Firestone Complete Auto Care in Redwood City

Visiting from out of town, had an issue with our car. Went to Auto Zone which diagnosed the problem in less than 5 minutes. This repair shop took two and half hours and $120 to tell us the same thing. They told us they couldn t fix it because they didn t have the part, which was at the Auto Zone less than a mile away. Very disappointed.

The management here seems disorganized. They gave me an appointment and then canceled it last minute, without offering any clear explanation. When I came in today, I was told the service would take 2 hours, but it s been much longer with no updates or communication. The lack of coordination and customer care makes it clear that they need to improve how they manage appointments and service times.

This place helped me in my time of need yesterday. I will definitely be coming back here with my other vehicles when they require service. Thank you guys!

Very professional and friendly! They Identified the issue in my tire and fixed it fast within 2 hours. They even noticed my car was running out of windshield fluid, and helped me refill it without ask. Definitely recommend!

Not good.....got here at 10 am Said it will be ready in an hour. At 11am Not even go into garage in the hour... then they said we have to wait another hour. What! I wish they would setup there appointment up Better and not tell you on the phone we got time to do it...

We were able to schedule online just a day ahead for the services we needed. The service manager, Michael, was friendly, informative and efficient. There was service timing and cost transparency and we thought the pricing was fair. We were also told about what upcoming services would be due when reaching a mileage point and given a recommendation to start on them because these would cost a hefty amount.

Always very easy drop off and pick up. They dont seem to recommend unnecessary fixes. Ive already sent three friends there and theyve had a good experience. Weve been going to this Firestone for almost 15 years. Very satisfied.

I traveled far from home down the coast of CA and got a hole in the side of my tire. Also found out my back breaks weren t working as good as they should. Firestone took great care of my car and also kept me updated the entire time my car was worked on. They answered every question I had and were respectful. Most reliable place I ve ever been to.

Had blown a brake light and needed it fixed right away. They were quick, kind and awesome. Will definitely be back!!!!

I liked the professional service and the clear outline of what I was getting. It was also easy to get a quote online, and schedule the tire replacement, knowing what Id be paying, including taxes, etc.

They gave me a very expensive quote of -$4000, to supposedly fix the A/C of my car (buy a new compressor and condenser). I took the car to the dealer and they fixed it for $300!!. They found a short circuit, fixed it and the compressor and condenser were in perfect condition!!! Unbelievable! They wanted to charge me a month s worth of my salary and yet, the problem wouldn t have been fixed!!! ( I will write a good review in Yelp too)

The vehicle drop off and pick up were done so efficiently, I was in and out like it was a drive thru. Plus the service advisor was polite and professional. I very happy with this location.

They over charge! They charged for 4 spark plugs $247.99! If you know car parts you know they are a few bucks a piece! For coolant they charged $66.24, if you know you can get coolant for $20 or less! Im not the one that went to the shop but i looked @ her statement & I think my friend got way taken advantage of! CARPE DIEM! Not very professional. I purchased the lifetime alignment in Florida, and they made a mistake with assigning it to my old car that I also purchased the alignment for. This shop in Redwood canceled my appointment because of that, after it took a month to secure. I wrote an honest review about it, and they asked me to come back to make it right. Then they decided to lie to me. They told me my front left tire couldnt be aligned because of an issue. I asked them to clarify, and they couldnt. So I took it to Tesla and paid $275 for an alignment, and they aligned it with no problem. I asked them if anything was broken bc Firestone told me they couldnt complete it bc something was. Tesla said everything was fine they even tested it. Apparently, they hear of this happening a lot due to laziness at other shops. I attached a photo of both alignments. Tesla (left) Firestone(right). The Actual is what firestone returned my car to me with. The lower part of the Tesla page is what they returned the car to me like. There is a noticeable difference in the way the car drives and no more warbling sound. Hind sight 20/20? A company in the business of replacing tires has an incentive to ensure your alignment isnt perfect. I am sure this must be illegal.

