Great Service All the time. Though the service engineer worked on the tire and did not notice any problem, he did not charge any money even for inspection. That was kind of a great thing. In my opinion, minimal charge of $10 may be appropriate for their effort.

I am restoring a 2003 Acura CL Type S 6 speed. I am currently working on the A/C. I needed to have the A/C evacuated so I could change the compressor, condenser, expansion valve and dryer. I called several places to have the freon evacuated and the only place I found to do it was the Pep Boys in Newark, Ca. Thanks so much for helping me out! When I returned to this Pep Boys location to have the Freon charged they are out of business. I left a message and no one called me back. The way that the manager keyed in the receipt it read as though it was evacuated and recharged the same day. I am not happy at spending $200+ dollars just for the evacuation of the Freon. No other Pep Boys was willing to help out. I found out that Pep Boys sold their service business to Firestone. They will not be getting any business from me. The right thing to do would be to refund most of the money, but it is not worth going to court over. If someone from Firestone reads this, please reach out to discuss.

over two years ive called 5-6 times for an alignment been trying to get an alignment here since its close to my home and I have lifetime alignment. there machine is broken everytime . idk how you make money of an alignment when your machine is broken for two years smh

Scheduled a next day appointment on Wednesday by phone for an alignment and a tire repair. When I dropped off my car, the rep tells me the alignment machine has been broken for 3 months. I have a lifetime alignment package so thats the one part of the equation that I actually wanted to get done. But now I have to waste another day at a different Firestone for my alignment...

I am a regular and for some reason I never have all the problems thes folk complain about..sum mishaps due to 3rdparties with parts but ok over all. My problem is E85!!!! The pu.p worked for 1week then they put a sign on it an eventually got it fixed because it was useable...then they just start saying its not working. I Asked y is there no cover or sign as the others ..the guy ( with fro hair) just looked at me an said nothing. 2nd occasion it was a young Indian lady...she did the same...no response..FIX THE PUMP! SELL THE GAS! Its to the customers benefit if they get cheaper gas, your job is to sell it. PS. same thing this morning. An I know its been a month since Ive been to this location & they know me well. THankx for forcing me to drive 12mls to get the gas that my car takes just because of the lack of CUSTOMER SERVICE an maintenance

Was able to get my car repaired at this location, service was very good but the price is little expensive. One suggestion, if possible they have to waive off the initially diagnosis fees if the vehicle gets repaired at the same location.

This is the 3rd time Ive been here and it is the final time. These guys take way too long to do anything. I made an appointment here for a standard service on my vehicle (oil change, tire rotation, brake fluid exchange). It was an 830AM drop off time and I made sure to get there early, so they could get started on my vehicle right away. This service should take a competent mechanic 2 hours to do. My vehicle wasnt ready until 530 PM. Even if the mechanics were in training which is what the guy at the front counter told me, this is still completely unacceptable. The worst thing was that when I called at 3PM to inquire about the vehicle, they said it would be ready at 4PM. I showed up at 4:30 and it wasnt ready. I will not be coming back here.

My TPMS warning light came on while I was driving home. I exited the freeway to assess the problem. I walked into Firestone to see if they had a tire pressure gauge I could buy. The person behind the counter asked me to drive up - and he checked the tire pressure himself. He didnt find anything, and the warning went off after topping off the tires. I was able to finish my drive home with my mind at ease. Thanks!

If I could I would give a negative zero. I setup an appointment online and when I went in they said I didnt have an appointment and could not assist me. I showed them my email confirmation and said they could not assist me and to come back in a few days. Not a sorry nothing. Then went back a few days later. I picked up my car and the alignment was worse than before. They actually said that it was normal and it was fine. Then I went to the Fremont one and it was fixed. Most recently my husband for some reason went back after I told him what happened. He picked up his car and it is running worse than it did before. The car is shaking now and alignment is worse. They were supposed to do the alignment and balance the tires which was clearly not done. You go there and you will have more problems than you went there to have fixed. Recommend the Fremont location.

