Can t say enough good things. After a drive into Yosemite Valley, we got a nail in our tire wall in our rental car. The thought of getting stuck in Yosemite with our two kids was quite scary, however they were incredibly helpful. They had the tire in stock, worked with our rental company, held the tire for us, and assured us our family would be safe on the donut to drive out. Once arriving Sandy got us right in, and we were back on track within an hour. Truly can t thank them enough for great service!

I have been going to Sullivans for over 20 years with my various vehicles and I have been completely satisfied with their high level of professionalism. This starts at the front desk staff who are extremely knowledgably and very customer friendly. Took care of me right away.

Came in with issues on two different cars at the same time. One needed some wiper fluid. I expected to pay for it but they topped it off for free and also checked and topped off other fluids. Other had a flat tire. Im pretty car ignorant and they could have easily sold me new tire(s). Instead they found and fixed the puncture on the old tire for around $25. All done very fast. I really appreciate the integrity and customer service.

I have very recently had a lot of service for multiple truck issues for normal wear and tear. Each time I was extremely satisfied with the scheduling and great customer service. The technicians they have seem to me to be quality techs, obviously with years of experience doing it right the first time. The service advisor were also very helpful and knowledgeable and accurate promise of completion. I would highly recommend and I don t say that lightly if it wasn t true. I will be a repeat customer as needed! 6 stars!

After a few bad experiences at other shops in town I was hesitant to bring my car to anyone but the dealer. My boss uses Sullivans for his fleet so I decided to call Jim and I am happy I did. They serviced my car and did a tire rotation and really made me feel like I could trust the process. They have gained a customer in me and no one wants to pay for an automotive repair and still have something wrong or parts missing, yes it has happened. Dont have your tires rotated here. I dont ever want to take my vehicle back to them for anything. I am thankful my tires didnt completely fall off driving home. Id suggest taking someone with you that can help you inspect your vehicle before you pay and leave their property. Nothing the Sullivan family can do or say to change my mind for ever using there services ever again, not even in an emergency. We will check the cameras they said.

As I was about to leave for Yosemite in the morning, I discovered a flat tire. The night before, on my way into Oakhurst, I had passed the area where there had been a car accident, and I think I may have stepped on a piece of glass that deflated my tire overnight. Originally, I had planned to drive over an hour each way to the Tesla service center in Fresno to replace the tire, but the person who towed the car told me I could try the repair there along the way. Fortunately, the repair was completed successfully, and we were able to continue our trip again. I was impressed by the extremely low repair costs, which was unimaginable in the San Jose area. When you have a flat tire, needless to say, you are not having a very good day. You ve just noticed the low-pressure warning, or, even worse, you heard the telltale *kerchunks* of a flat. It s hot or cold or raining and you re on the side of the road cursing up a storm trying to remember exactly how to change a tire because you never listened to your parents about how important that is. Maybe the kids are screaming, your partner is exhausted, and you just want to get home. You pull out your phone, thank the gods of cell phone reception that you have enough 5g to google a tire shop nearby, and hope that they can help you. When this happens in the Oakhurst area, the place you can trust to help is Sullivan s Tire Pros on 49. I found myself in this situation (sans kids, but definitely with the heat) and asked the guys at O Reilly where to go. They recommended Sullivan s where I was greeted and helped promptly. While I was told that they didn t have my tires, they could get them in the next day. I was then heaped with the kind of help, advice, and friendliness that I have seen rarely in my automotive misadventures. In less than 24 hours, I was driving off with new tires and a smile on my face. How often can you say that -- that you leave a tire shop smiling? Additionally, they provided me with a significant amount of information and advice on my vehicle, explained how other shops had led me astray, and provided recommendations for both their own shops and shops in the area. All for the cost of some new tires. And they were affordable to boot! I cannot stress enough how professional and helpful these good folks were. A special kudos and shout out to Brian at Sullivan s who helped me out when I came in off the street. His kindness, enthusiasm, and honesty really went a long way. Thanks, Brian!

What to do when you have a flat tire a few hours before a flight? Sullivan s to the rescue! Despite numerous customers in line when the shop opened at 8 am, we were helped right away and drove our rental car with a patched an hour later. All for just $25! Amazing service.

Jim and staff were able to quickly resolve my dead battery problem when the car showed up on a Monday morning, despite having a full appointment schedule. I am so appreciative of their positive, thoughtful approach to handling my last minute situation, and getting us going back home.

Very professional, helpful, and friendly...