We were able to get an appointment quickly and service didnt take long. However, we went in for an oil change, and they gave us the most expensive oil available without informing us of less expensive options. Our bill was almost double what we wanted or needed to spend as a result. Im not sure we would use Firestone again after this experience.

I think they dont give the necessary attention, I arrived because my car needs to change tires and it turns out that they only saw it and told me we dont have those types of tires, we have to order them ok I asked them how long does it take and they told me I answered that they couldnt guarantee me because that type of tire is special, it could take one to 3 weeks and it would be better to come in 4, he told me, I laughed and told him seriously and he said yes, really, I dont know if he didnt want to sell me or it was true that it takes so long. I went to Hankook in Menlo Park and in 45 minutes I had my 4 new tires aligned and balanced.

Today I had my headlight bulb replaced by the team at Firestone in Redwood City. The customer service was incredible. Brendon was the mechanic and knew exactly how to fix the complicated replacement within minutes. Marvin was assisting me and was very friendly and helpful. He had the replacement completed within fifteen minutes and didnt try and sell me any additional services or charge me any extra costs. He made it an efficient and affordable experience and even recommended some off-roading trails. I will definitely be sending friends and family to have their cars taken care of by this team!

Friendly place

Got tires replaced and and supposedly an oil change. So after a month for some reason I been wanting to check the oil in this truck, well turns out its bone dry. I think Firestone charged to drain the oil and Im guessing to add oil it might have been extra. TRASH SERVICE STAY AWAY, Im lucky this is a rental truck and not my personal. I will be reporting them to enterprise.

I got a great deal on four new tires. And sixty extra dollars off using my firestone card.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The parking is limited. its on a busy street pla to drop off car.

The curtesy check is blindly checked off. This cabin and engine air filter are obviously bad there are literally mouse droppings in the engine filter. It is marked as good and that the manufacturer would recommend change based on mileage. I am upset because I can not trust anything else they said now but I paid for it. It was expensive and they didn t do the services they said they did. I might as well just do everything myself if I want it done properly.

The price was right, the people were professional and friendly, the work was done quickly. It was all good!

staff is always so nice and honest. I had a low pressure tire, which i thought may have a nail or might even need a new tire. The staff checked it thoroughly and could find anything wrong. I was impressed with their honesty. Such a relief and I will continue to use their services!

I loved being able to book the visit online and when I brought the car in, Gerardo provided excellent, efficient service and got me out of the door in great time and with a much improved car (checked battery, new tires, alignment). Overpriced service, predatory work recommendations. Low coolant in reservoir does not mean a flush is needed, cleaning corroded battery terminals means running a wire brush over them, not a $50 job.

Ive used Firestone for over 2 decades and have had everything from one star to five star service. Today got 3 because they did what I asked for in a timely manner, for once. But they over looked several issues, tried to sell me on repairs to be done the same day, after my car was back together and ready to go, and there were several communication barriers that made the service difficult to work with. Three stars is probably being generous.

Very bad attitude and service!!!

Called ahead and made what I thought was an appointment for an oil change. Turned out it wasnt an appointment and the oil change took 3 hours but I only found this out after the first hour. They also tried to sell me new tires even though mine are fine and have a few thousand more miles in them (as stated by another shop). Will not be returning.

I brought my tire to the shop at 1030 am. As I have purchased all my tires there for this vehicle. I was checked in fast then waited for 1hr and 15 minutes for someone to tell me they dont have any of the tires for my truck which are Firestone destination L3. As I was waiting the 3 people working the office where messing around not concerned with customers being taken care of. It appeared they only had 2 guys working the shop... They told me they have one tire in San Mateo store and that it should only take 30 to 40 minutes. I waited 4 more hrs!!!!!! 6 hrs for one tire I have to hand it to them for the great customer service .

I have visited Firestone Redwood City Branch for allligmant. The store manager Michael Hawat was amazing, proffesional and so friendly. We set up schedule so easy. He care for my car so much and did inspection for my concern. All stuff and technicians were awesome at this location. They did great job. The waiting area also so comfortable. Highly recommended.

