Had a few issues scheduling, but once I brought the car in, service was fast and friendly and the new windshield looks great.

1st booo Oakland! A lot of glass repair places are making a killing! I used Auto Glass Now b4. Im assuming because so many cars are being vandalized, they didnt have the window that I needed. But they were able to recommend a salvage yard where I was able to buy a window. After waiting an hour, AGN was able to fix my window in 30 mins. Living and working in Oakland, I feel like Ill visit AGN again

After a week the new ORM windshield had a manufacturing flaw so it had to me reordered which added another 2-3 weeks. My first visit to the shop (when the manufacturer flaw was noticed) the workers tried removing the window pilaster (pillar) cover and cracked it. On my way home on 880 the wind caught it and it ripped off at 60mph. Three weeks later I was at the shop again for a new windshield and new pillar cover (the color is slightly off) then an indicator light came on regarding no automatic lights. The shop said that the indicator noticed had nothing to die with the windshield. What a coincidence? Now I need to go to the dealership to see what causes this issue. I wish I had never gone to your shop. NS

In response to the reply below by the owner regarding this review, on investigation the number provided to support me, was simply the alternate number for the branch that performed the shoddy work, broke the trim parts, and installed the blemished glass, and completely disrespected me as a customer. When I inquired about contacting the owner I was told, I dont know who the owner is, I never met the owner, and I dont know who writes the replies to reviews. So it seems to me this accommodating reply by the mysterious owner, is nothing but an effort to put something up on line, to counter my accurate documentation of unacceptable work, and make it appear that they are making some good faith effort to correct their mistakes, nothing could be farther from the truth! I wish I was able to leave 5 stars, but unfortunately I can not. In fairness this place did a good job on the counts of having my windshield in stock, offering a fair price, and getting me in and out in about 2 hours. Where they fell short was in 1) cleanliness; there was considerable, very visible, fine glass shards on the top of the dashboard, which required me to use tape like a lint roller to remove it, and with proper eye protection, then blow the cabin out and run the defroster full blast to blow any other debris out. There were also black smudges at the top and both sides of my white headliner from the technicians hands/ gloves. 2) problem resolution; the tech broke the mounting clip of one of my windshield wiper scuttles, which is the small cover that covers the area where the windshield wiper arm attaches, and instead of telling me, attempted to hide it by attaching it with a blob of the windshield adhesive. On notifying the manager of this issue I was basically stonewalled, and confronted by her backing up the technicians assertion that it was already broken, which was false, and told things like it is an old car,(2015), and basically told to take a hike. This performance, to me, cast a light on how well they stand behind other aspects of their work, and to me speaks poorly of the mind set toward positive customer relations that they have, in that for the cost of a aftermarket replacement part, ( about $20), they are prompting a negative review, (a review they requested), causing me some upset by their treatment of me during 2 phone conversations, and causing me a loss of my time required, and the inconvenience of, filing a dispute with the charge card company for the cost of the damaged part. Another aspect of dissatisfaction that became evident while driving around on this clear sunny day, is the quality of the glass itself. Either this windshield is a second or simply inferior quality. There are considerable ripple artifacts in the lower left section directly at eye level. It really is substandard quality visually So to sum, while they may have had a better price at face than the other vendors I contacted, the resulting deficiencies, and problems, may have negated that perceived savings. I concede the same issues might have arisen elsewhere, no way of knowing, but none the less for the reasons I have shown, I would not recommend using the services of Auto Glass Now.

