs at the Rosemead location. :)

We went to the store to recycle a few fluorescent lights. The process was very quick and the cashier was very courteous. It does cost $1.50 per pounds to recycle, but that is reasonable.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at this establishment. The customer service was abysmal. I brought in my phone for a screen replacement, only to walk out with it in the same condition it came in. Not only was my screen not replaced but now my phone does not have signal and its not charging. There was no service provided and no attempt to fix the issue. Not only was my phone not repaired, but I was also not given any explanation or apology for the lack of service. Its unacceptable to waste customers time like this. I would strongly advise against using this business for any repair needs.

!!!!BUYER BE AWARE !!! total ripe off brought phone in because it was not charging they told me it would be the charging port $88 to replace ..I agreed and then they said it might be the battery which will be $103 I was reluctant since I can get a new phone for that price but the guy said its probably not that so youll only pay for the charging port... I came back to pick up my phone since they said it was ready come to find out my phone is not working they tell me its not either of those things but I have to pay the total anyways ... I had them take the charger port out since it is not the problem but they are still having me pay the battery and a delivery fee ... and I still have to buy a new phone ... dont come here unless you want to be ripped off and have your time wasted

I dropped my iphone 8 and cracked the screen. The lady that works there helped me replace it and also changed the battery while she was at it all under an hour.

So I just picked up a new to me, Tesla and it was time to grab a remote battery. No problem, Ill just swing by CVS. Not a size CR2354 in sight. No problem, Ill order one on Amazon. They wont deliver for several days. Ok, so I scour the interweb and I come across this little gem of a store located in the city of Rosemead. I gave them a call, and was greeted by Jason, who was more than happy to locate the battery and even install it for me. Oh did I mention this was during one of the wetness downpours of 2023? Well, that just made the trip even more interesting. I get to the store, it is spotless, clean and very welcoming. Jason was friendly, and knew exactly what he was doing. Although I picked up a couple of batteries, I know Ill certainly be back for more in the near future. If youre ever in the need for specialty batteries and youre near the San Gabriel Valley, do not hesitate to drop by Batteries Plus. They will take care of you!

Both were odd coin style batteries. So popped in and luckily they had just what I needed. The staff were super helpful and knowledgeable. Excellent customer service! I decided to give this Batteries Plus store a call when my 2014 Toyota Prius car battery died. Although I was used to going to Autozone for things like this, I found out that Autozone wouldn t help you install the new battery. Not only did one of the store manager s (Jason) help me jump my car, his associates switched out the old with the new battery in less than 10 minutes! The price of the battery was also cheaper than several stores I called, including Autozone. Overall, I m very happy with the product and friendly service!! I was surprised they had all kinds of batteries in the store including laptop and cell phone batteries. I ll be recommending this place to all my local family and friends!

Work iPhone was having issues lasting the entire day despite being fully charged. Wanted to make one last attempt prior to getting a new phone by replacing the battery. Dropped by on the way back from a meeting and the staff (forgot her name) was very helpful. They were very professional and handled my phone with care. Went to grab a coffee with a friend nearby and by the time I came back the job was completed. Very mindful of time which was appreciated. Total cost was $60. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and having issues with the battery life.

What is this madness? They have literally everything here. I have a bunch of dead watches because I rarely see any watch repair stores anymore. To my surprise, they replace watch batteries, even for phones too! Woohoo!

Calling store was friendly and they were able to provide some feedback on what could be the problem with our Rode Mic set up. We wasted 1.5 hrs as our equipment wasn t performance /recording the interview and luckily Battery Plus was open on Sunday and we were able to replace our wireless equipment battery correctly. The battery in my landline phone stopped working and I couldn t find it anywhere online and by golly these guys have it! Yoonie showed me around the store they also have a lot of other unique batteries like for dog collars, cameras, Roomba, etc. What a weird and cool store!

Needed Tesla and BMW battery for the keys and Battery Plus had it all! Didn t want to wait for it from Tesla s scheduled appointments, decided to look for it locally and was I surprised at their amazing selection of inventory. Great pricing as well and convenient location. Saw some LED lights as well that I ll be looking at for my next housing project as well.

I manage a large fleet of vehicles at work. Their associate encouraged me to sign up for a business account and it s been great! They just delivered some Group 31 batteries early in the morning to me so I can have the vehicles ready for the different service routes. Really great customer service and go the extra mile.

And there s no fee for labor in changing the car battery. Will definitely recommend to friends and families .

While visiting from NorCal, my tesla popped up a warning that original 12v batt needs replacement. I didn t want to risk getting locked out or have the trip interrupted by whatever a dead 12v could bring, I went to find a replacement. I ve had good experiences with batteries plus in NorCal for my other veh s, and I found this one in Rosemaed to be no different. They showed me couple battery options for the tesla and even helped me installed it. Overall, positive experience and would use them if I m local.