BEWARE of the Up-sale. I went in about a month ago to have the front end of my pickup aligned. While waiting about an hour, I heard their sale staff handle over a dozen customers. Every one of them were told they needed/required to have additional work completed to make their vehicle safe and/or to complete the service they originally came in for. Every one? That is statistically impossible. I was then informed they would not be able to complete my front end alignment as my idler arm was out of specifications and need to be replaced prior. I informed them I had overhauled the front end three months earlier, which included idler arm, pitman arm, tie rods and steering box. I was told that even new parts can be defective. So, the original idler arm lasted 330,000 miles but the new replacement didnt last 300 miles. I paid the $50.00 inspection fee and left. The next day I went to a tire shop in Clovis that aligned my front end with no issues. The second shop was professional, didnt try to sale unneeded work and I was in and out in an hour. They made an honest profit unlike the dishonest attempted up-sale. Just BEWARE! P.S I only gave 1 star because it doesnt allow zero or negative stars.

I am so impressed with the level of service I received with this mechanic shop. When my car broke down on my road trip from out of town, the owner Mike looked out for me and made sure my car was fixed as soon as possible so I could get back home on schedule. He was friendly, accomadating, professional and the work they did was super affordable. Car rental shop is right next door, and Mike made sure they had a car available for me and on his advice I was able to get a rental about 15 minutes before they closed for the weekend so that I could move forward with my vacation plans, instead of having to sit in the hotel for 2 whole days without transportation. Thank you Mike and Sullivans Tires for going above and beyond!!! You didnt just fix my car, but saved my vacation from being a total disaster!

The employees here were all really friendly, knowledgeable, and hardworking. The prices were super reasonable when we asked for estimates, and Brian and his techs went above and beyond to help us out. We were in a bind and they gave us the best solutions to solve our problems in the most economic way possible The customer service here sets the gold standard.

This tire shop/ repair Sullivans should have 5 stars. I recently took my care to a local mechanic that I thought was honest. My 98 Volvo s70 left me in a tough spot last week stopped running and couldnt get a restart. The local mechanic to my surprise had burned a lot of locals from my area. He missed diagnosed my car symptoms said it needed a tune up and a fuel pump. After asking for a written estimate twice he wouldnt comply. I left my vehicle there at his shop 24 hrs. Next morning says come pickup your car theres nothing wrong with it. As I was going to get my keys from him he started yelling at me and swearing at me to leave his shop and dont return. My car ran for a few mins then down in fast lane on 41. A friend recommended me to call Tire Pros in Oakhurst so I did and had my car towed. They said we need to run a diagnostic check cost 165.00 sure I said and two hrs later they called me to tell me my sensor for cam shaft wasnt responding. Total cost for everything 483.00 I highly recommend Tire Pros for being upfront and honest throughout the whole process integrity is when you do the right thing when know one is watching. Great job Tire Pros!! Would not hesitate to be a return customer...

We had great service AGAIN. We always feel confident that all the guys at Sullivans will go above and beyond to make sure our Jeep is well taken care of.

I have previously given a good review about this place, even recommended it to people, but this time Im not at all pleased. I had a simple mount and balance with 2 new wheels and tires I purchased online. 18x10.5 c5 wheels. We unloaded the wheels and tires and the tire tech was ready to start when who appeared to be the manager walks over and tells him they cant do the wheels because they are too big! They told me to go somewhere else! I have 6 years if tire installation experience and know the equipment they are using and know that was not correct. Basically they lied to me thinking I wouldnt know the difference! Well I do. I wonder the real reason they denied service. It was a B.S. excuse and I dont like to be treated that way. I will be informing my friends and family of their dishonesty and no longer recommending them.

We were on vacation when we got a flat tire, cut in the sidewall so no hope of patching. Brian answered my call and was very helpful and reassuring on the phone. when I got to the shop all the desk staff were extremely nice and recommended some places we could go within walking distance while we waited for our new tires to be mounted. I dont live in this area so most likely Ill never be able to go back to Sullivans but Ill never forget how good their service was.

We were traveling to Yosemite as tourists with a rental car when we noticed a screw/nail in one of our tires. Sullivans crew (Jim in particular if I recall correctly, in German we would call him Ehrenmann which would translate as very honorable dude ) was really quick to help us and also help us navigate through the hotline horrors of our rental company. They were able to change the tire quickly so that we did not have to waste a whole day (or more) of our vacation. We felt helped, understood and would always return here with any business. Thank you guys so much!