Scheduled an appointment for breaks and alignment. Apparently no break service on Sundays. When I mentioned if I could get an alignment through a partner Silver Rock. They said, they had no idea who they were .

One of the worst customer services I ever experienced. Very expensive compared to other shops that provide the same service. They also dont keep the appointments and promises.

This place used to be my go-to store for tire rotations and oil changes. But the new management is really bad. Twice now, I ve made an appointment online only to find it was not honored when I showed up. Today I even called to confirm my appointment before going (given the bad experience last time). They said I was good to go, then I showed up and they said they re too busy. I will go literally anywhere else in the future.

Terrible experience. I have been here 2 times. The first time they quoted me over a grand for a radiator repair. The second time I came in for a wheel alignment was told to wait an hour and a half in the lobby until they finished the service and 4 hours later they told me to go home because they couldnt do it anymore within the day. I stayed from 8am to 12 noon. Also their appointments dont matter at all. They randomly tell you to show up at 8am hoping that they can take you in. I think its mainly this branch that is so bad because Ive been to other Firestones and they are not as bad.

Tire repair for rental car

Just terrible! We dropped the car because a tire had a nail in it. When we picked up the car they said the brake pads in the front and back were so bad that the car was unsafe to drive! They said they were not going to release the car unless we had it towed out of there or had it repaired there! We had zero problems with the brakes so I told them they are crazy and give me the keys to my car. We went around and around they finally let us out of there. I didn t ask for a brake check so I m not sure why they checked them except to make more money. I checked the rear brakes and they were fine only half worn. The front was 3/4 used not wearing the rotors not dangerous at all. Terrible way of trying to get more business. Don t trust him with your car.

It was my second time taking my car there and both times I had an unpleasant experience. Both times I made an appointment. The first time, I got there for my appointment and they did not take my car until an hour and 30 minutes later. The second time, the online website let me book an appointment at 7 am. I got there and it was closed. I waited 20 minutes until I decided to take off. Definitely will not be taking my car to firestone again.

A person was charged $110 for a dignistic. A 2 minute diagnosis for $110. Ladies beware, predatory charges. Do not use this facility. Not honest work. Services

My oil was changed and the seal on the filter wasnt put in. It caused my car to spray oil all over the fuel injector, grill, and now my crankcase sensor. I had them do another oil change, brake fluid, air filter...now my car has the check engine light on and will not pass smog. The diagnostic test cost me hundreds of dollars. The car isnt working right now. He told me, have the oil cleaned off, give me the bill, and I will pay for it I cleaned it myself. This caused problems with my car now.

Not really happy. They are basic liars. Lied to me several times. Had a flat tire. Said they ll call back by evening. Didn t. Next day said vehicle will be ready that day. Wasn t. Don t care attitude about the customer. You take my money! Obviously for something? Work, man! Your job is to take care of the customer. When I am there, walk with me to the car. Take a look instead of dismissing me. Maybe it s an easy fix. Other shops do that. When got the car back, I hear noise from the tires. What the hell! I thought you fixed it! Didn t bother to do a final check? Where is the noise coming from? I suspect if it s the right tire. Take your no-care attitude to your home: I pay so you do your job for me. I don t pay for the no-care attitude. Very disappointed.

Scheduled appointment in advance to get a flat repaired. Arrived on time for my appot. at the store and it was fully closed up with nobody around. It was during business hours (atleast as shown on Google maps), the open sign in the window was lit, but not a soul in sight. Very bad experience, wont be planning to return to firestone, atleast this location, anytime soon.

