I have owned my 1968 Mercury Cougar for over 44 years, as a matter of fact it is/was my first car (high school) I am the only one who drives it, and I rarely let anyone work on it. Ervie and Shift Management was my choice for a transmission rebuild. Not only were they upfront and honest their prices were much lower than every other shop I called. They went above and beyond and will stand by their work. Thanks guys!! Paul B. EDH.
Year 2000: Masterful manual transmission rebuild and reinstall for my vintage Toyota truck. Year 2024: Remembered how good they were a quarter century earlier, and called them to ask for advice regarding challenging Ford automatic transmission swap on a vintage motor home. . Red was patient and gave me authoritative counsel, allowing me the confidence to go forward. I would choose this shop for rebuild or repair any day of the week and twice on Sundays.
I'm a business owner and have been using this shop for years. They have rebuilt many transmissions for my fleet and we never had any problems. Friendly staff, fast turnaround and quality work.
These guys are awesome! I drove my motorhome down Sacramento from Washington state ,when I got here my front seal in the transmission started leaking . I dropped it off on a Friday and had it back the next Tuesday. They replaced the front seal and torque converter and did a oil change for me (something they usually don't do ) the bill was only $1500.00 . I was very pleased with the service the did !
Had my truck back on the road in a few days with new transmission, great service and prices and easy to deal with thanks for the great job
they really know there trannys handled my car with care and got it done without any issues..
They solved a problem i was having with my car that no one else could figure it out! Went to 4 different places before then because of a knocking sound on the driver side front wheel. Fair price and fast service. Couple hours after dropping my car off the CV Axle had been replaced and car drives like new! Super friendly customer service definitely went above and beyond! Will be coming back for sure!
Had my transmission rebuilt for my rat rod, it immediately failed. Called them up and they asked me to bring the car in this time so he could see it in the vehicle. After 3 weeks of dodging my calls, and lame excuses they finally got it done. I went to get it and had a $400 bill, but in all fairness they did fix a coolant leak for me also. I picked it up and the transmission felt pretty. Good until on the way home the radiator fell into the motor. After examining the radiator there were 8 fasteners not installed. nkw the design of my rat rod requires you to remove. Shroud etc to add coolant. This is why all the fasteners were missing. I called them up and told them what happened and he said we never put coolant in it. I said but you fixed the coolant leak and he says yeah but we ran out of coolant so didn't put any in! Are you kidding me? This is beyond the beyond so we will see how it plays out but I'm not going away quietly, I hope you if you read this I save you so me headache, and you find someplace reputable because this is not it!