On time, Efficient, Super clean. I could not ask for more

I contacted Autoglass now to get an estimate to replace a window. The estimate was $85 in July 2024. When it came time to pay, they informed the pastor the window was $244. We are not the only party this has happened to. The price was significantly different. OK... we paid it by credit card because the window is needed. Autoglass Now ordered the wrong window, not once, not twice but THREE (3) times. I gave them the VIN number. Their technician verified it was the wrong window. They refused to accept the window while they reordered a new one, insisting that I keep one window while another one was ordered. After the third window, they gave up and offered a refund. BUT instead of returning our money in the original form of payment immediately, AGN said they would return the money within 4-6 weeks!?!!! We have returned all the goods. Now, in October 2024, we still have no refund. The pastor even stepped in and called and was told the same thing, 4-6 weeks. We will take legal action to sue Autoglass Now to get our money back. This is unacceptable. We need the money to buy another window that they could not find. After over 6+ trips to the shop, countless calls, we never got the right window, AND we still are out $244+. We are a non-profit; we are not made of money. This has been a horrible experience that adds insult to injury after someone broke into our delivery vehicle that delivers free food to those in need. I do not recommend this business!!! Update Nov 2024: We finally got our refund after 5 months, after months of calling by 3 different staff members and visits to your shop, and filing a complaint. Autoglass Now did not refund the 3-7 business days in the lies they posted in their vindictive one star review of our non profit food pantry because we complained. We give out free food. Autoglass Now gave us a 1 star review because we gave a negative review for Autoglass Now for 1. giving a false quote, 2. giving the wrong window 3x and 3. failing to give us a refund after all the product was returned until 5 months after the original payment. We gave the window back within 24 hours but they did not accept the window. 5 months of runaround is what we got. Sorry, we were extremely patient throughout this process but this is ridiculous. I cannot recommend this business in good conscience.

Customer Service was great! I called the day before, my rear window was ordered and ready for installation the next day. Thank you for making a stressful situation easier. My only suggestion would be to provide a discount card for return customers (20.00-40.00) off your 5th window. After all Im from the Bay, of course the Bippers are going to break your windows and take nothing of value from your car. Causing your insurance to increase .

A massive windshield crack sent me all over google trying to find the best price. Auto Glass Now quoted me $438 for the windshield AND calibration - it s $465 for the windshield alone at safelite! Everyone from the front desk ladies to the guys in the back were super kind and courteous. It took about 2 hours and looks perfect!!!

Found them through my insurance company. Originally was booked with Safelite ( that I had 2 wait 2 weeks for the appointment that was canceled). Service was absolutely great. I showed up early In the morning looking for window replacement that had gotten broken out the day before. They didn t have the glass window for my car but recommended me to a place right around the corner that carried it. I was able to purchase it at a very reasonable price and they installed it for a very reasonable price. I spent less then two hundred dollars for everything. I had called someone else and he was gonna charge me over four hundred dollars. I m so glad I followed my gut and went with auto Glass now. I highly recommend. We got all this done in an hour or less

Do not go here!!!!! If I could give no stars I would. I showed up to my 8am appt and no one was there. After waiting 15 min I saw someone go inside the building, so I went inside where no one was to be found. I walked into the garage and found someone and told them I was here for my scheduled 8am appt. There was zero customer service offered. A simple we re so sorry you had to wait let s get you taken care of is what a correct response should have been, but rather the woman working at the front desk was abrasive, unkind, and lacked any care or concern about the customer experience. When checking me in, I was told that my glass wasnt even there for my appt and I would need to wait another hour. When expressing frustration about this, the front desk person did not express any genuine care, concern, or just what would be expected customer service and instead was very rude and defensive. Again, if she had shown me any consideration at all instead of being rude, I would have been more understanding but instead was blamed for the delay in service and was offered zero apologies for the now anticipated hour delay to my service. Having to wake up early and move around meetings to make this appt on time further added to the send of injustice. Anyway, she ended up refusing me service when I noted this felt unprofessional and frustrating, saying you can go now, which was so rude and dismissive. I truly felt so angry and terrible after this interaction. I obviously will never return here, and I suggest you look elsewhere yourself. It s just not worth it and I will never support a business that is actively working against me.

Excellent service! They were accomodative to my time constraints and I also witnessed same given to other customers. My ordered windshieled arrived with superficial scratches on the peripheral. I couldve missed them but they informed me and was offered option of installing it or reordering. I chose to reorder. I was told to go in anytime between 9a and 4:30p.