I ve taken my car to this place a couple of times, and I ve scheduled appointments countless times. You would expect an appointment to be followed through with, but it s as if they don t get the concept of the word appointment . I ve taken this car for an oil change in the past, and I came back just to find my car leaking even more oil and oil all over my transmission. I needed my car back for the next day for an important work meeting, but I was unable to get there due to this problem they cause. I had to take my business elsewhere. I decided to give me a second chance and went for another oil change. I left my car there at 3pm and went to go check it out before they closed only for me to find out that they didn t touch the car at all. Let me save you guys time and money and take your business elsewhere guy. One of the biggest problems I believe is that they probably don t have a district manager to manage this location.

They turned me away after I showed up for my appointment; they didnt have staff to do the job. Then the Firestone store manager would not honor the lifetime wheel alignment, because he does not make a commission on free services. Avoid this store. Go to Wheel Works down the road. They honored my lifetime alignment, and did a better job all in 30 minutes, with no appointment. Great service and mechanics at Wheel Works, on El Camino. (Bridgestone is the parent company of Firestone, WheelWorks and Tires Plus.)

Long lines, only 1 customer service associate. Even with an appointment, i have to wait 30 minutes to get assistance. Dissapointing. I know they are hiring but plenty of out of work folks out there. Not sure whats going on.

DO NOT GO TO THIS Firestone in Redwood City on El Camino Real. Michael specifically is worst kind of manager/employee anyone can ever deal with. He scammed my mother In to several hundreds of dollars and requested for her to leave a rental there so he would return it but instead ended up using it over the weekend. We threaten to call cooperate to inform them and all he said is you have to have proof he said that or did that and we don t have cameras here. Originally the car was supposed to take 2 days to fix but he ended up taking 8 days making excuses if receiving wrong parts and saying he was the only one at the shop so he couldn t work on cars and help customers MICHAEL IS THE TRUE DEFINITION OF THIEF, LIAR, and SCAMMER. Do yourself a favor and do not go there and if you don t believe me look at the the other reviews by other customers just within the past month. I should have read the reviews before taking family s vehicles to a place that s rated 3 stars. That alone tells you there is a lot of dishonest business going on here. You would expect this with a mechanic in the streets but not a huge company like Firestone. Before Michael started there me and my family had been taking cars there for over 10 years. Now me and family will take out business elsewhere. I have already left 3 messages with corporate and they keep saying we will call you back within 48 hours but no calls are returned . At this point it feels like Michael knows they don t investigate nothing so he can do as he wishes. Any other company would have addressed this a long time ago.

They did good job on changing my vehicle tire and battery, the only complaint that I have is that, they couldnt found the special key for my vehicle tires and I had to go down there and show them that it was in the glove box that they claim that it was already search for it lol, other than that it is a good place to take your vehicle.

Have a 2000 Kia with a no start. Had it towed to Firestone and was quoted a $99 diagnostic fee. All it turned out to be was a loose cable at the battery and was charged only 30 bucks. I just found a trustworthy, reliable and honest repair shop.

Excellent quality but the customer service is terrible. We spent $2600 and the front desk rush you like your only buying a $10 burger at McDonald s. Very disappointed but only put up with them because of the great mechanics and standard of quality.

I think every store works different. I wanted to fix my tire because there s a screw in there. So, they said it is not possible to fix and I had to replace 4 tires. 2 tires of the front I replaced like 8 month ago at Firestone in Millbrae. Why Millbrae sell 2 tires and in Redwood City it s not possible? They said my car is AWD cannot replace 2 tires. Well, I went to another store. I didn t buy new tires and they fixed it.

We had a 1:00 pm appointment for front end alignment diagnosis and maintenance. By 4:45 they had done nothing! What a complete waste of time. They should have let us know that they werent actually going to have time to work on our car. Were done with them after years of tire purchases/car maintenance.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME!! After seeing they had many bad reviews I decided to give them a chance anyway and what a mistake that was. I called and made a same a day appointment and i show up 20 mins prior to appointment time only to be told they didnt have me scheduled. After I showed them the email they sent me verifying my appointment they suggested maybe I go somewhere else or comeback in 2 hours and considering I was there because of brake trouble and they are telling me to drive somewhere else or comeback later was very unprofessional imo.

