Easy to work with. Good pricing, no gouging. Thorough inspections identify things that could or should be repaired, but he is good about saying it could wait a year, or you really need to do the left one now. Fixed AC at a fraction of the price of other estimates because he figured out exactly what the problem was.

Ryan and Nick are the best! We were looking for a used car for our daughter in the Livermore area and didnt have a mechanic there that we knew and trusted. Through our Berkeley mechanic, we connected with Ryan and Autotron. Ryan was immediately personable, supportive and helpful. He was very patient with our questions and concerns. Their exam of 2 cars was efficient and excelllent. Im not sure too many shops would be as accomodating and helpful to someone from out of town who they know live too far away to be a regular custom. We left happy and felt secure in their knowledge and help. They also have a great waiting room with new magazines! What more can you ask for? Thanks, Ryan!

Everyone at Autotron are great. I called them to see if they could help me remove the fan clutch from my water pump and they said bring it down and 5 minutes later it was done. They did not charge me but I still gave them $25.00 to put towards soda. Thank you

Ryan and his team have been taking care of my vehicles for 20 + years. Always reliable and honest. 2 stories - #1 - my transmission on my 7 year old Acura failed. He could have told me gotta change it - this is what it costs and I would have him do the work. Instead, he looked it up, found out that there was an extended warranty (that I was out of) and coached me on how to approach the dealer. I ended up getting a dealer installed, new transmission at 50% off retail and he got . . . zero (and my loyalty) #2 - Was traveling in Arizona. Had a problem. I called him, he talked me through the issue and then found a local shop to help me out. If you are looking for a very good, local mechanic - look no further. Ryan is the MAN!

As usual, the crew at Autotron were prompt and courteous with service ,and their estimates were completely in line with my expectations. Also, they were proactive in alerting me to items that were minor now, but could become a larger issue later on, which allowed me to begin planning and budgeting in advance. I have enjoyed coming to Autotron the last several years after my dad recommended them when I moved back to the Tri-Valley. Ryan was hard working and flexible when it came to servicing my vehicles. He offered advice when I asked for it. When my truck was having issues with the emissions system, the engine check light came back on, even after I had Ryan take a look at it. Ryan gladly scheduled me to come back and have his team try to find a solution, on his own dollar. He wants the customer to feel as though they are taken care of. I am bummed to say that I have moved out of the area as it was a pleasure to have Ryan and the Autotron team service my vehicles.

Beware! Scammers! Crooks! I towed my vehicle to Autotron for a diagnostic and they told me I needed a new Alternator and said it would cost me $1180 for parts and labor. What!? Why!? So, heres what happened.... I left my vehicle on for a couple of hours and my battery died out... I called AAA my car wouldnt take a jump so they recommended I replace the battery. I decided to tow my vehicle to Autotron to purchase a battery and make sure there was nothing else going on. OKAY!! So Autotron explains to me the problem is the Alternator and the bill is $1180 for Parts and Labor if I want to get it done! I thought it was pricey so I picked my vehicle up and took it to another Auto repair shop.... This was the new diagnostic from another shop!! Pick up your vehicle there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with it!!! I insisted they double check explaining the previous diagnostic report....They did and the end result was NOTHING!!!!! Autotron tried to scam me straight up without a doubt. Do not trust this place!!!

Great folks - friendly, honest, and competent. Prices are reasonable. Weve had both Hondas and Toyotas serviced here, always with excellent results.

They are the best. Colleen rocks the front desk, the owners are awesome, the work they do is guaranteed, everyone is friendly. Honest, reliable, fast. Cant sing their praises any louder. :)

These people seem to do good work but they gouge on parts. They markup parts by 400 or 500 percent, sometimes more. Makes me wonder what else they cheat at. Seems dishonest to me. I have no problem with a company making a fair profit but the markups here are rediculous.

MY SON AND I HAVE DEALT WITH AUTOTRON FOR A COMBINED TOTAL OF ABOUT 20 YEARS. OBVOIUSLY WE THINK IT IS A FIRST CLASS SHOP WITH SKILLED AND KNOWLEDGEABLE TECHS AND MANAGEMENT. ONE EXAMPLE : I HAD AN EXPERIENCE WHERE AUTOTRON FIXED A SHORT IN A LIGHT CIRCUIT THAT OTHER SHOP WOULDNT EVEN LOOK AT, AND AUTOTRON FIXED IT IN LESS THAN AN HOUR .I TRUST RYAN COMPLETELY AND HAVE NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED. Autotron was a secret tip from a friend of mine - and paid off big time. Honesty is big at this place - you wont get talked into getting something for your car it does not need. I have both of my cars serviced here now, and never had anything but an excellent experience.

They help you maintain your vehicle to prolong its life and minimize big repairs by recommending preventative maintenance. They take the time to explain the job and what is required. They also keep detailed records on all the work that is performed on your vehicle so for great honest service Autotron is the place!!!

I can not tell you what a great experience I have had at Autotron! The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. It has been my experience in the past that you have to be on your toes looking for up sales and unnecessary repairs, I feel that Autotron tells it like it is and you feel you can trust them.
