Andy's shop is my #1 choice for anything transmission-related ever since he was the only mechanic who wasn't afraid of fixing our old RAV4 with 280k miles on it. Andy is a knowledgeable, fair and thorough professional. He goes an extra mile in outlining all options and offering very practical advise on keeping not only transmission, but the entire vehicle in best conditions. I can't imagine a better transmission shop than Andy's.

Andy the owner has done great work on multiple vehicles of mine. He runs a Reputable shop. Also he explains things in a manor you can understand so you can make the smart choice for your financial situation. Cool, calm & collected man he's good at what he does that's the bottom line. Transmission problems are devistating but he made a terrible situation a pleasant experience.

Ok so I don't know anything about transmissions and I did just pick my car up. But I will say that I feel very comfortable with Andy. He took the time to work with us. Explain things. Gave us options. This is why I like small businesses. You get that extra attention. I recommend this shop and I recommend Andy. Update: excellent service, all family members are pleased. You will get affordable honest service.

Just picked up my truck from a transmission replacement. Andy made a difficult situation as painless as possible… I feel that I got the best price, service and warranty possible. I got a rebuilt transmission from a another transmission shop, Had some problems, One was after a short time period of driving, My Transmission wouldn't shift into Drive or Overdrive, Which made me suspect from the smell and not shifting that I had burnt clutch pack and I was right. So instead of going back to him for a third time I went to Andy at Pacifica transmission, He found some cheap parts that were used in the rebuild and also showed me that the transmission casing was cracked where it was bolted to the engine, Andy replaced my casing and rebuilt my transmission, Now it shifts great, in fact it shifts way better than it did when I first got my transmission back from the other guy, I Recommend Andy because he is Honest, I will never go to anyone for my transmission needs but Andy at Pacifica Transmission. My family and I were visiting from Los Angeles when the transmission on our 2002 Tahoe completely stopped working (just our luck it was a holiday weekend!), car wouldn't reverse or shift past 2nd gear. After reading the Google reviews on Pacifica Transmission we knew we had to take it there. Andy pulled our truck right in and diagnosed the problem within 30 minutes, he also gave us several options within different budgets. We didn't end up getting any work done at the shop because we decided to have the truck shipped home and worked on by our mechanic but if we would have had the time to stay another night we would have definitely let them help us. The owner, Andy was quick, efficient and professional. He didn't even charge us to look at our truck which we really appreciate. It's hard to find honest people these days but this shop and it's owners & staff are the real deal!