I phoned and booked a 9.30am appointment for an oil change. I took the car in and was told it would take 2 hours. Called again at 11.30am and told they havent started yet and it would be done within the hour. Called again at 12.30pm and was told that it is going onto the rack right now and they are starting work on it, will be done in 45 minutes. I go by at 1.15pm and see my car sitting in the parking lot still - they hadnt even started the work. I was very disappointed to have wasted 4 hours, and to have been lied to. They then offered me a free oil change for another time, which was good compensation for wasting an entire morning. I rebooked my appointment on the phone, and when I turned up for the appointment they said that they only had 1 technician in and wouldnt be able to complete it that day. At this point, the possibility of the free oil change wasnt worth all the wasted time, and I didnt believe it would ever be rescheduled successfully. I decided to ditch the free oil change voucher and went straight to SpeeDee oil change in redwood city - who serviced my car in 35 minutes for a price that was only marginally higher than firestones. I chose to come to firestone because the oil change price was a little cheaper than others in the area, but it was definitely not worth the hassle. I have had good service at this store in the past, but I know that this store is experiencing some staffing issues at the moment with only 1 technician working at a time, so I would not recommend anyone come here for service until that problem is resolved. I understand that they may have staffing issues, but the terrible communication and constant leading me on has left me sour. If you have an appointment with a customer, you should at least phone them in advance to let them know their appointment is cancelled and not just tell them when they arrive in store. I wont be coming back to this store.

Day before: scheduled appointment for 10:00am Day of appointment: show up at 10:00am and they say there are 2 people ahead of you; it will be 1.5 hours Call back at 12:15pm (2.25 hours): we cant fix the tire, you have to buy a brand new one, but not as good, for $200 plus labor. I say OK fine. They say we will call you when ready 2pm: I go to pick up because I know putting on a tire takes 5-10 minutes and it has been 1.75 hours. In person response: just starting, 20 more minutes. Gimme a break. I go to nearby park to wait for call, and do some work zoom meetings. 4:15pm: I go back and say what gives? They say it was ready like 5 minutes after you left; we should have called you. What?!?!? I ask for discount because they messed up. They say no. What a terrible business. Will never go back.

Scheduled and paid for a 9 am service through Tirerack one week prior. I show up and am told we dont schedule services through Tirerack. Finally convince the guy otherwise after providing proof of invoice and order number, then it takes an hour and a half to even get the car on the lift and get the job started. Fix your scheduling system and increase staffing.

I made an appointment for 1:30, specifically asking how long it would take. I was told 1-1 1/2 hours. I arrived 30 minutes early for the appointment and was told it would be a 5 hour wait. I identified that I have a 1:30 appointment. I was told that didnt matter, other vehicles were in line ahead of mine. Doesnt that defeat the purlose of an appointment?

I came here to get a alignment and looks like they didn t fix it correctly. They didn t give me any paperwork and said that the printer machine was not working. Bad business!

0 star rating. They are awful. They tried to charge me $100 for a diagnostic test when I already the code and reason for the issue. I got two tires replaced here. I brought the tires myself. They damaged the two wheels because they have bad equipment. When I complained, all the way to the claims store, they outright denied that it happened at their shop. Shameless people!! I will never to go a Firestone shop - just a disgraceful company that does not take accountability. While the damage was minor, but the wheels totally intact wheels, but it is still a damage. It does not show good work and professional ethics.

I went in with for an oil change and tire rotation service, the car was returned to me without the tire rotation done and after asking only then they accepted that they forgot. Please stand and make sure the technician are doing all the work you have paid for otherwise they will take you for a ride! Will not recommend Firestone ever because of my experience

Took my 01 blazer here for an alignment got called an hour back that it was ready I get there and notice the wheels were still cambered on both sides, on the ride home I notice it pulls to the right after getting home I go over the results and notice the camber and caster werent even touched, I go back the following day and try to get an explanation and get told it needs additional shims so I agree to get those installed just to get told they dont want to do the work they canceled my 1 year warranty and refunded 50% of what I paid horrible techs that are either inexperienced, lazy or just simply dont want to get their hands dirty and made my alignment worse then what it was

Way overworked on the weekend. Parking lot crammed full, but nobody paying any mind to arrivals with no legal place to park their car. Just someone to greet confused incoming people and say park over in this pile here, its fine would be perfect. Done well and at a fair price, cant complain, but they really need to do a better job of keeping the lot clear. Pick up your car in an hour or we charge $100/hr would be a good place to start. Just waiting for it to be done is easy - I would never just drop off my car!

