We were told they’re able to replace transmission, so we dropped off our Tahoe there and they gave us an estimate of $4000. We were willing so they had our Tahoe in shop for about a month but ended up not fixing anything. After a month they they informed us they specialize in tires. They wasted our time so we took our Tahoe back and now it won’t start for some reason. They tried to get us to pay for diagnosis of the vehicle but we refuse because they had it for a month and they did not fix anything.

Very sketchy and shady business. They told me I need new tires when I have perfect threads and can go for 1 more year without new one They try to scam you in every possible way. don't ever think of this place

Had a nail in the tire and took my car to Newark Tire & Auto Service for repair. The person at the front desk (rude of me to not ask for his name) helped us check the tire. Turns out the nail was only attached to the tire superficially and not a real puncture. All in all it only took 5 minutes and I was good to go. Didn't charge us for inspection and he even explained why certain puncture is repairable while others are not. Very friendly and good customer service.

Excellent communication, and great service. I brought in my vintage BMW to get its aftermarket AC system working again and they helped me diagnose the issues and were patient with me wanting to replace the damaged parts myself before flushing the system and recharging it. Now it works better than it did before it ever stopped working and blows a cool 39°F.

Got a full inspection, and they provided a detailed report on recommended repairs, including several issues they thought needed immediate attention. Since I didn't notice the car drive weird, and there were no lights on the dashboard, I asked the person at the front desk which services he thought I needed immediately. He just listed an oil change and said the other repairs were not urgent - I appreciated the honesty of the manager but thought if they weren't urgent, the mechanic did not need to list the repairs as such. Then I got a second opinion, and they didn't think shocks or strut replacement (the most expensive repair recommended to me) was necessary, and neither did any of my coworkers who are knowledgeable about cars. Also, I reviewed the owner's manual and found that, although Newark Tires listed some repairs that were unnecessary as confirmed by second opinions, they failed to recommend a transmission fluid change and a spark plug replacement. Positives about this place are that the customer service is good, they are timely and polite, and they gave me some discounts.

First time customer. Been looking for a good local auto service place. These guys are great. Booked my appointment online. Got my inspection results online via a texted link. The report was very detailed and easy to read. A few minutes later I received a link to an online estimate with prices for each of the various issues which needed repair. The estimate allows you to pick and choose which repairs you'd like done. A quick online search showed that their prices were very competitive. I needed a lot done and thought they wouldn't complete everything in one day. I have an old 2002 vehicle and was prepared for them to say they didn't have certain parts. Wasn't a concern. Not only did they finish everything, but they also waited for me past closing time and gave me a bigger discount than the service special discount advertised on their website. Friendly. Efficient. Affordable. I found my new car place!

I had called regarding an oil change/tire rotation. Owner mentioned that if I could get it there by 2pm, he’d get it done before COB. I show by 2pm and I’m told he can’t do it. Very frustrating. I show back up the next morning, and get the oil change completed. While at the shop my driver side door is scratched. After sending pictures, owner refuses to take responsibility. Check your vehicle before leaving the shop.

The driver's left front wheel kept on alerting low pressure for a few days, so a portable inflator pumped it back up. But after a quick inspection at home, we realized there was a nail embedded in the tire. Searching for a nearby tire repair shop, and comparing by reviews, this garage had slightly better reviews than its competitors. A quick online booking and call to drop by, Andre took information and said they could order a Continental tire to match the others and change it by today. I had a free coffee there waiting. He had his team put on the spare tire for free, knowing we were visiting family in the hospital first. Later when the tire arrived, he called and it was changed. It's a great efficient garage and I asked for a free souvenir pen too. So glad it's in the home neighborhood! 😁