I had my truck towed to Sullivans it was not running it was backfiring spitting fire out of the exhaust pipe and I was prepared for the worst Brian had my truck looked at thoroughly found out it was just the alternator and the battery that needed to be replaced they fixed those and my truck runs fantastic they are very honest people and I would bring all of my cars back to Sullivans at any time I thank the whole Sullivans crew for all the work that they did investigating on what was wrong with my truck and for the great honest work they performed.

I was visiting Yosemite for a few days and using the brakes downhill caused vibrations felt around the steering wheel. The next day, my son and I needed to travel home (3-4 hours away). The two gentleman at the front counter who check in customers were very very pleasant and helpful. They had the car inspected in order to give me peace of mind before driving back home. There s we re so many people waiting but they really took the time with me to explain what was happening and how I should proceed with my #1 safety concern. Jim & the team were our heroes today! Visiting Yosemite from U.K. and en route to Monterey, we got a flat and were without phone or internet signal and very far from home. Jim found us a specialist tyre, fitted and got us underway quickly, even printing out directions for our onward journey. Without their help we would have been stranded for at least a day, (without a place to stay) and missed our hotel booking in Monterey. Excellent and fuss free service. We encountered a flat tire (puncture too large to patch) enroute to Yosemite near Oakhurst and chose Sullivan s for our tire replacement as they were highly reviewed. It didn t take too long and was done after lunch. Happy with their service.

My worst nightmare... Sullivan s serviced my Toyota. After the technician checked the transfer case transmission fluid level, he added a washer to the plug (which is incorrect) and then severely overtightened it. This cracked the aluminum transfer case, and created metal shavings around the plug threads that made their way into the transmission fluid. Sullivan s has not made this right. I will never let their untrained techs touch my vehicle again.

I was taken at my appointment time. The service was completed when promised. I still miss their yellow labs.

I will never take my car anywhere else! Everyone there went above and beyond for me to make sure I left in a safe car, something my last mechanic didn t do and put me in the position I was in when I went to Sullivans. The staff is friendly, caring, and willing to spend the time to explain and educate you on your car. I went in for a tune-up & oil change, and left with a car running great. I also got 4 new tires which gave me such peace of mind.

Ss my front left tire burst due to something on the road, the tire was unrepairable, the car was towed to Sullivans tire place. Found out that they are closed for the weekend. The person was nice to call a road service to service.

Terrible. In every way. I thought it was weird when I got tires put on a couple years ago for my sensors to be broken after! Super unprofessional at the counters (Jim). I thought I d give them another shot so I took a vehicle there for inspection only and after 5.5 hours I decided to call to check in because it was supposed to take 3 hrs. They Removed the weights from the tires on a vehicle they were only inspecting and never said a word?! But if they deny their actions they aren t accountable right? So as I expected they said we didn t do that Unfortunate but we learned to NEVER go here again. Be mindful your vehicle will come out with something broken or missing off of it.

Sullivans Tire Pros is a fabulous shop! We were heading down the mountain from Yosemite in September and had some tire trouble. They were swamped and couldnt get us in until late afternoon, or the next day. Brian called every other shop in the area to get us immediate help, since we had a 9 hour drive ahead of us. Another good experience with Sullivans. Just a minor hiccup with technician forgetting to install a license plate bulb, but my service rep got it handled at check out quickly. Ive been a customer for 5 years now.

There were two of the valve stems missing, the polished rims wee scratched and considering I just washed the truck I know what condition my vehicle was in. Customer Service in the form of checking the job before calling your customer could have avoided this.

Car wobbled when braking coming from yosemite. Got a free checkup and determined it was from riding the brakes. Told me brakes were fine and that I should downshift instead of riding the brakes. Honest and good advice, would come back if I ever needed any service.

I usually do most of my own mechanic work, but this time, I just didnt have the time or desire to do it. Needed a new AC compressor, refrigerant hoses, and the AC system recharged. They did a great job at a fair price.

This is the best place in the world to have your car serviced, new tires, brakes, and everything. I was having new tires put on, sitting in the office waiting, and I observed the counter people working together as one. What coordination! It was amazing! Brian, Jim & Sandy are to be commended. They ordered specialty tires for my BMW and installed them the next morning. Like clockwork! If you live within a 100 mile radius, or more, it is worth the drive. This place is so efficient! I took my car in because of a noise it was making. It was the wheel bearing. I got charged around $400 for this fix, which turns out was under warranty from Nissan still. While I should have known my warranty better, I felt that Sullivan s should have also mentioned that this might be the case and helped me save $400 that I didn t have. It wouldn t have stung so bad if they hadn t just given me a speech about how honest and transparent they are. Overall just a huge bummer and I m not sure I can trust them anymore.