I got my work done but noticed over 10 miles driven on my vehicle. And with tire and brake replacement you dont need to test drive it. Also I brought my vehicle in before they opened at 7. I had to call them after 2 o clock and not hearing from them then they said the car was complete. I would recommend that you sit with your vehicle for any work or dont come. Also when asked about needing to replace my rotors, they told me they were fine, but on the diagnostic report it says that it is recommended which wouldve save time and money. Why would replace brakes but not recommend the rotors?? Dont recommend coming period.

I hear the gas here is the freshest gas you can get. Dont let those armchair critics tell you anything different. Fresh gas has the most nutrients that your car needs.

I have been keeping the lifetime alignment at Firestone for almost all of my cars I ever had. And this is the worst experience so far. As usual, I did the routine tire alignment and rotation in this store last weekend. I felt very disappointed as they didnt check the tire spec before doing the work. Caused they rotated the rear tires (22 inch) with the front tires (20 inch), causing huge noise when I drive the car out. I had to return the car and waste another night and trip to come pick the car up on the second day. Funny thing is when I say this is a big mistake, the store denies this is their problem, and say yeah, but not our mistake, its the mistake Tesla made by making the tire size different, I got speechless. Also because of the tire difference in the front and back, the store told me I can never rotate the tires on this car, not even from left to right. However, I have been going to this store for rotation and spend the money >5 times, in this case, I am really confused and wonder what has this store being doing to my car in the past?? Is it the tire cannot be rotated but they still charged me, or they wrongly rotated them and damaged my car? The stored said I have no idea what we did in the past.

Mr Moe is great, but got different answers from his staff, when took the car there. Pricing too high for repair work. Place usually busy, so a full day thing, personal rental car would be needed

Made an appointment for wheel alignment over the phone, was told the job would take 60 minutes. Came here but then I was told the job won t be down till the end of the day (6pm) as this is a drop off appointment. I deliberately told the guy over the phone I don t want to wait to do a drop off appointment and I want to so a on time appointment, super disappointed.

I have the Lifetime alignment. They take care of my 17 STI well when I need my car done. People are chill there, Never had a bad Trip.

Laziest and unprofessional staff at this location. I ran over glass and had a side wall puncture. I told them the situation and they asked what was my tire size.(Most places would come outside and inspect) After I got him my tire size he said he couldn t change it today, and that I could leave the rim with him and he d call me once it was done. He pointed to the rack out front and said I could leave the tire/rim there. 3 days passed and no phone call. I called them and they said your tire is ready. I asked are you able to mount, rotate my tire because it was due, and put the spare back under the truck. They said they re short staffed today and to drop the truck off in a few days. I came to drop the truck off and all of a sudden they just realized a hour ago that there lift won t lift my stock Dodge Ram 2500. I said wow, the stock bottle jack lifted my truck fine when I had to change it. No rotations, they just switched the one tire.

Friendly and helpful by phone and in person. They went the extra mile to help me find the right tires nearby quickly and gave me a great deal!

First time writing a review for a Auto Care. These guys ( Jimmy and Joseph) at Firestone, Newark are understaffed and have no respect for someones time. I gave in my car for service on Saturday 06/26/21, with a commitment to get my car back next day, on Sunday. Out of blue they decide to close their shop on Sunday without any notice. On Monday told me that my car was ready and I took a uber from San Jose to pick it up. On arrival, they informed that one part is broken and they will need a day more. Didnt make an effort to call me and update that so that I didnt take an extra ride. It took the 4 more days and finally I got my car back on Friday, had to take a rental in the meanwhile and had no clear communication from Firestone on timeline. Brishing things aside, on Saturday 07/03, I booked an appointment to get a spark plug replaced for Monday. Called in before driving down again om Monday with a commitment that I will get the car back in two hour. After an hour at shop waiting, they had not touched my car yet. When inquired again with Jimmy, he casually comes in states that it will take 4 more hours without even starting the work on the car. Eventually I decided to leave with my car without any work after experiencing this poor professionalism. Will not be back in this shop again and dont recommend their service. Very poor in communication and delivering on the timeliness they promise.

The staff are really knowledgeable and offer you the best service you could ask for. They give the quotes for the best quality parts at the lowest price possible. Will always bring my car to this shop for maintenance and repairs.

