Tire Sales & Service Co. in Oakland

Their website says that they’re open until 7 pm. What the site doesn’t say is that they stop servicing at 6:30pm. I had a friend last night call ahead to say that he was going to be towed their off the freeway to purchase two tires. Unfortunately, he had to wait almost two hours for the tow truck to arrive. I went to their office to apprise them of the situation. He was scheduled to arrive at 6:40pm. They said that they wouldn’t be able to service him. I was willing to purchase the tires ahead of his arrival and they said it didn’t matter. I don’t like the way in which the mgr responded; but I was going to leave when three young ladies pulled up with a tire that was shredded. I asked the mgr if he was going turn them away. He said yes. The technician said that he could change the tire in less than 10 minutes. The mgr said no. I lost it. Don’t just take money from the community and not have a heart. As you can imagine, he and I had words. Elderly person, disabled person, pregnant person, they would all be turned away. I’ve used them before to fix flats; they won’t get my business again. Thankfully I calmed down enough to ask the young ladies if they had a spare. They didnt know. I checked and they did. I had them park off the property and I changed the tire myself. Originally they pulled I. To purchase a tire. Businesses should remember that they have a responsibility to the community.Within a half hour, they turned away 4 customers that they could have helped. Shame on this company for their treatment of others.

I had a slow leak in my tire. I showed up and they fixed it in minutes. Staff were friendly and the repair price was completely reasonable. Very happy, and will definitely go here for any future tire needs I have.

Had a great experience here. My car's tire was leaking for a few days and when I took it to Toyota Downtown of Oakland for servicing, they failed to detect any nails. The next day I take my car to Tire Sales & Service Co. and they find a nail and fix the tire in less than 10 minutes for just $10.

Super fast leak in tire, no big deal go to big shop first. In at 10, estimated "by lunch" it'll be done. Ends up being an hour before close before an update - unable to complete- was issued. Go to pick it up, spare isn't on and techs unable to keep air in tire. 430p at tgis point, fly around the corner here and explain the situation. I pull around to the lot and literally 10minutes later, the screw is found, extracted, patched, tire aired up, all without removing the tire. Go inside, price is a 1/3 of what I'm told elsewhere 😭🙌🏿👏🏿👏🏿👏🏿 seriously amazing customer service and work by this shop. 10/10 recommend

Absolutely thrilled with my recent experience! I needed a front alignment and new tires, and I braced myself for a long wait since they were busy. To my surprise, within just 3 minutes of arriving, they had already started working on my vehicle! It was impressive to see how efficiently they handled everything. The staff was incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that everyone received prompt service. I couldn’t believe how few people were waiting despite the busy atmosphere. This is bad bad bad and unproffational custemer service ever had before one worker drunk and intoxicated and boss refused to give service because of by asking change other person,boss don't even check him the guy he OK or not just ignored me. Who eny one has the same issue.

Yoooooo, this place just charged me $80 out the door to install my new tires and balance them and dispose of the old ones... Incredible! I don't know about the bad reviews but I had a 20-star experience here. Amazing! The criminals At Alex and Angel's tires tried to charge me $140!!!!!

This place is fast and super convenient! Right off the 580 freeway. Prices are also very competitive. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes on a Saturday!