Charged me a THIRD of what the dealership would have for a brake job. And I know where I left my car stereo. Started up the car and found my selection half way through the score for the original Alien movie. Some folks might get upset that they messed around with the stereo but I was tickled pink that at least one of their mechanics...was a Jerry Goldsmith fan.

I have been going to Sullivans for 20 years now and they have always done great work. The staff are all very friendly and knowledgeable. They have great prices on tires and rotate them for me at no charge.

Last Mon 4/12/21 I had made an appt to have my Splinter Van for a oil & filter change at 1pm . I checked in a few minutes before , & Was told the appt was at 2 . Had my appt book in hand , being a senior I could of made a mistake ? So i parked . Mike drove into the lub booth with a car . Followed with another car . I sat & watched the lub procedure. At 2 there was another 2 cars lined up for there lubs. By this time i was getting very upset , I found Mike & asked what was going on ! All he said to me Was he was sorry ! Well I am sorry to ! I will never go back to Sullivans again ! I am a senior that s lives in a senior RV park in Coarsegold . This is the way he treats his locals ?

While visiting from Florida we discovered that the brakes on Grannys van were shot. The fine folks at Sullivans squeezed us in and now Granny is back on the road safe for another 60,000 milies!

The staff were so helpful and very nice. We were traveling through on a visit to Yosemite and had a slow leak. They were closed on Sunday so we left a message and explained our issue and that we would come by on Monday morning. When we got in, they knew who we were from our message and made a point to let us know they would put us in with the appointments because of our message and they got us in pretty quickly. Very helpful friendly professional I wont get tires anywhere else

Called as we had a flat tire that needed repaired during our vacation at Yosemite, when I asked about an appointment, I was told it should only take an hour if there by 9am, and didnt need one. Arrived at 8:20am and waited 90 minutes, then took another hour to repair! They kept taking appoinments before walk-ins, which I figured and is why I wanted to make an appointment as we needed to be on the road as soon as possible to keep our reservations. They did do good work. I would recommend Sullivans, just insist on an appointment if you can! Additionally, they are an Enterprise car rental authorized dealer, that we lucked upon as we were not able to make it to Fresno. Enterprise gave us a place in Fresno as the closest, which is over 30 miles away.

Went in to Sullivans Tire in Oakhurst for a simple oil change 06/03/21 , get to work oil and smoke pouring out from under hood ! Called Brian the co-owner and they come out and tow it , Turns out there mistake Destroyed my engine...I have been going round and round with them ever since ! They refuse to stand by there work. Your safety and your Familys safety rides on your tires !...They didnt tighten one bolt on my car you cant expext them to tighten 5 wheel bolts...You have been warned.

Traveling through the area on vacation, while pulling our camper, we experienced both inner dual valve stems blowing out. This was just after 4pm and these generous, kind folks worked us in and stayed after hours for our repair as well as making accommodations for us to drop our camper on their lot while repairs were done. I have always been satisfy with the word that Sullivans has done. They let me know what need to be done and quote a price, and keep me informed if there is additional work that needs to be done. The place clean and staff friendly. I have referred several friends to them

I had some break and tire issues while visiting Yosemite, so I took my car in here one morning. They have a $25ish tire diagnostic service (I dont remember if thats what it was actually called) where they remove each wheel and look at the tires and breaks and stuff. Turns out I had some debris in the wheel and breaks. They cleaned that all out and fixed a tire seal that was slowly losing air. They didnt find any other major issues, so I was just charged that $25. Thats an incredible price. Thanks for that and for the great service.

Went to purchase,4 new tires for my Chrysler 300. 2 men at counter one on phone, the other fixed on a computer screen. They never acknowledged me being there. I left.

Screwed up my appointment date, then blamed me. Wasted a morning for nothing. Update: Manager reached out and apologized for the situation and offered a credit. Very nice touch. Review changed from 1 to 4 .

It was our first time at Yosemite , and we had a tires puncture. After multiple calls to our rental and insurance company, and getting ridiculous responses and estimates, we ended up contacting Sullivans Tire Pros. They were amazing, and went above and beyond to help us. They guided us on how to make it to their shop, prioritized fixing our tire (as it had to be ordered) and helped us to get a discount for a temporary rental car. Appreciate all they did to provide a great experience and have good memories at Yosemite.