TERRIBLE Auto Shop I would rate this a negative star if I have to, and I had the WORST experience ever in an auto shop. So my tires blown on the roadside and this is the closest shop to me, and I took it there. The guy told me that it is a very easy fix, and I can just pick it up in the afternoon. Afterwards, I came back, and they told me I need more fixes, and the part for that is 130 dollars, while when I checked with the dealer, it was only 30 dollars. Just for parts, they are ripping me off for more than 100 bucks, and that does not include the labor. Also they created more damage to my tires to a point where they are COMPLETELY unusable. TERRIBLE PLACE, AVOID AT ALL COSTS, THE DEALERSHIP IS NOT FAR!!! Never wrote this much of a review before but this shop does not deserve any good ratings.

Even after taking the online appointment and calling the store to double confirm , they were not ready to do the work as per the schedule , They should have the courtesy to call and cancel online appointments if they are not accepting it .. Just waste of peoples time!!! Also no body there cares to wear Mask as well !!

I bought their Lifetime Wheel Alignment package. After that, every time that I come here to get my wheel aligned I end up buying new tires because after the free wheel alignment and tests one of my tires end up with some type of nails that when removed causes irreparable damage to the tire. This has happened more than twice now. This package was too good to be true. I paid more in tire replacement than saving on the lifetime of free alignment. Scam?

Book Engine oil appointment through CarAdvise at 10:00AM on 1/27. The staff said needs 2 hours as they need Car advise to approval on the special pricing. Returning to the shop at 2:30PM, and the car is not yet work on. I asked the staff, and he gives a very negative reply - i don t know, the mechanical is on the break, maybe another 1 hour or so. I understand the covid time, there will be some short staffing or delayed. However, The point of booking appointment is to prioritize your vehicle service time, and giving a 2 false service time has ruining my experience with this shop.

They installed 2-3 years old tires. The sales rep was not honest about the warranty of the tires and tried to push services that I did not want. It was quite a bad experience.

The team has been nothing but helpful, understanding, and upbeat during an otherwise depressing time in the world. These guys did a great job helping me out with my warrantied Firestone tires. Its the 3rd Firestone Ive had to deal with since having 3 blowouts on this new car of mine, and they did make it all easy. They were so nice I brought them candy on my trip back to pick up my car.

The technicians and staff were very accommodating and helpful in replacing a tire for me for the 2nd time. They told me to come in at my convenience...then had it completed in a timely manner. AND THEY DID IT ON ONE IF THE HOTTEST DAYS WEVE EVER HAD HERE...thank you all very much

They take too long for any service because it seems they only one technician. As a result, they tend to hurry things up and do basic mistakes. For my cars oil change, he forgot to close the valve properly and hence I saw a big puddle of oil leaking onto my garage floor the next day. Also as part of complete inspection, they (he ?) did a very poor job.. I was advised to replace only the front tires (because the wear and tear on it was very clear to naked eye.. one doesnt have to be an expert to notice that). But I found out my back tires also didnt even pass the basic penny test for tread wear. Its very poor service if technician misses such basic stuff..

If youre not used to dealing with shrewd people, you will be taken advantage of by having your time wasted to the maximum here. They are short-sighted, giving misleading information to not turn your business away, sacrifice professionalism at every turn to save their cents and seconds at the cost of your dollar$ and day, and ironically your repeat business.

Bait and switch. I went for a oil change and a flat tyre. The guys call later to say he needs to change the Tyres. I asked him how much and he says he needs to change all 4 other wise will have transmission problems. So I asked him how much and he says 1200 for all 4 run flat tyres. Next day when I go to pickup the car I was given a 2k bill. When asked he said the guy who talked to me wrote down I said yes for 2k. Worthless local business. Go elsewhere.

They made an appointment at 7:00am for oil change. I came at 7:10 and the shop was still close. Another customers were waiting for them to open. Just wasting time here

Waste of time, tires and wheels were too wide despite writing down on the website what it was for. They assumed because I brought wheels and new tires I wanted it done next day (had 4pm appt). Two guys in the garage bay couldnt get it done. Went to another place with 1 guy working in the garage bay, no scheduled appt and he got it done!! The tire shop by the 76 gas station was a waste if time.