I want to acknowledge Sanan and Trung for always putting in 110% in satisfying and taking care of the customers. They did a phenomenal job in taking care of me. Especially Sanan because you can tell his worth ethics are amazing! He definitely knows how to multi task and helps every single customer whether it is a recommendation or a summary of what service was done. Beware of their underhanded price gouging repair scam tactics. Had an older car that Ive taken there for regular oil changes until one time they claimed the old oil pan nut is stripped scam which required an entire oil pan replacement costing $2,000. I told them I couldnt afford it at the time and wanted to think it over. I took it to another oil change shop and in and out in 15 minutes. I asked specifically about the oil pan nut and there were no problems.

I went there for brake replacement. They suggested I need to replace my rotors as well. After the repairs were done, I realized they were not done properly and there was a squeaky sound on one of the tires. Additionally, they also broke the retainer that holds the hood prop rod. When asked they said they are simple fixes and they will call me and do it. They never called and/ or followed up. When I call they say the part has not arrived and to check back later. Please be aware of their customer commitments and service.

I am here at least once a month for an oil change, tire rotation, and alignment. Usually I am quoted 1.5h for all three services and it always takes over 2h. Last time the 30m oil change took over 2h and they ran out of time to do the tire rotation and alignment. I stopped over a few days later for the rotation and alignment. I was quoted 1.5h and have been here 3.5h. Their tech cross threaded a lug nut and broke it and now they have spent over a hour trying to replace the stud. If I hadnt purchased a set of tires through them and gotten the lifetime rotation and alignment, I would go elsewhere.

Make sure you know what You want and need. Get proof of everything they say and do.

Had a nail on the tire, in 35 mins everything was sort out for $20 with a very good service. Very friendly staff. I definitely recommend this shop !!!

Stay away! They put the first scratch on my 2018 model. I ordered tires online & went to this shop to have them installed. I had an appointment and the wait time was horrible. Techs were going on lunch break in the middle of reinstalling parts. I didn t notice until the next day while I was pumping gas. There was no way I was letting them near my car again & I didn t feel like dealing with them.

We had our GMC in for an alignment before a long trip and the Mecanic didn t put the gotter pin back in the ball joint nut on front (R) wheel. It evually can loose and the wheel collapsed. We were pulling a trailer at the time. We could have been killed. We got lucky. We had it toed to Less Swabb tire shop in Grants Pass, Or. Now This Firestone shop won t reimburse us to fix the car.

Great prices on oil changes and front end alignments. Staff are friendly and make you feel welcome and appreciated.

Firestone has a good deal for lifetime wheel alignment. It pays for itself after 3 visits. The inconvenience is the lack of locations. The San Mateo shop just closed, as did the South San Francisco shop a few years ago, so you can only use the Redwood City shop. Call for an appointment, otherwise you have to drop the car off for the whole day.

Ricardo and Tom took extra good care of me when I had a brake problem. Work completed on-time, under budget, with zero-percent financing for 6 months plus a 10% discount! What a terrific tire/brake/service center in downtown Redwood City! I wish I were just starting out in the workforce because Id definitely work here.

Tech Marks down air cabin filter dirty and I asked the rep at front desk to pull up my history of work done and seen the filter was replaced two weeks ago...his reply was auto tech assumed needed done because of millage on car.... just go to show that firestone dont therowly check out vehicles...