Had the most positive experience Ive ever had dealing with a auto repair shop. Showed up with a flat on a rental and Shawn (one of the techs) immediately stopped what he was doing to add some air. Bryan (one of the owners) spent at least 20-30 minutes trying to help us find the specific tire we needed for our vehicle and trying to get us the best deal. Jim and Sandy were also very friendly and helpful. In the end we had to tow to another location to get what we needed, and we werent charged for anything, despite all the time they took to help us and the time the tire repair person had to take to remove our tire and reapply it before we left. GREAT people and I wish I lived in the area, because this would be my new repair place.

I have had Tire Pro servicing my cars since they were Big O. Every time they were professional, and they took a good care of my cars. I was and continue to be very happy with their service and I am recommending them to anybody who needs tires replaced or any other service (oil change, etc.). Also they helped me with smog checking the car, as they are very close to the shop which does this, and they were gracious enough to take my car to the smog check place, so I dont have to come twice with my car there. Overall very good experience, and, as I said, a business I am happy to recommend.

Disappointing. And untrustworthy. Brought it in for a heater core replacement. Later I was in town and saw my car do a burn out. When I confronted the owner Mike Sullivan about the reckless test drive he was extremely unprofessional and childish and came out yelling at me. Afterwards the button to the cruise control broke, and didnt work, power outlets didnt work afterwards so I had to take it back. They have had my car for over four weeks now and I have not heard any closure about the reckless test drive and still waiting to get my car fixed. Beyond mad. To make matters worst I went to pick up my car because I needed to drive it even though it is still waiting to be fixed and I see it in the parking lot unattended with the window and the trunk cracked open. Thank goodness I took everything valuable out before hand.

I took my 2010 Subaru here and got it back in worse condition than when I brought it in. It had a miss fire code and drove after I got it back it wouldn t even turn over it became a oversized paperweight.

Had a 8:00 a.m. appointment this morning for an oil change and tire. Arrived about 5 minutes. The folks at the front desk was friendly and informative about the process. Since this was my first time at Sullivans tire pros they gave me a $10 coupon for the cost of my tire rotation so basically it was free. They topped off my fluids and checked the brakes and air filter. The oil change came out to $106.30 (with the oil oil filter, oil disposal, oil service prep kit, drain plug gasket, and oil change labor). They took my vehicle in at 8:08 a.m. and was done by 8:50 a.m. outstanding service will definitely return.

I have always been impressed by the honesty, professionalism, and integrity of this auto repair shop. Everyone knows the old story about how mechanics cant be trusted because they will try to overcharge you and tell you certain items need fixing that actually do not. As soon as you talk to one of the employees here, any notion of that goes out the door, and you feel that what you will hear is the truth and that the service you receive will be top notch. In particular, Jim will always greet you with a warm smile, and is a real joy to chat with about the situation. I like to highlight my last visit, where I learned my engine would need replacing. They provided me quotes for a new and used engine but, without hesitation, also suggested I might just consider purchasing a new car. They gave me ample time to make my decision. I ultimately decided to get a new vehicle. They were completely understanding, and didnt charge me at all for the initial diagnosis or for researching a replacement engine.

Sullivans was a great and affordable location! They were very informative and let us know how old the tires were. We were able to get the work done in a timely fashion. We had six tires to replace on our RV and they did it for us. We even managed to get some laundry done at a local facility and they offered us a ride to do it. Jim hooked us up and he made sure to update everything in the system when we caller a few days in advance. We really appreciated the excellent customer service we received and we would recommend this to anyone looking for quality tire replacement!

These guys are the best, hands down. You wont find a more honest shop that actually takes the time to talk to you. They never belittle you or try to scam you out of anything. Its clear the owner is well respected by his employees and the staff are taken care of. I highly, highly recommend this place to anyone needing any work done!

We had loud brake noise on our RV after a recent road trip through Kings Canyon National Park. We stopped at Sullivan s Tire Pro to have them check them out at 8 am. We had metal to metal on the rear brakes! Brian and Jim at the front desk got together the needed parts from out of town. By the end of the day they re team had us back on road at a fair and reasonable price. . Everyone there is extremely professional and friendly! One of the best bad experiences I ve had in a long time! Thanks !

Amazing customer service! I was stuck in Oakhurst because I wasnt prepared for the chain restrictions on all surrounding highways and they sent an employee to Fresno to pick up tires for my car. They had those same tires installed and sent me on my way all in the same morning. All of the employees I spoke with were friendly and knowledgeable. 10/10 would recommend.