My windsheild had a minor crack and i knew if i didnt tend to it promply it would spider. I took my car there and they were able to fix it in a timely manner. 75 dollars. Not bad. I recommend giving them a try.

I m giving them only 3 stars because, I was given a price over the phone 185. For my main driver side window and got there and the price was different!! With all the same information 279. They offered no explanation but lowered it to 185 but on a positive note the work was satisfactory and fairly quick! But I don t trust them after that experience. But they did vacuum the glass up for me.. that was greatly appreciated!

This is the second time I ve gone to Auto Glass Now and each time they ve been great! Repairs are done quick and they re able to supply a pretinted window so I don t have to go out separately to retint a window that was broken. You never want to have to fix a window that someone broke into but hey it s the Bay Area and they do an excellent job here. Definitely recommend!

The worst place ever ..They put the rear glass on and it was very slow going up and down. They said the type of the window glass is different from the original and we will remove it. Then at the end they said you have to pay $50, I called the police but no response. this place is the worst place I have ever went. I don t recommend it at all to anyone

This was wonderful. I scheduled my appointment on Friday and had my window fixed on Monday.

They are very polite, however cant do my calibration. Then send me to 30 minutes away another location, but that location do not open on Saturday!

I think it went ok. I didn t have to pay for the service my insurance did. However I think I received an extra windshield blemish (which was repaired), but an extra nonetheless. In the photo, the big one was what needed to be repaired and then there the small blemish to the left. All around good customer service. The mark made was EXTREMELY small so nothing to get upset over. I think if I had a nicer car my review would be a little different, but she s a beater and will only last a few more years.

Auto Glass Now is off West Grand Avenue. There have been a lot of car break-ins in the area this past year and unfortunately Ive been a victim of it. Recently I needed to get the rear panel window (those triangles) on my Tesla Model Y. Because of the increased car break-ins, the last time I renewed my auto insurance I decided to pay more which covered auto glass repair, so a higher premium so I wouldnt have to pay the often times $500 deductible that most coverage had. Auto Glass Now was one of the places that would fulfil the insurance claim. After I filed my claim, I called the Auto Glass Now and they scheduled an appointment for me and said theyd order the original glass from Tesla. I went on the day of the appointment, and they seemed very busy, but the got the job done in estimated amount of time, they got it done in less than 2 hours. So far so good, but fingers crossed I really hope I dont have to replace any car window glass for the next year.

I was a bit disappointed at first because they didnt have the glass I needed. Whwn I was told they did. But they reccovered well by finding the desired glass. They got the five star because they came to my mom house to replace the window and did fast and clean. Great work team!!

I was visiting Oakland and on my first night there my car window was smashed in....an Oakland welcome my friends called it :/ I was panicked that I wouldnt be able to get my window replaced for days but I was wrong. I showed up without an appointment to Auto Glass Now the minute they opened up and they were able to get my window replaced and my car cleaned up for an amazing price within 30 minutes. This is an outstanding window repair place does not take long to repair what is needed and your insurance does take care of it. Your deductible helps you out. They are pleasant and I recommend them to anyone that needs window repair on their automobile.

Latest victim of car vandalism. My neighbor thankfully scared them off and they weren t able to steal my car. But after the busted window and car door lock, I am 1000+ down this really sad me about Oakland.

On March 8 my car window was broken and two cell phones were stolen. Fortunately, this glass place is only a couple of blocks from where the crime occurred (and not that far from my house). I stopped in and was told that they would contact me when the glass arrived. That happened a couple of hours later (Apple had replaced the phone almost immediately). I returned and waited a mere 45 minutes for the installers to put it in. Total cost: $192, which I think is incredibly fair for the speed of the service.

They ok. 3 stars cuz I had to go back cuz they messed up on the install. Always check your windows before you leave this place. Make sure they re installed properly and go up and down properly.
