You can't beat Portola Valley Garage for its convenience, but I was expecting convenience to come at a price. I was thrilled to have all of my issues fixed for less money than I would have spent elsewhere. Tom is conscientious and takes time to answer all of my questions. Highly recommend!
I came back to PV Garage because I've only ever had positive experiences there! This time I needed to have them install a part that I bought elsewhere. A garage closer to me wouldn't tough it, but Tom said, "No problem!", and although they could not warranty my part, of course, they installed it successfully and fixed some other stuff along the way. My 2007 Audi A3 seems to back to its fun driving self with no check engine lights! Thanks, Tom!

My 1997 Porsche Boxster broke down on the road and needed a tow. It was late in the day and the tow truck could not get me there untill 6:15 pm - they close at 5:30. Victor waited late till I arrived so I would not have to park out on the street. It's great to know they will go the extra mile for you - so rare these days. Also, I was back on the road within a week - Great Job!!
These folks are great. You can really trust their diagnostics of your vehicle and the work they do to fix the problem. In 24 years I have never had a misdiagnosis nor have I had any issue with any repairs or maintenance.

The day before a road trip my car decided to crash. I dropped it outside their gate in hopes that they could somehow manage to give it a look first thing in the morning. Presto! Not only did they check it out and diagnosis it but they had it fixed and ready to hit the road in a few hours! I was delighted but not all that surprised because they’ve always been like that.