Fraud or Incompetency? What I experienced at this station is either an utter ingenuity to deceive, or gross incompetency. I went in for a flat tire and after incredible 3.5 hour long wait, the staff there recommended that I should change the tire and the reason they said so is because they found some gooey stuff inside the tire and they don t know how to handle it. So basically they don t know how to fix a self sealing tire, instead they recommended me that I should buy a new tire and replace the old one for $200. It took 3hrs to come up with this diagnosis while I was promised a one hour wait time. The atmosphere in the store is very disorganized and they don t win in this either. I recommend everyone to not visit this service center unless you don t have any other option.

PLEASE READ. I wish I am able to rate this location with 0 stars. I took my car in last week at 9:25am for my 2 front tires that needed replacement. The mechanic promised that the car would be done by 1:30pm but the car didnt end up being done until 6pm. This was not the worst part. My 2 front wheels have been squeaking ever since I took it in to Firestone. I took my car to get a a second opinion, who is a certified BMW mechanic. This mechanic confirmed to me that Firestone completely ruined my wheels and tires. There is a spacer that it supposed to go in between the tires and rotor & Firestone forgot to put them back on after replacing the tires. Firestone charged me $900 to replace the tires (because tires are that expensive for a BMW?) and am going to be more in the hole after this situation that was exacerbated by Firestone. Please do not take your car to Firestone, you will regret it. I am never going back.

Liars. I went there at 10 am with appointment for an oil change. I called at 5:40 and was told the car would be ready at 6:30. I arrived at 6:30 and was told the hadn t started working on the car.

I went there yesterday and though I saw two people at the front desk no one bothered to say that we will be right with you shortly or anything like that but even then Im OK but after long wait they came back to address my query but it was not resolved.

Appointments are joke here. I get an appointment and show up on time to be told I have to wait 4 hours for an oil change. What is the point of an appointment then?

I go there for all of automotive work. I drive for Uber so I need maintenance on my vehicle regularly. They never try and sell me services I dont need.

I changed the oil here 3 times here 40861 Fremont Blvd, Fremont, then there just to change the oil 2 hours and not friendly, next time I changed here 5795 Mowry Ave, Newark, there too not friendly and the office is very dirty and dust, my son watched TV and Someone came and turned off the TV! If in the office like this, so I do not know how they changed the oil !!!

I have come here multiple times, before posting a review. So here we go... For starters the location is great, its one of the few locations that has enough parking for the work that they do, its right next to a mall so you can drop your car off and go shopping while they work. However, the time it takes these lazy pieces of trash to do even the most simplest of work will leave you asking... Why? Advice to you: If you decide Firestone is for you and choose this location, do yourself a favor and dont. Even with an appointment, it took 4 hours to get new tires installed. Coming from a family with mechanic background, I have witness a full change of all four tires in 45 minutes. Now heaven forbid, you know mechanics or rely on your vehicle, and decide to question them on the service. They will lie to your face and promise you immortality to keep your buisness. And then as soon as you feel like your in good hands, you gaze into the garage and see all of the employees doodling on their cellphones and not working on your car. There is no excuse for the lack of hard honest work going on here. Its a shame negative stars is not an option.

Absolute joke. I dropped my van off because it was shaking while I drove. They told me three parts needed to be replace and they would guarantee it solved the problem. And 800 dollars later and literally the exact same issue is happening. Not to mention they told me that they would have it done end of day, it wasn t done till the next day at 3.... Don t go if you can avoid

Overall a decent shop, but make sure you check the invoice and question their findings. They sometimes will try and sell you services that you dont need.

I went here to fix a flat tire. They said the tire had to be replaced. But they replaced a tire which isnt of right size and charged 200$. I had to change it again in a different place. Bad experience and Not recommended.

Same tires i suppose to get from this store for about 600 dollars i got them for 380 at a local store on Whipple, Hayward CA. And i got this deal, life time tire rotation and wheel balance. But every-time i went there they come up with an excuse of not doing it. First on old tires, they said the tires are worn off and when i got new tires from this other shop and then they said the deal was only for the old tires. I have lifetime alignment on my Lexus. They did alignment good for first time and after that they mess it up (i guess purposely) and the tires started damaging from inside and before i know it was to late and this guys said i suppose to keep checking and keep the air right in tires. --- Totally Sucks --- I advice to look for some other shop.