Took care of business very helpful

Went here last week for a tire balance and rotation. Told it would take about an hour and 15 min later, I walk to the window to see my last tire being put back on and vehicle lowered. The next 20 min techs were under the hood, doing God knows what. I drove away and found steering wheel shaking at 40 mph. At return home looked at tires - - no weights, obviously still out of balance. Avoid!

Good service

This is the worst customer service experience Ive ever had with an auto service store. We took our car in to get the taillight replaced and have the oil changed. They also said they could replace our side view mirror, but would need to order the part. When we got home we realized all of the service lights were still on. They never called us to inform us they had received the part, and when we went in to ask them about the side view mirror and the service lights they told us the guy who had previously helped us would call, but again he never did. We eventually took the car elsewhere to get it fixed. There we learned they hadnt even replaced all of our tail lights and that we still had burned out bulbs in place. Overall, they did a shoddy job on the simple work we asked them to do and strung us along in a way that wasted our time.

Place is good and staff is friendly. Only issue I had was that one of the two tires I had replaced wasnt sealed properly, so the next morning my tire was flat and needed to be replaced.

Very helpful and courteous! They made time for me on a busy Sunday when my truck was breaking down. If only I could find a shop like theirs around where I live, in Santa Barbara!

Brakes were completely toast and drove in from a different city, was praying they would take care of me because I was worrying I wouldnt even make it home. They ended up taking care of me even though they were busy and helped me get back on the road safely. Thanks guys Ill be back! :)

$28 for a tire plugged! Highway robbery! Speed Auto did it for $15. Go there instead.

I couldnt say enough thanks to Tony and Rafael for replacing the 4 worn out tires. It is a 5-star service !!! We had an emergency with our two front tires,one tire was peeling off and made loud noise, the nearby Redwood City Firestone store closes at 5 PM, we arrived at 4:55 PM, 5 minutes from the closing time, we were worried if it was too late.....Toni ,the service consultant, and Rafael , the mechanics, both are willing to work extra late hours to help us out , Toni is so professional and always carry a nice warming smile. We want to express our great appreciation to Toni and Rafael for going out of their way to help us out ,so we can continue our long road trip. We consider this is our lucky day to meet Toni and Rafael.

We had just got off the red-eye on a Sunday morning home from Honolulu to SFO. Started south on our way home from SFO and got a battery light. Pulled in the parking area before opening (0800) and walked to breakfast/coffee at Phils. Walked back to the store from there and they took the car immediately since we were first in line. We walked to Whole Foods and they called me and told me the bad news that the alternator needed replaced but that they would have it done by noon. We walked to a movie and before it was even done I got a call saying the work was complete. The quick repair got us home earlier than expected and we were able to spend a nice morning walking around the nice town of Redwood City. Firestone has done a good job for me in the past and they maintained their high recommendation after this almost disastrous return from vacation.

Only place I get my oil changed!

I had the shop rotate my wheels two weeks ago. Yesterday one of the lugnuts broke in half. Part of the broken lugnut remained inside the wheel where the other lugnuts rubbed against the broken one. I immediately returned the car to the shop right at their close of business (some time just before six). The shop personnel immediately investigated my issue despite the time. Two hours later, the situation was repaired. It was close to 8:00 pm. They didnt need to stay for me but chose to do it anyway without a request asking them to do this. They did it on their own initiative. By the way, all of this was for free, including the rotation. So I kept them there 2 hours beyond their clock on a Sunday working exclusively at times on my car (multiple mechanics) and all this was for free. I call this great service, described by me with a sincere thanks!!

I got like $1,500 worth of work done here summer 2011. They had a coupon at the rome for $100 off every $500. Youd think when someone spends that kinda cash that they would say hey, theres a coupon online thatll save you some money. Ive probably spent $5000 here I think they are a greedy shop. I would suggest going elsewhere for repairs.

Open on suday, these guys got new rotar and pads on my civic. Priceing worked out and no problems. Friendly service, clean lobby, the rice is right, and Ill be back for my next auto service.
