HONEST transmission shop! I met Sal to discuss my transmission problem on my car. My gears weren't shifting properly, loss of power, rough between gears, slipping, transmission check codes etc. I had already taken my car to 3 shops for opinions and estimates and was told I needed a transmission rebuild/replacement. I wasn't getting conclusive diagnosis and pricing and wanted one more opinion. I brought my car here after reading the incredible reviews and I'm glad I did... Even though he was busy he took the time to hear my issues and even took the car for a quick test drive to see what was going on. In under 5 minutes he was able to determine that the transmission was actually ok, and the root cause was actually a clogged exhaust system that was mimicking transmission failure systems. You know what?.... HE WAS 100% RIGHT. He was honest, didn't take any money for his advice and time spent testing and gave me a proper diagnosis finally after seeing few other mechanic shops and even advised me on how to get my car in working order at a different shop that specializes in exhaust. SAL is a transmission PRO, reliable and trustworthy. THANK YOU SAL! Will definitely come back here for any transmission work in the future.

For the second time in a row, Rancho Trans saved me a boat load of cash. 2 years ago my Dodge Ram 2002 4.7v8 had transmission issues. It's halfway retired and just used for moving big stuff whenever it comes up. Instead of selling me a heavy repair or new transmission, they recommended I install a harness add-on that increases the pressure slightly. Although it's not a permanent fix, it will help to keep the truck going for a while more. I popped the $40 part on the trans harness and the issue was fixed. 2 years on, no issues. That test drive, advice and their time to explain it cost me nothing. They were happy to help, do the right thing. Fast forward to this week. After leaving work, my 12' Honda Civic the car started making a terrible noise and vibrating alot. It appeared to be a transmission issue, as there was a jerking motion during acceleration. I limped to Rancho Transmission just after 5pm. They took the time to test drive the vehicle, even though they were supposed to be closed already. Instantly, he knew. It's not your transmission, it's your engine mount. I got out of the test drive and observed as the engine was revved and it shook violently. I could see the mount had completely separated but this guy knew it within 60 seconds of driving it around. We shook hands, I took the car home, drove my Dodge ram they helped to fix 2 years earlier to the Honda dealer, got the part and installed it shortly after. Fixed. Once again, all it cost was their time and effort, after hours and it didn't cost me anything. I'm blown away by the service commitment and integrity that everyone at Rancho Transmission has. What an A+ outfit. I recommended them to my family in Chino and Corona. I recommended them to my Grandma who doesn't even drive!

God is AMAZING. After several quotes from different mechanics and them not being to sure of the problem, I met Sal at his business and he fixed my issue with my 2004 GMC SIERRA truck. My transmission kept slipping eventually it broke the flywheel. Mr. Sal (owner) and his team rebuild my transmission, torque converter and replaced flywheel. My 20 year old Toyota Rav4 is running better than new. Thank you for helping me out. Honest local business.
